Esteban Gonzalez Promoted To High-A
Cleveland Guardians outfield prospect Esteban Gonzalez is being promoted to High-A Lake County, according to MiLB Central. Gonzalez has spent the entire season at Single-A Lynchburg and has posted a solid .287/.348/.464 slash line. Across 69 games, the 21-year-old has tallied six home runs and 39 RBI, held an 18:61 BB:K ratio, and stole an eye-catching 37 bases. Last summer, across 36 games at the rookie league, the outfielder swiped 21 bags with a strong .300/.410/.569 slash line. Gonzalez is currently outside the top 30 prospects in the Cleveland system on MLB.com but could be a name to keep an eye on as he is flashing elite speed at the lower levels of the minor leagues.
