Larnach has gotten off to a hot start in August, going 6-for-15 with two home runs, five RBI, and three runs scored in four games. Overall, he's hitting .246/.320/.414 with 15 long balls, 48 RBI, 49 runs scored, and two steals in 417 trips to the plate.

The former first-rounder (20th overall) in 2018 out of Oregon State has slashed .230/.321/.344 on the year with a .666 OPS, four home runs, 16 RBI, 17 runs scored and one stolen base in 122 at-bats. Against lefties, he's gone 3-for-21 with no homers, two RBI, one walk and six strikeouts. Larnach has never faced off against Povich in his career.
