Zyhir Hope Hits Two Home Runs On Friday

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope went 2-for-4 with two home runs during their contest against High-A Great Lakes. Hope would hit his first home run against former No. 2 overall pick, Chase Burns. Through his first 13 games at the High-A level, Hope has looked quite comfortable as he has posted a strong .363/.450/.706 slash line with four doubles and four home runs. He has swiped four bases, tallied 17 RBI, and scored nine runs. Last summer, the 20-year-old spent most of his time with Low-A. He began the campaign in the Rookie league but needed just seven games to earn the call to Low-A Rancho. At Low-A, the former 11th-round selection has posted a .287/.415/.490 slash line with 14 doubles and nine round-trippers. Hope is a budding star in the Dodger system but remains several seasons away from his MLB debut.

Zyhir Hope Sent To Minor-League Camp

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope was sent to minor-league camp. Hope went 4-for-19 with a double and home run during his brief taste of spring training. He held a 1:6 BB:K ratio. Dynasty managers should expect Hope to compete to begin the season at the High-A level. Last summer, the 20-year-old received his first look at Single-A. Across 54 games, Hope posted a promising. 287/.415/.490 slash line with 14 doubles, nine home runs, and eight stolen bases. Across 18 games in the Rookie League, the former 11th-round selection posted a 296/.433/.500 slash line with two doubles, three home runs, and a strong 12:15 BB:K ratio. Hope is a budding prospect in the Dodger system that could see time in the upper levels of the minor leagues this season. If he can carry this level of play into High-A, he could see his prospect stock increase significantly by the end of the season.

Zyhir Hope Showing Power In Spring Training

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope has hit a double and a home run across his first four spring training contests. He has held a .250/.333/.750 line. On Saturday afternoon, Hope launched a solo shot to the opposite field against the Kansas City Royals. While fantasy managers should not expect Hope to make his MLB debut for several seasons, he is developing into one of the top prospects in the Dodger system. MLB Pipeline ranks Hope as the No. 11 prospect in the system. The 20-year-old was selected in the 11th round of the 2023 MLB Draft. He was given a brief look in the Rookie League that season and held a .286/.419/.543 line across 11 games. Last summer, Hope spent most of the season with Single-A, where he held a .287/.415/.490 across 54 contests. If he continues to perform well in spring training, he may open the season with High-A.

Zyhir Hope Invited To Spring Training

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that outfield prospect Zyhir Hope will be in major-league spring training as a non-roster invitee this year. Hope hit .290/.419/.484 with a .903 OPS, nine home runs, 36 RBI, nine stolen bases and 46 runs scored in 61 games in the Arizona Complex League and at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga in 2024 and also impressed in the Arizona Fall League, making him a potential breakout candidate in the minors for the Dodgers in 2025. The 20-year-old has displayed elite exit velocities, makes plenty of contact and has plus speed. Because of the Dodgers' stacked MLB roster, it's unlikely Hope will make his debut in the big leagues in 2025, but he could begin the campaign at Double-A and move quickly up to Triple-A before long. He's extremely strong despite his 5-foot-10, 193-pound frame, and fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues should already be familiar with him.

Zyhir Hope Making Strong Impression

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Zyhir Hope is a terrific athlete with decent contact skills and impressive power. Defensively, he's capable of putting on a show with his elite speed, a cannon of an arm, and strong glovework. This analysis may portray Hope as a glove-first player, and while that's not necessarily false, his offensive capabilities should not be ignored. The 19-year-old went 5-for-12 with three homers, five RBI, three walks, and three strikeouts during the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes' opening series last weekend. He also stole a base.
