Josue De Paula, Kendall George to Participate in Arizona Fall League

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Josue De Paula is one of eight Dodger prospects set to participate in this year's Arizona Fall League (AFL). The Dodgers' top-ranked prospect (MLB No. 12) had a strong season at High-A, where he slashed .263/.406/.421 with 12 home runs and 32 steals. Impressively, the 20-year-old walked (81) nearly as many times as he struck out (86). The performance earned him a promotion to Double-A this past Monday. The left-handed slugger will be accompanied by Kendall George, his teammate from Great Lakes, who stole 100 bases this season. The AFL season commences on October 6, and it could provide De Paula with the extra seasoning he needs in order to make a run at a big league debut next year.

Kendall George Steals Four Bases, Goes Over 100 for the Year

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Kendall George went 3-for-4 at the plate on Thursday, and he also walked once. Reaching base four times was not the most impressive feat he accomplished during the game, though, as he also stole four bases in the contest. That put him over 100 steals for the season, giving him 101 steals in 111 games at High-A Great Lakes. The Dodgers' 25th-ranked prospect has been wreaking havoc on the basepaths all season, recording six steals in a single game earlier this year, and he swiped 15 bags in just his last five games alone. However, the 20-year-old is not just a one-trick pony, as he is also batting .295 with a phenomenal .409 OBP, which is partially propped up by a 16.3 percent walk rate that is also better than his strikeout rate of 15.2 percent. The former first-round draft pick will be running wild at the upper levels of the minors next year and could be in the majors by 2027. With his ability to put the bat on the ball, keen eye, and lightning speed, he's a name dynasty managers should consider stashing away.

Kendall George Swipes Six Bags in One Game

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Kendall George went 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored on Sunday for High-A Great Lakes, but the most impressive part of his day was the six stolen bases the speedster collected, which could have been seven if not for getting caught once. After stealing 36 bases in 86 games last year, the 20-year-old is up to 19 through 34 games in 2025. Although batting just .252 on the year, the left-handed hitter is swinging a hotter bat in May, going 15-for-53 (.283) so far this month in 14 games, however, he doesn't hit for much power, as his three home runs thus far are already two more than he logged all of 2024. The Dodgers' 13th-ranked prospect isn't projected to make the majors until 2027, but is one of the rare players with 80-grade speed, which makes him an intriguing prospect to watch for fantasy purposes.

Kendall George Hits Two Long Balls, Swipes A Bag

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Kendall George hit two home runs and swiped a bag during Sunday's contest against High-A Lansing. In this game, George would tally three RBI, score three runs, and hold a 2:1 BB:K. These were George's first long balls of the regular season. Before Sunday, George held an underwhelming .120/.273/.120 slash line through the first seven games of the regular season. During this slow start, George did not tally an extra-base hit. Last summer, the 36th overall pick from the 2023 MLB Draft spent the entire 2024 campaign with Low-A Rancho. Across 86 games, he posted a strong .279/.384/.328 slash line. Fantasy managers should expect the Atascocita HS product to remain with High-A during most of the 2025 season.

Kendall George Producing In June For Single-A Rancho Cucamonga

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Kendall George continues to turn heads at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga with a very productive June. The 19-year-old is hitting .292 this month with 15 runs scored and five stolen bases. The Dodgers No. 10 prospect has a rare 80-grade for speed but that is coupled with 30-grade power. He doesn't have a home run to his credit this year. So, as a fantasy prospect, George is a bit of a rare breed with the potential to dominate the steals category. Because of his lack of power, he will also need to continue to hit like he is now in the minors and provide above-average production in runs and batting average. He is still ways away from making a big-league impact but is a name worth getting to know.
