Jesus Made Not Slowing Down at Double-A, Can He Debut in 2026?

The top-ranked prospect in baseball, Jesus Made, has yet to slow down at Double-A and is putting himself in serious consideration to debut this season. The Milwaukee Brewers shortstop prospect has appeared in 45 Double-A contests this season at age 19 and has looked very comfortable. During this stint, he has posted a strong .280/.355/.460 slash line with eight doubles, four triples, six home runs, and 19 stolen bases. Additionally, Made has shown a strong eye for the dish, posting a 32:32 K:BB. Last summer, the No. 1-ranked prospect on MLB.com spent most of his time in the lower level and only logged five games at Double-A over the final week of the season. Given his quick progression at Biloxi, Made is now in serious consideration to move up to Triple-A in the coming weeks, putting him on track to contend for a late-season debut.

Is Jesus Made on Track to Debut in 2026?

Milwaukee Brewers infield prospect Jesus Made has had a good season at Double-A, but even by his standards, he has kicked it up a notch over the last week and a half. MLB's No. 1 overall prospect went 12-for-28 (.429) with a double, three home runs, and two steals (three caught) over a six-game stretch before an 0-for-4 day at the plate ended his hit streak. The switch-hitter is slashing .277/.353/.452 with six home runs and 18 steals through 42 games, and a promotion to Triple-A should be in the mix in the coming weeks. With Cooper Pratt already at Triple-A, shortstop is a bit crowded, but Pratt may head to the majors in the not-too-distant future, and Made also has the ability to play either second or third base, giving him multiple paths to a promotion. The 19-year-old isn't a stash candidate now, but is a star-in-the-making, and once he's at Triple-A, his all-around skillset could push him to the majors before the end of the year.

Jesus Made Turns in Dominant Week at Double-A, Can He Debut in 2026?

MLB.com's No. 1-ranked prospect Jesus Made turned in an incredible week at Double-A and continues to push Milwaukee's hand for a potential second-half debut. The Brewers' top prospect has had an incredible .371/.395/.600 line with two doubles, two home runs, and three stolen bases over his last seven contests. Overall, Made has looked quite comfortable over his first full season with Double-A Biloxi, posting a .283/.357/.462 line with an .819 OPS. The 19-year-old has gone deep six times and swiped an impressive 18 bags while holding a 30:21 K:BB. Even though Made is currently two stops away from the majors, he could push for a late-season debut, as he looks more than comfortable against Double-A pitching, especially if the Brewers need additional infield depth for the stretch run. For now, he is only worth stashing in deeper 15-team redraft leagues that have several N/A spots.

Jesus Made Named MLB's No. 1 Prospect, Will he Debut in 2026?

Per MLB Pipeline, Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Jesus Made is now the No. 1 prospect in baseball, taking over the top spot with shortstop Konnor Griffin now starting in the big leagues for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Made is only 19 years old and hails from the Dominican Republic, but he has a realistic chance to make his major-league debut before the 2026 season is over in Milwaukee. The 6-foot-1, 221-pound switch-hitter is currently stationed at Double-A Biloxi, where he has hit .257/.340/.400 with a .740 OPS, three home runs, 20 RBI, 15 stolen bases, and 26 runs scored in 34 games across 159 plate appearances for the Shuckers. He doesn't have any obvious weaknesses from either side of the plate, and he has 25- to 30-homer upside at the big-league level at a premium position. In addition to his raw-power upside at the plate, Made has a refined approach at the plate despite his young age, and he consistently finds the barrel when he makes contact. In addition to his hitting skills, Made is a plus runner with lots of range at the 6. He could initially be used at second and third base in the majors, but long-term, he has the skills to stick at shortstop. Despite not even being 20 years of age yet, Made is rostered in 7% of Yahoo leagues.

Jesus Made Showing Minimal Growing Pains at Double-A

Milwaukee Brewers top prospect Jesus Made is looking quite comfortable during his second taste of Double-A action. On Sunday, he posted an impressive four-hit effort with one home run, one walk, and a stolen base. He made a brief debut at Double-A during the final week of the 2025 season and posted a .261/.292/.348 line over a short five-game stint. He would spend most of the 2025 campaign with Low-A and High-A, where he carried an overall .290/.368/.421 slash line with 28 doubles, six home runs, and 45 stolen bases. Even at just 18 years old, the top prospect has continued to showcase his immense raw upside. While a 2026 MLB debut is unlikely, Made continues to bolster his dynasty value and remains on track for a 2027 promotion to Milwaukee.

Jesus Made Set to Open 2026 at Double-A

Milwaukee Brewers shortstop prospect Jesus Made is set to open the 2026 season at Double-A Biloxi, per Francys Romero of Beisbol FR. The 18-year-old Made is widely considered one of the very best prospects in all of baseball. He made it to Double-A in 2025 after starting the year in Single-A, but logged just 24 plate appearances with Biloxi and will return to the level to open 2026. Across 525 plate appearances split between three levels in 2025, Made slashed .285/.379/.413 with six home runs, 61 RBI, 81 runs scored, and 47 stolen bases. If he tears the cover off the ball in the minors early in 2026, there is an outside shot Made could earn a late-season promotion to the big leagues. More likely, he will be in the mix for a role in Milwaukee in 2027 as he hits his age-20 season and has a bit more time to develop his ability to hit for power.

When Will Jesus Made Make His Major League Debut?

Milwaukee Brewers infield prospect Jesus Made earned an invitation to big league camp this spring after cruising through three levels of the minor leagues last year with a .285/.379/.413 slash line, nine home runs, and 47 steals in 115 games, finishing the year in Double-A as an 18-year-old. The Dominican slugger was reassigned to minor-league camp earlier this month, and although a 2026 debut with the Brewers is unlikely, it isn't out of the question. The soon-to-be-19-year-old has some of the highest-rated hit, power, and speed tools (fielding, too) in the minors and has risen to MLB's No. 3 prospect overall. The 6-foot-1 phenom will likely begin the year at Double-A, and even if a 2026 MLB debut ends up not being in the cards, he's likely to have an impact in 2027, so keen fantasy managers would be wise to keep tabs on his progress this year.

Jesus Made Earns Invite to Spring Training

Milwaukee Brewers top prospect Jesus Made is being invited to big-league spring training. The 18-year-old shortstop is currently viewed as the No. 4-ranked overall prospect in the entire sport on MLB.com. He made his professional debut in 2024 in the Dominican Summer League and held a .331/.458/.554 with a strong 1.012 OPS. In 2025, Made began the season in Low-A but quickly progressed through the Milwaukee system, finishing the season in Double-A. Across 83 games with Low-A, Made posted a solid .267/.373/.388 line with four home runs and 40 stolen bases. Through 32 games split between High-A and Double-A, Made took his level of play even higher, carrying an elite .331/.392/.474 line. While a 2026 MLB debut is unlikely, if he continues this current trajectory, he could make a strong case in the second half.

Jesus Made Promoted to Double-A Biloxi

Milwaukee Brewers infield prospect Jesus Made was promoted to Double-A Biloxi on Monday after a highly successful 2025 campaign that began at Single-A and saw him move to High-A in early August. The Brewers' top-ranked prospect (MLB No.5) played well at Single-A, including 40 steals in 83 games, but flourished at High-A, where he slashed .343/.415/.500 with a .426 wOBA and 157 wRC+ across 27 games there. The 18-year-old will be one of only two players that young at Double-A, with the other being the Athletics' top prospect (MLB No. 3) Leodalis De Vries. The 6-foot-1 Dominican possesses plus hit, power, and run tools, giving him the profile of a future multi-category fantasy producer, and he should be stashed away in dynasty leagues.

Jesus Made Racks Up Four Hits on Wednesday

Milwaukee Brewers infield prospect Jesus Made continued to swing a hot bat at High-A Wisconsin. On Wednesday evening during their contest against High-A Quad Cities, Made went 4-for-5 with an RBI. Over his last 12 games, Made has posted an impressive .367/.426/.571 slash line with five doubles, one triple, one home run, and two stolen bases. Through his first 18 total games at the High-A level, the No. 7-ranked prospect in the sport has looked very comfortable, boasting a .347/.420/.569 line with six doubles, two home runs, and two stolen bases. Earlier in the season, Made posted a .261/.373/.388 line across 83 games at Low-A. Despite being several seasons away from his MLB debut, Made is a top stash option in dynasty leagues as he continues to climb prospect boards, despite being only 18 years old.
