Luke Adams On Seven-Day IL at Nashville, Looks for Brewers Call-Up

Milwaukee Brewers third base prospect Luke Adams (shoulder) is on the seven-day injured list at Triple-A Nashville, but he hopes to get back to full strength soon in seeking a call-up to Milwaukee for a big-league debut. Adams was placed on the IL on August 12 and played in his last game with the Sounds on August 9. So he will hope for a quick recovery and a brief IL stint. Adams has been solid at Nashville this season at age 22, with 16 homers and 42 RBI in 215 at-bats with a .260 average. At 6-foot-4 and 233 pounds, Adams is a big man at the plate and as a third base prospect, offers some size at the hot corner. He is a risky addition to fantasy rosters at the moment just because he is on the IL, but if he recovers well, he could get a look in September, as he is the No. 14 prospect of the Brewers and has a 50-grade hit tool and 50-grade power. Fantasy managers should monitor his progress.

Luke Adams Slumping at Triple-A Nashville

Milwaukee Brewers third base prospect Luke Adams has gone into a prolonged slump to start off the month of August, hitting .167 in six games this month. At this point it's looking like a longshot for Adams to contribute to the big league club. The 22-year-old right-handed hitter is best left on the waiver wire at this point as he looks to right himself at the plate at the Triple-A level. He is the No. 13 prospect for the Brewers at this point so he is not looking like a priority add to the team late this season. He does have decent power and a solid bat, hitting 15 homers this year between two minor league teams with 39 RBI in 209 at bats while hitting .254. The Brewers look like they have infield prospects like Jesus Made and Jett Williams ahead of Adams in the pecking order. Next year might be the year for Adams to get a debut opportunity.

Luke Adams Slumping, Falling Off Stash Radar

Milwaukee Brewers corner infield prospect Luke Adams is in the midst of a prolonged slump at the plate, going 5-for-34 (.147) over his last 11 games, and has now also gone 16 games without a home run. On the bright side, the Brewers' 11th-ranked prospect has still managed to get on base thanks to his keen eye, drawing seven walks compared to just five strikeouts during his 11-game slump, and has even been hit by pitches five times during that stretch. The 6-foot-4 slugger missed a month and a half earlier this season due to injury, and through 58 games at Nashville, he's slashing .249/.400/.497 with 12 home runs and seven steals. A low 14.8 percent strikeout rate may point to brighter days ahead, but at this point, a 2026 debut feels like a long shot unless perhaps Jake Bauers' (abdomen) recent injury ends up requiring a stint on the injured list, although Adams is not currently on the 40-man roster. Until the 22-year-old's bat shows signs of life again, he's likely not worth the roster spot needed to stash him, and there may be better options to fill an NA slot if available.

Luke Adams Making Case For Promotion to Milwaukee

Milwaukee Brewers third base prospect Luke Adams has put together a nice month of July with a .305 batting average in 59 at bats with two homers and six RBI with 14 runs scored. The 22-year-old right-handed hitter missed some time with an injury this season but has returned in early June. In 182 total at bats this year between the ACL Brewers and Triple-A Nashville, Adams has 15 homers and 38 RBI with 40 runs scored while hitting .269. Adams is the No. 16 ranked prospect in the Brewers' system with a 50-grade hit tool and 50-grade power. A former 12th round pick in the draft, Adams doesn't have the prospect pedigree of some others, but he is nonetheless putting up some nice numbers at Triple-A. He could be looked at by the Brewers for a spot on the big league roster especially at third base where Milwaukee is a bit thin.

Triple-A Surge Puts Luke Adams High on Stash Rankings

Milwaukee Brewers infielder Luke Adams has enjoyed a dominant stretch at Triple-A Nashville and is now firmly on the stash radar ahead of Week 18 of the fantasy baseball season. Over his last 20 games, the infielder has posted a stellar .323/.442/.581 line with a 1.022 OPS. During this stretch, the primary third baseman has hit five doubles, gone deep three times, and swiped three bases. On the season (49 games at Triple-A), Adams has held a .270/.413/.560 line with a .973 OPS, eight doubles, 12 home runs, and seven stolen bases. Currently in the majors, the Brewers have seen third baseman Joey Ortiz enjoy a recent surge at the plate himself, but Adams is emerging as the clear next-man-up in this infield. If he maintains this pace, he should earn a late-season taste of the big leagues.

Luke Adams Logs Another Multi-Hit Game, Remains on Stash Radar

Milwaukee Brewers corner infield prospect Luke Adams collected a pair of hits for the second day in a row on Wednesday, smacking a pair of singles, drawing a walk, and scoring once for Triple-A Nashville. The Brewers' 11th-ranked prospect is hitting .341 in July with two doubles, two home runs, three steals, and a 5:5 BB:K in 12 starts. The former 12th-rounder is having a solid season overall, batting .265 with a .962 OPS for the Sounds; that OPS is top 10 at Triple-A for players who have logged at least 190 plate appearances there. The 6-foot-4 slugger would have even more plate appearances by now if not for missing a month and a half on the injured list earlier this year. The right-handed hitter owns a low 16.0 percent strikeout rate with a solid 11.9 percent walk rate at Triple-A, and with a sound overall approach, he could be in the mix for a big league promotion in the coming weeks. There is enough contact and power here to make him intriguing for fantasy if he gets regular at-bats, but the 22-year-old is realistically only worth stashing in very deep 14-teamers and NL-only leagues, and would have to be added to the 40-man roster ahead of any potential debut.

Luke Adams Gets Back on Track With Multi-Hit Performance

Milwaukee Brewers corner infield prospect Luke Adams went 2-for-4 with a run scored on Tuesday, getting back to pre-All-Star-break form. The Brewers' 11th-ranked prospect was 9-for-20 (.450) in the six-game lead-up to the break, but came out of the break just 1-for-11 (.091) before Tuesday night's multi-hit effort. The former 12th-rounder missed over a month earlier this season due to injury, but has been productive when on the field, recording a .952 OPS, .416 wOBA, and 147 wRC+ in the 45 games he's played for Nashville. With 12 home runs on the season and plenty of power metrics ranking in the 84th percentile or better, there's ample fantasy intrigue in his bat, which makes for a potential stash candidate in deeper 14-team and NL-only leagues, but there is no current opening on the MLB roster at the moment, and the 6-foot-4 slugger would have to be added to the 40-man roster ahead of an MLB debut.

Luke Adams an Intriguing Power Bat to Monitor at Triple-A

Milwaukee Brewers corner infield prospect Luke Adams has gotten off to a slow start to the second half at Triple-A Nashville, going 1-for-11 (.091) in his first three games after the break. However, the lone hit was a home run, giving him 12 on the season in just 44 games for the Sounds. The Brewers' 11th-ranked prospect missed a month and a half earlier this year due to an injury, but has looked nearly ready for a shot in the big leagues during the time he's been on the field. The right-handed hitter is batting just .250 after the recent slowdown, but still maintains a strong .951 OPS thanks to some loud contact and an 11.8 percent walk rate. He puts the bat on the ball a lot, as evidenced by just a 16.7 percent strikeout rate (79th percentile), and more extra-base hits should be on the way with a barrel rate of 11.2 percent (84th percentile) and a max exit velocity of 113.3 mph (94th percentile). There isn't a clear path to playing time in Milwaukee at the moment, and with the versatility of their roster, Adams could end up in a platoon role, so there isn't much reason to stash him outside of maybe NL-only leagues, but if he were to find his way to regular at-bats in the majors, the power potential could make him a viable waiver wire add.

Luke Adams Emerging as Second-Half Platoon Candidate for Brewers

Milwaukee Brewers prospect Luke Adams is heating up in July at Triple-A Nashville with a .385 batting average in his 26 at-bats to go with two homers and five RBI. After a rehab assignment in May with the ACL-Brewers, Adams has racked up a combined 15 homers and 37 RBI between A-ball and Nashville to go with a .275 batting average and a 1.059 OPS. Adams is a prime candidate for a call-up to Milwaukee to replace David Hamilton, who is on the 10-day IL. Adams, the right-handed bat, could be ideal in a third-base platoon even when the left-handed hitting Hamilton returns from the IL. Adams is the No. 11 prospect for the Brewers, could get spot at-bats, and make the most of his opportunity to face left-handed pitching at the major league level and become fantasy relevant in deeper leagues when he does, making him a worthy stash target option in deeper formats.

Luke Adams Worth Stashing After Strong First Half at Triple-A?

Milwaukee Brewers corner infield prospect Luke Adams finished off the first half with a flurry of production, going 7-for-15 (.467) with a double, a home run, three steals, and a 3:1 BB:K over the final four games before the break. The Brewers' 12th-ranked prospect will head into the second half with a .263/.412/.571 slash line with 11 home runs and seven steals in 41 games at Triple-A Nashville. His .983 OPS is good enough to put him in the top 10 out of all Triple-A hitters with at least 150 plate appearances, and if not for missing a month and a half early in the 2026 campaign, the 6-foot-4 slugger might have made his MLB debut by now. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old should get that opportunity in the second half, and with chase, barrel, and swinging-strike rates all ranking 84th percentile or better, there's plenty of fantasy intrigue here, not to mention a max exit velocity of 113.3 mph (94th percentile). Managers in very deep 12+ team leagues looking for power should consider stashing the right-handed hitter ahead of an eventual call-up.
