Elic Ayomanor Seeing Plenty of First-Team Reps

Despite not recording a catch, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor was highly involved in the team's 19-13 preseason victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Of 22 first-team snaps, Ayomanor played 16/22, tying rookie Carnell Tate (16) and trailing only Wan'Dale Robinson (17). The second-year receiver played more snaps than veteran Calvin Ridley (7), who played the first drive, then didn't return, and fellow second-year wideout Chimere Dike (5). Training camp headlines said Ayomanor and Ridley were splitting first-team reps, but Ayomanor was far more of a factor than expected. While he may not be draftable in 2026, the Titans' lead wide receiver from the 2025 season is expected to be a piece of their new offense this season.

Elic Ayomanor Good to Go After Suffering Shoulder Injury on Thursday

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor (shoulder) will participate in Friday night's scrimmage after leaving practice early Thursday. Ayomanor walked off with a trainer during practice Thursday, holding his left shoulder. Head coach Robert Saleh said, "It feels stable, but we'll get more information later." Now that he's good to go, the rising star hopes to remain a key part of the Titans' camp. The second-year receiver had 515 yards and four touchdowns in his rookie year and is currently competing with veteran Calvin Ridley for the WR3 role. If Ayomanor can win that battle against Ridley, he could flirt with being a late-round draft pick in most fantasy formats.

Elic Ayomanor Suffers Shoulder Injury on Thursday

Tennessee Titans second-year wide receiver Elic Ayomanor (shoulder) left practice with a trainer on Thursday due to a left-shoulder injury and did not return, according to Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com. The severity of Ayomanor's shoulder injury is unclear, but we'll consider him day-to-day until we have more information. The 23-year-old former fourth-rounder last year from Stanford had plenty of opportunities as a rookie and caught 41 of his 89 targets for 515 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games played. The efficiency definitely wasn't there, but he was hardly to blame for all of it while working with rookie QB Cam Ward in an inconsistent offense. Going into Year 2, it's going to be hard for Ayomanor to stand out after the Titans added rookie first-rounder Carnell Tate and Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency to new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll's scheme. If he's healthy entering Week 1, Ayomanor is expected to be competing with fellow second-year wideout Chimere Dike for the WR4 role behind Tate, Robinson, and veteran Calvin Ridley.

Elic Ayomanor "Continues to Impress" in Training Camp

Tennessee Titans second-year wide receiver Elic Ayomanor "continues to impress" in the early portion of training camp, making a nice catch from quarterback Mitchell Trubisky over Joshua Williams in practice on Saturday, according to Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com. Ayomanor showed some flashes with the Titans as a rookie in 2025, catching 41 of his 89 targets for 515 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games after the team selected him in the fourth round from Stanford. The 23-year-old wasn't consistent enough to be worth a roster spot in the majority of redraft fantasy leagues last year, though, and his path to a bigger role on offense in Year 2 is a difficult one after the Titans drafted Carnell Tate in the first round and signed Wan'Dale Robinson to a big free-agent deal. RotoBaller currently has Ayomanor ranked as the No. 108 fantasy WR for 2026, meaning he should go undrafted again in most fantasy leagues this fall. Ayomanor figures to be battling for the WR4 role with Chimere Dike behind Tate, Robinson, and veteran Calvin Ridley.

Elic Ayomanor Faces a Tougher Path to a Second-Year Breakout

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor earned real playing time as a rookie, which is why he should not be written off after one offseason. He started 14 games, played 787 offensive snaps, and drew 89 targets. The result was 41 catches for 515 yards and four touchdowns. That is a useful foundation for a fourth-round pick, even if a 46.1% catch rate and 5.8 yards per target show how little of the volume became dependable production. Tennessee then made the room much harder to climb. Carnell Tate arrived as the fourth overall pick, Wan'Dale Robinson signed in free agency, and Calvin Ridley and Chimere Dike remain in the picture. Ayomanor flashed during spring work, but Robinson and Dike finished with more momentum, while Xavier Restrepo led the open practices in catches. Ayomanor is only 23 and already has a full season of NFL routes behind him. That keeps him rosterable. It does not make him a buy. Contenders cannot count on a weekly role, and rebuilders should wait through camp rather than pay for a breakout that now requires several things to break right.

Elic Ayomanor Carries Dynasty Sell-High Appeal into 2026

A fourth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor recorded 41 receptions for 515 yards and four touchdowns on 89 targets across 16 games as a rookie. While Ayomanor operated with subpar quarterback play from Cam Ward, he had the advantage of being one of Ward's top targets for much of the year. Entering 2026, the Titans have a much stronger pass-catching corps. The team signed wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency, selected wide receiver Carnell Tate fourth overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, and should get more out of veteran wideout Calvin Ridley, who missed 10 games in 2025. As a result, Ayomanor could see a significantly diminished role in 2026 and beyond. In dynasty formats, managers may want to explore selling high on the second-year wideout.

Is Elic Ayomanor Still Worthy of a Dynasty Roster Spot?

A fourth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor hauled in 41 catches for 515 yards and five touchdowns on 89 targets across 16 games as a rookie. Particularly with veteran Titans wideout Calvin Ridley limited to just seven games played due to injury, Ayomanor saw extended playing time in Tennessee. However, his place on the depth chart is far less certain entering 2026. The Titans signed wideout Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency, drafted Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate fourth overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, and re-worked Ridley's contract to keep him around for 2026. Ayomanor may even be behind fellow 2025 fourth-rounder Chimere Dike, who impressed with his versatility as a rookie. As a big-bodied ball-winner on the outside, Ayomanor retains some long-term upside. However, his dynasty stock has fallen considerably in the wake of Tennessee's offseason.

Offseason Additions Hurt Elic Ayomanor's Dynasty Outlook

In another lost season for the Tennessee Titans in 2025, fourth-round rookie wide receiver Elic Ayomanor saw plenty of opportunities and finished as the team's second-leading receiver with 41 catches on his 89 targets for 515 yards and four touchdowns across 16 games (14 starts). The 22-year-old out of Stanford wasn't very efficient, though, with a catch rate of 46.1% and plenty of drops in an inconsistent offense led by rookie quarterback Cameron Ward. While Ayomanor's first year in the league has to be considered a success after he was drafted in the fourth round, he's unlikely to get as many chances to produce going forward as he did last season, considering Tennessee's offseason additions at the wideout position. The Titans added target hog Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency and drafted former Ohio State star pass-catcher Carnell Tate with the fourth overall pick. Veteran Calvin Ridley (leg) is still on the roster, and second-year tight end Gunnar Helm is also expected to have an expanded role in the passing game. Oh, and there's also fellow second-year receiver Chimere Dike to compete with. It's going to be difficult for Ayomanor to rise above his rookie production going forward in Tennessee. RotoBaller has him ranked just inside the top-100 dynasty WRs at No. 92.

Elic Ayomanor's Dynasty Stock Way Down After NFL Draft

As a fourth-round rookie in 2025, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor led the team in targets and receiving touchdowns, but his competition heading into Year 2 figures to be significantly stiffer. After spending $38 million in guarantees to acquire former Giants receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (fresh off back-to-back 90+ reception campaigns), the Titans produced one of the NFL Draft's early surprises by selecting Ohio State prospect Carnell Tate with the fourth overall pick. Tate figures to slot in as a day one starter, and, given the investment and his familiarity with new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, Robinson is likely to become his primary running mate in two-receiver sets. That leaves Ayomanor, eight-year veteran Calvin Ridley, and special teams maven Chimere Dike to split reps when the team turns to 11 personnel. With both Ayomanor and Tate profiling as prototypical boundary receivers, it could be Ridley who finds an easier path to playing time after leading the team in both targets and yards before a broken fibula ended his season prematurely. Following a WR51 finish in his rookie season, the soon-to-be-23-year-old Ayomanor has fallen to WR79 in RotoBaller's dynasty rankings.

Elic Ayomanor Should Benefit from Improved Quarterback Play

Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor drew a respectable 17% target share as a rookie in 2025, with his 86 total targets leading a Tennessee team that saw no pass catcher reach 60 receptions, 600 yards, or five touchdowns. While the group as a whole lacked obvious star power, especially after Calvin Ridley was lost for the season to a broken fibula, the inefficient quarterback play of rookie Cam Ward did them no favors. Ward ranked near the bottom of the league in most passing efficiency metrics, while Ayomanor was held back by one of the highest rates of uncatchable targets among all pass catchers. The silver lining for Ayomanor is that Ward showed marked improvement over the second half of the season, raising his completion percentage and throwing 10 of his 15 touchdowns over his final seven full games. The Titans also welcome new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, whose history of elevating quarterback play should have a direct impact on Ayomanor's ability to take a second-season leap.
