The Los Angeles Chargers re-signed exclusive-rights free-agent kicker Cameron Dicker to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday. The Chargers placed a tender on Dicker on March 8 and he finally signed it. The 23-year-old will return to LA in 2024 after making 31 of his 33 field-goal tries and all 35 of his extra-point attempts in 17 games last year. In his rookie season in 2022 with the Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles, Dicker went 21-for-22 on field goals to lead the league with a 95.5 field-goal percentage while also making all 24 of his extra points in 11 games. He finished the 2023 campaign as the No. 10 fantasy kicker and should be in play as a top-10 kicker once again as long as he doesn't lose the primary kicking job for the Chargers in training camp this summer.
The Chargers tendered an offer to kicker Cameron Dicker, the team announced on Friday. The 23-year-old ended the 2023-24 campaign by making 31 of his 33 field goal tries, with both misses taking place beyond the 50-yard mark. He also landed all 35 extra-point attempts. Despite the Chargers' struggles last season, Dicker still finished as a top fantasy kicker. With Los Angeles expected to bounce back this season, especially on the offensive end, Dicker should have more chances to become an even bigger asset for fantasy managers.
Cameron Dicker Scores All The Chargers Points Again In Week 18
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker scored all of the Chargers points for a second game in a row in a Week 18 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs backup squad. Dicker made all four of his field goal tries to wrap up an impressive season in which he was one of the few bright spots for a slumping Los Angeles team. Week 18 saw Dicker make field goals from 49, 40, 43, and 20 yards out. For the first time in a long time, the Chargers had a solid special teams unit this season. The problem was, the offense and defense were both mired in season-long slumps.
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is a solid kicking option in Week 18 fantasy lineups. The Pro Bowl alternate has had an excellent season and should have the chance to kick a few more field goals against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon. He's been accurate and clutch all year, making 27 of his 29 field goal attempts (including seven from 50 yards or longer) and all of his extra points.
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker made three field goals in a Week 17 loss to the Denver Broncos. Dicker made his field goals from 36, 50, and 52 yards out. He was responsible for all nine points that the Chargers were able to score in another putrid offensive performance without Justin Herbert (finger) under center. Dicker had a 50-yard field goal attempt blocked in the fourth quarter, giving him a rare miss in what has been an impressively accurate season.
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is a solid kicking option in a Week 17 game against the Denver Broncos. Dicker had a huge Week 16 game, nailing five field goals and an extra point for a 20+ fantasy point performance. With the Chargers struggling to do much on offense, they're having many drives end up in field goal range but outside of the end zone, leaving "Dicker the Kicker" to do his work. He's a top-10 option at fantasy football's most variable position this week.
Cameron Dicker Makes Five Field Goals In Week 16 Loss
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker had an excellent game in a Week 16 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Dicker attempted five field goals, making all five and also nailing his lone extra point attempt. Dicker ended up responsible for 16 points in a game where the Chargers scored 22 points total. His field goals came from 20, 40, 47, 45, and 52 yards out. It was an impressive performance by Dicker, who has been very accurate and consistent all season long.
Cameron Dicker Not A Strong Starting Option In Week 16
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is not a strong starting option in a Week 16 game against the Buffalo Bills. Dicker only attempted (and made) three extra points in a Week 15 loss. With the Chargers offense struggling in all aspects with Easton Stick under center and Keenan Allen (heel) out for another game, Dicker is unlikely to get many chances to kick. He should remain on the waiver wire in most formats despite a solid season.
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker isn't a great fantasy option in a Week 15 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Dicker has been excellent all season, missing only one field goal way back in Week 3. The issue with "Dicker the Kicker" is that he's going to be playing on an offense that is sure to struggle with Easton Stick under center taking the place of an injured Justin Herbert (finger). With the Chargers likely to struggle to do anything offensively, there's not much likelihood that Dicker will be called upon to kick all that often. He's been solid all season, but he may need to find his way back to most fantasy waiver wires at this point.
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is set for a good game in a Week 14 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Dicker scored all six points in the Chargers-Patriots game in Week 13, drilling two field goals in the 6-0 win. Week 14 should feature at least a few more points, giving Dicker a better outlook for the week. He's a top-10 kicking option in fantasy formats that have the position on the roster.
