Is Max Clark Still Worth Stashing Amid Triple-A Skid?

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark has hit a bit of a skid at Triple-A, which could slightly delay his MLB debut. Over his last 13 games, the team's top-ranked prospect has posted a modest .140/.232/.160 line with a low .392 OPS. During this stretch, Clark has yet to go deep while swiping three bags with an 11:6 K:BB. However, over his first 19 games of the campaign, Clark looked like a completely different hitter, posting an elite .351/.416/.519 line with a stellar .935 OPS. He launched one home run while adding eight doubles, six stolen bases, and a strong 10:10 K:BB. Last season, Clark spent most of his time with High-A before moving up to Double-A in the second half. While Clark's track record at Triple-A is not overly lengthy, a hot stretch could push him to the majors ahead of the All-Star break.

Max Clark's Elite Speed Pushing Him Closer to MLB Debut

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark has been hitting the ball well ever since his promotion to Triple-A, and his top-tier run tool could get him to the majors sooner rather than later. The former No. 3 pick is a four-tool prospect, with power grading out as his only average trait. At Triple-A this year, he's slashing .276/.355/.390 with one home run, nine steals, an 11.3% walk rate, a 14.9% strikeout rate, and 102 wRC+. He's been a steal and on-base threat at every level, and he also tapped into a little more power last year with 14 homers. Between the elite draft capital, an impressive statistical track record, and a well-rounded set of skills, Clark's MLB debut seems to be a matter of "when" and not "if." We fully expect him to get the call at some point this season, and while we know the Tigers won't rush his development, they could also benefit from his presence in the majors. Clark is a must-stash prospect in fantasy baseball ahead of his anticipated promotion.

Max Clark Hits Brief Skid at Triple-A Toledo, Still Holding Elite Stash Value?

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark has been swinging a cold bat at Triple-A over the last two weeks, but still holds a high-end stash value among the top hitting prospects. Over his last 11 games with Triple-A Toledo, Clark has held a .140/.229/.163 line with just one extra-base hit (one double) and a 12:5 K:BB. However, before hitting this slump, Clark was off to an impressive start with the top club at the Detroit system (17 games), posting a .377/.444/.565 line with a 1.010 OPS, eight doubles, one home run, and six stolen bases. During this stretch, Clark drew 10 walks while only striking out six times. Fantasy managers should continue to view Clark as an elite hitting prospect to stash, as he should remain in the mix to debut later in the first half of the season.

Max Clark Remains an Elite Stash Option in All Formats

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark continues to show off his offensive potential that could soon be on display in the majors. The Tigers' second-ranked prospect is riding a four-game hit streak and has now reached base via hit or walk in all but three of his 26 games for Triple-A Toledo this season. The left-handed hitter is slashing .301/.378/.437 with nearly as many walks (14) as strikeouts (16) and nine stolen bases. The former third-overall draft pick came into the season with a career 18.5 percent strikeout rate, but has cut that all the way down to 13.4 percent this season, and it is looking like there isn't much left to prove offensively in the minors. President of baseball operations Scott Harris recently stated the team isn't ready to promote him, but with Detroit's outfield options getting thin after injuries to Parker Meadows (arm) and Javier Baez (ankle), the 21-year-old's MLB debut presumably draws nearer and nearer. With the potential to be a solid five-category contributor, there aren't many better hitters in the minor leagues to stash for fantasy.

Tigers Not Giving Hard Timetable on Max Clark's Potential Promotion

When asked on MLB Network if outfield prospect Max Clark will be up with the Detroit Tigers this year, general manager Scott Harris said that there's a "good chance" that Clark will end up helping the team, but he also added that it's "premature to actually forecast when that's going to happen." Fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues are anxiously awaiting Clark's MLB debut, which feels like it will come sooner rather than later based on how he's been performing at Triple-A Toledo so far this year. The 21-year-old left-handed hitter is currently slashing .305/.382/.453 with an .834 OPS, a home run, 11 RBI, nine doubles, a triple, eight stolen bases, and 15 runs scored in 24 games with the Mud Hens. Per MLB Pipeline, Clark is considered the No. 8 overall in all of baseball and the No. 1 overall outfield prospect. The former third overall pick in 2023 is a future table-setter for the Tigers at the top of their batting order with plus-plus speed in the outfield and on the base paths. He's only rostered in 8% of Yahoo leagues now, but that number is likely going to continue to rise as we get closer to the summer months.

Max Clark Extending Dominant Stretch at Triple-A

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark has continued to impress at Triple-A and remains a top prospect to stash. Clark was given the opportunity to break camp with the MLB roster but was sent to Triple-A to begin the regular season. Even though he fell just short of the competition, Clark has looked quite comfortable with Toledo and remains on the verge of his MLB debut. Through his first 24 games with the top club in the Detroit system, the former first-round selection has carried a .305/.382/.452 slash line with an .835 OPS. During this stretch, Clark has launched just one home run but tallied nine doubles, swiped eight bags, and held an impressive 14:13 K:BB. While the Detroit outfield appears to be crowded at the moment, another injury could push Clark to the big leagues. He remains a top option to stash in five-outfielder formats.

Max Clark a High-End Stash with Multi-Category Potential

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark continues to show off the tools that will eventually make him a fantasy asset this season. The Tigers' second-ranked prospect has cooled at Triple-A Toledo over the last four games, going 1-for-16 (.063) over that stretch, but still managed to draw a pair of walks and steal a base during that time. Despite the cold spell, the former third-overall draft pick is still hitting .318 and has a robust .394 on-base percentage thanks to a 12.1 percent walk rate, which happens to be the same as his strikeout rate (12.1 percent). The left-handed hitter has also leveraged his speed, swiping seven bases already in just 21 games. The 21-year-old should make his MLB Debut by midseason, potentially sooner if he gets hot again, and should be viewed as a high-priority offensive stash with multi-category potential.

Max Clark Continues to Climb Stash Rankings

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark continues to perform at an elite level at Triple-A and is quickly approaching his MLB debut. Through his first 19 games at the top level of the minor leagues, Clark has posted a .351/.416/.519 slash line with eight doubles, one triple, one home run, six stolen bases, and a 10:10 K:BB. Last summer, Clark spent most of his time with High-A before joining Double-A in the second half. Across both levels (111 games), the former third overall selection looked just as sharp, carrying a .271/.403/.432 line with an .835 OPS, 14 home runs, and 19 stolen bases. While the Detroit outfield is crowded at the moment, following the promotion of Wenceel Perez, Clark's current trajectory could push the team's hand. For now, he is a top stash option in 12+ team, five-outfielder leagues.

Max Clark with Another Multi-Hit Performance, Toolsy Outfielder is a Must-Stash

Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Max Clark has been showing why he was a third-overall draft pick back in 2023, consistently climbing the ranks of the Tigers' farm system and proving he's not overmatched whatsoever at Triple-A thus far in 2025. The Tigers' second-ranked prospect (soon to be top-ranked with the eventual graduation of Kevin McGonigle) has tallied six multi-hit performances over his last 10 games, and is now hitting .356, slugging .525, and owns a .437 on-base percentage thanks to a robust 14.1 percent walk rate. What's more is that the left-handed slugger has just an 8.5 percent strikeout rate and has swiped six bases. He's played just 15 games at Triple-A, but soon there won't be much left to prove, and a debut in the majors is drawing nearer and nearer. With a fantasy-friendly combination of contact, power, and speed, the 21-year-old is a worthy stash candidate in all formats.

Max Clark Not Slowing Down at Triple-A, Path to MLB Debut Remains Clear

Detroit Tigers top prospect Max Clark has yet to slow down during his first taste of Triple-A and is quickly approaching his MLB debut. After spending most of the 2025 campaign with High-A and Double-A, the Tigers opted to send their No.1 outfield prospect to Triple-A to begin the 2026 campaign. Through his first 14 games with Toledo, the former third overall pick has produced at an elite level, holding a .352/.439/.537 slash line with a .976 OPS. Even though Clark has yet to go deep, the outfielder has tallied eight doubles, while swiping six bags and holding a 5:10 K:BB. Last week, starting outfielder Parker Meadows (arm) hit the injured list, but the Tigers opted to promote Wenceel Perez, not Clark, to the MLB roster. Despite this, if Clark continues this trajectory, he could be in the mix to debut in the coming weeks, which makes him a high-end hitter to stash in all 12+ team, five-outfielder leagues.
