Bryce Hall Placed On Injured Reserve

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back Bryce Hall (ankle) has been placed on the injured reserve on Tuesday. This knocks him out for at least the next four games, but he's likely done for the rest of the season. The former fifth-round pick suffered a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula during the Week 1 win over the Washington Commanders. Hall signed with the Bucs this past offseason after playing the last four seasons with the New York Jets. He was expected to be a depth option in the secondary, but now his season is most likely over. In a corresponding move, the Bucs have signed defensive back Keegan Isaac who figures to take over Hall's role on defense.

Bryce Hall Dislocates Ankle, Fractures Fibula In Week 1

Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Bryce Hall (leg) was carted off the field in an air cast during Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. He has been diagnosed with a dislocated right ankle and fractured fibula. It's a crushing blow for the Buccaneers, their secondary, and Hall. The 26-year-old is likely headed for an extended absence, and there's even a possibility that the Buccaneers could shut him down for the rest of the season. Hall doesn't have a very lengthy injury history, but he did suffer a season-ending ankle injury during his final collegiate campaign in 2019. The Buccaneers suddenly find themselves incredibly shorthanded at cornerback with Hall sidelined, Zyon McCollum (head) concussed, and Josh Hayes (ankle) at risk of missing time.

Bryce Hall Carted Off The Field

Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Bryce Hall (ankle) was injured in Sunday's win over the Commanders. Things didn't look good, with the 26-year-old suffering an ankle injury and exiting the field on the cart. Hall, who signed with the Bucs in the offseason, spent three seasons with the Jets, totaling 122 tackles, two picks, and 21 passes defensed in 34 games. Unfortunately, there's a chance the injury will keep him on the shelf for a while, which isn't good news for the Bucs defense. As always, more information is likely on the horizon.

Bryce Hall To Be Available At The Trade Deadline

New York Jets defensive back Bryce Hall is reportedly going to be available at the trade deadline. The 24-year-old has seen reduced snaps with the additions of DJ Reed and Sauce Gardner to this defense. Last season, Hall finished with 79 tackles and 16 passes defended in 17 games with the Jets. However, the team doesn't need him to play such a big role anymore with more talent in the secondary. There should be a market for Hall considering he has performed well in the past. It remains to be seen if the Jets can find Hall a new home before the trade deadline.

Jets Add To Secondary With Bryce Hall

The New York Jets drafted some much-needed cornerback help with Virginia's Bryce Hall at 158th overall. Hall had a second-round grade last season but returned for his senior year, where he broke his fibula and tore his deltoid, ending his season. Hall says he'll be 100 percent for training camp, and if that's the case, he will be a nice addition to the Jets Defense. He is a disruptive, outside corner with great length to match up with NFL receivers. He'll have an opportunity to compete for a starting job his rookie year with the Jets moving on from Trumaine Johnson.
