Zyhir Hope Reassigned to Minor-League Camp on Monday

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced on Monday that they reassigned outfield prospect Zyhir Hope to minor-league camp, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Hope was always a long shot to break camp with the big-league squad out of spring training, especially after hitting just .167 (6-for-36) with no homers, two doubles, five RBI, seven runs scored, three walks, and 12 strikeouts in 39 plate appearances over 20 Cactus League games in spring training. The 21-year-old is expected to begin the 2026 campaign at Double-A Tulsa after hitting .266/.376/.428 with an .804 OPS, 13 home runs, 80 RBI, 69 runs scored, and 27 stolen bases in 127 games with High-A Great Lakes and Tulsa in 2025. Hope played in only six games for Tulsa. Despite standing at only 5-foot-10, 193 pounds, he has impressive raw power from the left side. The Dodgers' No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, is likely to spend all of 2026 in the minors before potentially debuting in the Show in 2027. For now, he's strictly a stash candidate in dynasty/keeper leagues for his power/speed upside.

Zyhir Hope Earns Invite to MLB Spring Training

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope earned an invite to MLB spring training. Hope is quickly climbing prospect boards and is entering the 2026 campaign as one of the top outfield prospects in the game. According to MLB.com, Hope is the team's No.2-ranked prospect and the sport's No. 20-ranked prospect, sitting behind fellow outfield teammate Josue De Paula. Last summer, the 21-year-old spent the majority of the campaign with High-A Great Lakes before earning a short six-game stint at Double-A. With Great Lakes, Hope posted a .264/.377/.428 slash line with 13 home runs and 26 stolen bases. He carried this momentum into Double-A, posting a .316/.350/.421 line. While Hope will not break camp with the MLB roster, he will likely open the season with Double-A, which could open the door for a second-half Triple-A promotion.

Zyhir Hope an Ascending Dynasty Asset in Los Angeles System

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope has seen his stock increase over the past year and is seen as not only one of the top prospects in the Dodgers system, but in all of baseball. In 2025, Hope began the campaign with High-A and spent 121 games with Great Lakes. During this stint, the 21-year-old outfielder posted an elite .264/.377/.428 line with an .805 OPS. He hit 27 doubles, added 13 long balls, and swiped 26 bases. He then earned a brief six-game stint with Double-A to conclude the season, where he went 6-for-19 with two doubles and a stolen base. Hope now sits as the No. 20-ranked prospect in baseball and the No. 2-ranked in Los Angeles, only behind fellow outfielder Josue De Paula. While Hope is unlikely to debut in 2026, he is a name to follow in dynasty/keeper leagues as he appears to be a budding five-category producer.

Zyhir Hope Earns Promotion to Double-A Tulsa

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope is headed to Double-A Tulsa following a strong season at High-A Great Lakes. The Dodgers' second-ranked prospect (MLB No. 19) slashed .264/.377/.428 with 13 home runs and 26 steals in 121 games at High-A. The strikeout rate is something to keep an eye on at the next level, as he recorded an elevated 26.5 percent rate for the Loons, but it was somewhat offset by a strong 14.9 percent walk rate, and if he can continue to grow into additional power, then it may not matter all that much. The 20-year-old could be in the majors by 2027, and as a projected potential 30-home run hitter, he should be rostered already in dynasty leagues.

Zyhir Hope in Slump at High-A

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope has hit a bit of a slump at the plate at High-A Great Lakes. Over his last seven games, the budding star has gone just 1-for-24 at the plate with one run and one RBI. During this stretch, Hope has struck out nine times, drawn six walks, and swiped three bags. However, before this stretch, Hope held an impressive .290/.392/.629 slash line with four doubles, five home runs, and a 1.021 OPS over his last 17 games. Overall, Hope has enjoyed a very productive campaign at High-A, posting an .850 OPS through a 96-game stint. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his progression as he continues to climb prospect boards, now sitting as the No. 36 on MLB Pipeline. He is a strong stash in dynasty leagues even though he is likely two seasons away from his MLB debut.

Zyhir Hope Launches Long Ball in Second Straight Game

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Zyhir Hope went 3-for-5 with a double and a home run during their contest against High-A Fort Wayne on Tuesday evening. This was Hope's second-straight game going deep and his third home run over his last four contests. Since July 22 (six games), Hope has only gone hitless once, and posted an impressive .417/.517/.833 slash line with six RBI, 10 runs, two stolen bases, and a 7:5 K:BB. Overall, the 20-year-old has looked very impressive during his first look at High-A this season. Across 89 total games, Hope has posted an elite .296/.399/.453 slash line with 22 doubles, three triples, 12 home runs, and 15 stolen bases. He is currently ranked as the No. 36 overall prospect on MLB.com and is quickly ascending prospect boards.

Zyhir Hope Busy on Thursday

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope enjoyed a productive day at the plate during their contest on Thursday evening against High-A Beloit. In this game, Hope went 4-for-5 at the dish with a long ball, a stolen base, and four runs. This was his third-straight game with at least one hit. The 20-year-old has looked rather impressive during his first taste of High-A action this season. Through 86 games with High-A Great Lakes, the No. 31-ranked prospect on MLB.com has posted a strong .293/.393/.476 slash line with 21 doubles, three triples, and 10 home runs. Hope has swiped 14 bags and added 58 RBI with 46 runs. Last season, the 20-year-old posted a .905 OPS with Low-A. Given his impressive development this season, Hope could be in the mix to open the 2026 season at Double-A, which could open the door for a late-season MLB debut.

Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope to Play in All-Star Futures Game

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospects Josue De Paula and Zyhir Hope have both been selected to play in the 2025 All-Star Futures Game. The Dodgers' top two prospects are having productive seasons at High-A Great Lakes, with De Paula hitting .269 with 10 home runs, 24 steals, and an .852 OPS thanks in part to a phenomenal .409 OBP that is bolstered by an 18.8 percent walk rate. Hope is hitting .297 with seven home runs, 11 steals, and an .865 OPS, also thanks to a strong 14.1 percent walk rate. Both are making the case for a promotion to Double-A, and both could be in the big leagues as soon as next year. Each of them could also be big-time fantasy producers within a couple of years, so dynasty managers should have a keen interest in both players.

Zyhir Hope Collects Two Hits, Swipes Two Bags on Wednesday

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope went 2-for-3 with a walk and two stolen bases on Wednesday for High-A Great Lakes. He was also caught stealing once. The Dodgers' third-ranked prospect now has seven steals on the year, however, four of them came in his first six games of the season, so we'll see if the 20-year-old will pick up the pace again. Either way, the left-handed slugger is performing well in his first taste of High-A pitching, slashing .300/.403/.488 with seven home runs, 37 RBI, 33 runs scored, and a strong 13.9 percent walk rate. Look for the team to give him a shot at Double-A later this season, and with strong all-around tools, the former 11th-round draft pick could make it to the big leagues as soon as next year.

Zyhir Hope Stuffs the Stat Sheet on Wednesday

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope went 3-for-5 with two RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base on Wednesday for High-A Great Lakes. The former 11th-round draft pick is coming off a strong showing in 2024, and together with the start he got off to this season, he shot up MLB.com's latest prospect rankings 21 spots to No. 45 overall. The Dodgers' third-ranked prospect is riding a six-game hit streak, during which time he's gone 10-for-24 (.417), pushing his season-long slash line to .300/.383/.506 with seven home runs (second-most in the Midwest League) and five steals through 46 games. Look for a promotion to Double-A in the coming weeks, and with good hit, power, and run tools, he'll be a future fantasy producer, so dynasty managers should be paying close attention to his progress.
