James Reimer Posts Shutout With Seventh Franchise

Ottawa Senators goaltender James Reimer achieved a rare feat in Monday's 2-0 victory over the Vancouver Canucks, becoming the third netminder in NHL history to earn a shutout for seven different franchises. He didn't have to do much to join Cam Talbot and Sean Burke in the select group, stopping 16 shots. Reimer was back in action for the first time since Feb. 5 and improved his record to 4-3-1. He has registered a 2.53 goals-against average and a .882 save percentage. While Linus Ullmark is expected to return to the crease for Wednesday's tilt against the Montreal Canadiens, Reimer will likely see more action soon, as Ottawa has a back-to-back over the weekend.

Tim Stutzle Stretches Point Streak to 13 Games

Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle had a power-play assist in Monday's 2-0 victory over the Vancouver Canucks, extending his point streak to 13 games. The German star collected his helper early in the third period on a goal from Brady Tkachuk. This is already the second time this season that Stutzle has managed a point streak of at least 13 games. He's had a big year with 68 points (30 goals, 38 assists) in 63 games. During his current scoring run, Stutzle has notched eight goals and nine assists.

Justin Sourdif Amasses Three Points In Monday's Win

Washington Capitals forward Justin Sourdif ended a six-game point drought in style on Monday against the Calgary Flames, recording a goal and two assists in a 7-3 victory. He was elevated to the top line for the game and became only the third Capitals rookie in the past 40 years with multiple three-point games in a season. Despite experiencing an offensive slump in recent weeks, Sourdif is averaging close to 0.5 points per game and holds an impressive plus-15 rating through 61 appearances. He has contributed 13 goals and 16 assists, collecting 25 of his 29 points during even-strength play. Sourdif's offensive production could see major improvement if he partners with Alex Ovechkin for an extended period.

Connor Bedard Sets Up Two Goals in Overtime Win

Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard recorded two assists in Monday's 3-2 overtime victory against the Utah Mammoth. He assisted Andrew Burakovsky on a game-tying goal in the second period and added his second helper when Frank Nazar scored in overtime. With his 44th career multi-point game, Bedard tied Denis Savard for the most by a Blackhawks player at age 20 or younger. At the same time, he broke Eddie Olczyk's franchise record for most assists by a player aged 20 or younger. Bedard reached 117 career assists on Monday night. He's had 34 helpers this season, along with 26 goals in 51 games. The Mammoth will hope to do a better job containing Bedard in Thursday's rematch.

Erik Gudbranson to Miss Three-Game Road Trip

Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Erik Gudbranson (upper body) won't join the team for an upcoming three-game road trip, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports. The veteran blue-liner sustained an upper-body injury in Monday's loss to the Los Angeles Kings. Columbus begins its trip on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning and will return home after Saturday's matchup with the Philadelphia Flyers. Gudbranson has missed most of the 2025-26 campaign due to a hip injury. He has featured in 21 games, recording three points (one goal, two assists), 19 shots, 29 blocks, 27 hits, and a plus-six rating. Egor Zamula and Jake Christiansen are the candidates to replace Gudbranson.

Evander Kane Dealing With Upper-Body Injury

Vancouver Canucks left wing Evander Kane is nursing an upper-body injury, head coach Adam Foote revealed on Monday. The veteran forward missed Monday's morning skate and didn't play in Vancouver's 2-0 loss to the Ottawa Senators. After sitting out the entire 2024-25 regular season, Kane has been relatively healthy this term and missed only his third game of the campaign on Monday night. He has recorded 27 points (11 goals, 16 assists), 146 shots, and 102 hits in 61 outings. With Kane sidelined, Curtis Douglas made his Canucks debut on Monday but logged less than seven minutes of ice time.

Oliver Moore Expected to Miss "Significant Time"

Chicago Blackhawks center Oliver Moore (lower body) is expected to miss "significant time," Brian Sandalow of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The rookie forward suffered a lower-body injury in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Stars. Moore has appeared in 51 games this season, notching 19 points (five goals, 14 assists). He was replaced in the lineup by Sam Lafferty on Monday against Utah. With little time remaining in the season, Moore might be done for the rest of the year.

Anton Forsberg Escapes With Overtime Victory

Los Angeles Kings goaltender Anton Forsberg stopped 28 of 32 shots on goal in Monday's 5-4 overtime victory against the Blue Jackets. Forsberg received plenty of goal support in the contest to secure the two points for the Kings, who are just outside of the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference playoff race. Forsberg has posted an 11-9-5 record to go along with two shutouts, a 2.74 goals against average, and a .903 save percentage on the season, but he is mainly a streaming option for fantasy purposes.

Artemi Panarin Collects Two Points Against Former Team

Los Angeles Kings left wing Artemi Panarin scored a goal and added an assist in Monday's 5-4 overtime victory against the Blue Jackets. Panarin's 21st goal of the season helped the Kings take an early two-goal lead in the contest, while he contributed with a helper on Adrian Kempe's game-winning goal in the extra frame to secure the win. Panarin remains an elite option for all fantasy formats, as he has picked up eight points in seven games since joining the Kings through a trade from the Rangers, while he has season totals of 21 goals and 65 points.

Adrian Kempe Scores Two Goals in Victory

Los Angeles Kings right wing Adrian Kempe scored two goals, including the game-winner, in Monday's 5-4 overtime victory against the Blue Jackets. The Swedish forward found the back of the net twice to extend his point streak to five consecutive games, and he has a total of nine points since coming back from the Olympic break. Kempe has totals of 25 goals and 55 points on the season, making him a high-end forward option across all fantasy leagues.

Igor Shesterkin Stifles the Flyers on Monday

New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin made 32 saves on 34 shots as the Rangers dominated the Philadelphia Flyers 6-2 on Monday. He got plenty of support from his offense, but Shesterkin also had a very strong performance and won his 20th game of the season. Through 39 appearances, Shesterkin has a 20-12-6 record with a 2.49 goals against average and a .913 save percentage.

James Reimer Starting Monday Night

Ottawa Senators goaltender James Reimer will make his first appearance in more than a month on Monday night against the Vancouver Canucks. The 37-year-old had his last outing on Feb. 5, defeating the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 in overtime. Reimer has done a decent job for Ottawa since joining the team midseason. He holds a 3-3-1 record, a 2.90 goals-against average, and a .870 save percentage. The Canucks have the third-weakest offense in the league, scoring 2.56 goals per game, so Reimer is in a good spot to improve his record.

Joel Hanley Returns to Action Against Capitals

Calgary Flames defenseman Joel Hanley (illness) is expected to return to the lineup on Monday against the Washington Capitals. The 34-year-old veteran didn't play on Saturday against Carolina due to illness. Hanley will come into the lineup to replace Zach Whitecloud (upper body), who was injured in Saturday's win. Whitecloud will remain home as the Flames start a five-game road trip on Monday night. Hanley will skate with Zayne Parekh on the third defensive pairing and isn't expected to be a difference-maker. In 58 outings this season, Hanley has registered seven assists, 34 shots, and 76 blocks.

Brock Boeser, Evander Kane Iffy Monday

Vancouver Canucks wingers Brock Boeser (undisclosed) and Evander Kane (undisclosed) are both questionable for Monday's tilt against the Ottawa Senators. Kane missed Monday's morning skate with an undisclosed injury, while Boeser only briefly participated before going to the locker room. Liam Ohgren and Nils Hoglander will see more work if Boeser and Kane miss Monday's game. Meanwhile, Curtis Douglas would come into the lineup to make his team debut. Douglas recorded zero goals and two assists in 29 games with Tampa Bay before the Canucks claimed him off waivers. He's not someone who should be on fantasy managers' radar.

Spencer Knight Out Against Mammoth

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Spencer Knight (illness) won't play on Monday night against the Utah Mammoth. The team initially hoped to have Knight available for the contest after he sat out two games last week due to illness. Drew Commesso has replaced Knight on the roster and is expected to start on Monday. The 23-year-old has made two appearances in the NHL this season, going 1-1-0. He struggled in a 5-1 loss to Washington on Jan. 9 but bounced back with a shutout a day later in a 3-0 victory over Nashville. It will be a tough matchup for Commesso, as Utah has lost just seven times in 2026, scoring three or more goals in eight of its last 11 games.

Jaden Schwartz Out Indefinitely

Seattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz (face) is not expected to rejoin the action for the foreseeable future. The team announced Monday that Schwartz will be sidelined indefinitely after taking a skate blade to the face in Saturday's loss to the Ottawa Senators. Schwartz has averaged 0.5 points per game this season, contributing 10 goals and 11 assists in 42 outings. Recently acquired Bobby McMann could replace Schwartz in the top six on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators if he's eligible to play. McMann missed Saturday's game due to immigration issues.

Brad Marchand to Miss "Weeks"

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (lower body) could be done for the rest of the season. Panthers head coach Paul Maurice said Monday that Marchand is expected to miss "weeks." The veteran forward may need surgery to fix a lingering lower-body injury. He has played through the issue for a couple of months. The Panthers are 11 points from a playoff spot, so shutting down Marchand for his long-term health makes sense. Marchand has notched 54 points (27 goals, 27 assists) in 52 games during his first full season in Florida.

Jake Sanderson Considered Week-to-Week

Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson (upper body) is out week-to-week. He sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's win over the Seattle Kraken. Sanderson will miss his first game of the season on Monday night versus the Vancouver Canucks. Nikolas Matinpalo (undisclosed) is set to fill the void in the lineup. With Sanderson sidelined, the Senators' blue line will lean more on Thomas Chabot, who will move to the first defensive pairing and the top power-play unit. Chabot collected two assists on Saturday and has tallied 27 points (six goals, 21 assists) in 47 games overall this season.

Nick Seeler Could Return Monday

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Nick Seeler (lower body) practiced fully on Sunday and is considered a game-time call for Monday's tilt against the New York Rangers. It appears likely that Seeler will return from a two-game absence. After posting a career-high 20 points last season, Seeler has taken a step back in 2025-26. He has recorded eight points (two goals, six assists), along with 74 shots, 112 blocks, and 95 hits. In his last 14 appearances, Seeler has managed no goals and only one assist.
