Jose Ramirez Steals Three Bags in Win

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez was a menace on the base paths in a 9-8 win over the Texas Rangers on Sunday. Ramirez stole three bases in a game for the third time this year and also collected multiple hits, going 2-for-5 with a pair of singles. It was the last in a long line of productive regular-season games in 2025 for Ramirez, one of the driving forces behind an improbable AL Central-winning campaign for Cleveland. The 33-year-old earned his seventh All-Star nod this season and slashed .283/.360/.503 with 30 homers, 85 RBI, 103 runs scored, and a career-high 44 stolen bases in 158 games and 672 plate appearances. Ramirez and the Guardians will begin a wild-card series against a familiar foe, the Detroit Tigers, on Tuesday. The Guardians stunningly overcame a 15 1/2-game deficit to snatch the division from the Tigers.

Jose Ramirez Records Three Hits, Two Steals in Win

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez was all over the place during Thursday's game against the Miami Marlins. Ramirez went 3-for-4 at the plate with singles and three runs scored in the win. He also added one RBI and two stolen bases, which gives him 35 steals on the season. Ramirez now has 25 home runs and 35 steals, so the 30-30 club seems very possible for the switch-hitter. The veteran slugger has been one of the most consistent fantasy options all season long.

Jose Ramirez Swipes Three Bases on Saturday

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez peppered the box score in a 6-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. Ramirez finished 1-for-3 with two walks and a run scored, and he was a force on the bases, swiping three bags. The seven-time All-Star has now stolen three bases in a game twice this year. Already with eight steals in 12 contests this month, he's up to 29 on the season and on pace to surpass the career-high 41 he amassed a year ago. Along with that, the switch-hitting 32-year-old is once again posting outstanding numbers at the dish. He's slashing .297/.367/.510 with 18 homers, 48 RBI, and 53 runs scored in 387 plate appearances.

Jose Ramirez Uber-Productive in Win

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in his team's 10-6 win against the hosting Houston Astros. He also walked twice, stole two bases, and scored thrice. The fantasy superstar got Cleveland on the board in the top of the first inning, crushing homer No. 16 off of Astros' starter Hunter Brown to make it 2-0. He wasn't done there, picking up two more steals to bring his season total to 24. Ramirez was stuck in a dreadful 2-for-31 slump to bridge June and July, but has broken out of it with authority, leaving the yard three times and swiping three bags over his last five appearances. Overall, he boasts a strong .299/.364/.503 triple slash and is poised to challenge for a second consecutive 30/30 campaign.

Jose Ramirez in Guardians Lineup on Saturday

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez (forearm) is in Saturday's lineup and hitting third against St. Louis Cardinals starter Miles Mikolas. Ramirez left the Guardians' 6-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays early on Thursday after taking a Kevin Gausman fastball off the right forearm. After sitting out Friday's 5-0 loss to the Cardinals, he's ready to return to a slumping lineup. Ramirez is in the midst of another great year, having hit .317/.378/.514 with 13 homers, 38 RBI, 21 steals, and 43 runs scored over 325 plate appearances.

Jose Ramirez Won't Start on Friday

Cleveland Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM that third baseman Jose Ramirez (forearm) "probably isn't going to be able to play" in the series opener on Friday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Ramirez was hit by a pitch on his right forearm in Thursday's loss to the Toronto Blue Jays and was pulled from the game early, but thankfully X-rays came back negative for a fracture. While J-Ram won't start on Friday, he could be available off the bench later in the game, which signals that he could return to action for fantasy managers for Game 2 of the series on Saturday at Progressive Field. Daniel Schneeman and Gabriel Arias are both options to start at third on Friday. The 32-year-old Ramirez continues to be one of the best all-around players in baseball and currently has a .317/.378/.514 slash line with an .892 OPS, 13 homers, 38 RBI, 43 runs and 21 steals.

Jose Ramirez Leaves Early With Bruised Forearm

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez (forearm) left Thursday's game early against the visiting Toronto Blue Jays at Progressive Field with a bruised right forearm after he was hit by a pitch from Kevin Gausman in the bottom of the fourth inning. J-Ram was pulled before going back on defense in the top of the fifth. The good news is that X-rays came back negative on his arm, so there's a good chance we'll see the 32-year-old All-Star back in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against the St. Louis Cardinals. Before leaving, Ramirez was hitless in two plate appearance. Daniel Schneemann moved from second to third base, Angel Martinez moved from center to second, Lane Thomas moved from right to center, and Nolan Jones entered the game to play right field. Fantasy managers should check back on Ramirez to see if he's active on Friday.

Jose Ramirez Blasts Two-Run Bomb in Loss

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in his team's 5-3 loss to the Houston Astros. The switch-hitting fantasy superstar also singled, scored twice, and drew two walks. Ramirez drove in teammate Steven Kwan in the seventh inning with a no-doubter -- his twelfth of the season -- off Astros reliever Steven Okert to knot the score at 3-3. He'd get a chance to walk it off, but fouled out with a man on first and second in the bottom of the ninth. He's been on quite a streak, notching 12 multi-hit performances over his last 18 games. The 32-year-old is a blistering 31-for-74 over that stretch (.419) with six doubles, three homers, eight RBI, 16 runs scored, and five steals. He currently holds a 1.170 OPS in June after a 1.085 OPS over 101 May at-bats.

Jose Ramirez Homers, Extends On-Base Streak to 28 Games

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez swatted his 11th home run of the season on Sunday to help the team to a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Ramirez added a single to finish 2-for-4 with one RBI. While Ramirez saw a 21-game hitting streak end on Friday, he has now gotten on base in 28 consecutive contests since April 30. Not surprisingly, the six-time All-Star is enjoying another stellar season. He's slashing .327/.384/.555 line with 36 runs scored, 29 RBI, and 14 stolen bases in 237 trips to the plate. Ramirez will try to add to his on-base streak when the Guardians go on the road to face New York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon on Tuesday. Ramirez has gone a modest 11-of-45 with no HRs, five RBI, eight walks, and four strikeouts against Rodon.
