Kylen Granson News
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson caught two of his three targets for 17 yards in the team's preseason win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Granson's third and final target came from quarterback Anthony Richardson and was intercepted for a pick-six by Cincinnati. Granson played alongside all of Indy's starters in the first and second quarters, indicating that he has locked up the job as TE1 for the Colts this season. While it's unlikely that the volume in the Colts' passing attack this season can propel Granson into fantasy relevance, fantasy managers can consider him a streaming option with a chance to be upgraded, depending on how he is utilized.

Kylen Granson Has Early Lead For Starter
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson has reportedly been impressive early on in camp. It looks like the Colts are having an open tryout for starting tight end with no real standalone star in the picture. At the moment, Granson has appeared to take an early lead in the running for starter, but there's still plenty of time left in camp. Mo Alie-Cox and Jelani Woods are also candidates, but they appear to offer a little less upside. Over the last two seasons, Granson has hauled in 30-plus receptions and 300 or more receiving yards in both campaigns. His fantasy value is going to be dependent on how the Colts decide to use the tight end position next season.

Kylen Granson Leads Way With 62 Yards In Week 16 Loss
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson led the team when he reeled in five of his seven targets for 62 yards in the team's 29-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Indy found themselves struggling to move the ball in this one, and with wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (concussion) out, Granson was able to step up and see some additional volume. The Colts have shuffled around numerous tight ends this season, so it's unclear if Granson's volume will continue moving forward. The former SMU Mustang may be an interesting waiver wire pickup in Week 17 but isn't a sure-fire option for the team's next matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kylen Granson To Return In Week 9
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson (concussion) was a full participant in practice all week and was removed from the final Week 9 injury report on Friday. Granson has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will return to the field for the Colts after missing the last two contests. The 25-year-old's return is bad news for Drew Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox, but neither of the two were realistic fantasy streaming options at the position the last two weeks anyway. Granson has 16 catches on 26 targets for 170 yards and one touchdown so far this year. He's probably the best bet for fantasy production in the Colts' tight end committee, but fantasy managers should be able to find better TE2 streaming options in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.

Kylen Granson Looks To Be Past Concussion
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson (concussion) was listed as a full practice participant on Wednesday. Granson has missed the Colts' last two games while being in the league's concussion protocol. The 25-year-old hasn't officially been cleared, but the fact he was listed as a full participant in the first official practice of the week is a good sign he'll be able to gain clearance in order to return to action in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers. Drew Ogletree scored a touchdown and benefitted from Granson's absence in the Week 8 loss to the New Orleans Saints with more playing time. If Granson is able to play this weekend, he'll continue to share work with Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox. Fantasy managers should be avoiding the Colts' TE situation in most leagues.

Kylen Granson Ruled Out For Week 8
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of the Week 8 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Granson will miss his second straight game as he remains in concussion protocol. When healthy, Granson hasn't been a reliable option given the Colts are using a tight end by committee approach right now. The absence of Granson should mean more playing time for Mo Alie-Cox and AnDrew Ogletree. Neither of them are reliable fantasy options for this upcoming matchup.

Kylen Granson Ruled Out Against Browns
The Indianapolis Colts have ruled out tight end Kylen Granson (concussion) for their Week 7 game this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Granson came down with a concussion in the Week 6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, didn't practice all week and will miss the game against Cleveland while he attempts to get through the league's concussion protocol so that he can play in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints. The tight end position in Indy's offense hasn't been profitable from a fantasy perspective so far this year, so you should continue to stay away with Granson out. Some combination of Drew Ogletree, Mo Alie-Cox and Will Mallory will see additional snaps this weekend, with Alie-Cox probably being the best touchdown-dependent desperation streamer in deeper fantasy leagues.

Kylen Granson Not Seen At Practice
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson (concussion) wasn't seen at practice on Thursday for the second straight day. Granson remains in the league's concussion protocol and is looking unlikely at this time to suit up in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns. The 25-year-old is going to need to return to at least a limited practice on Friday to have a shot at playing this Sunday. Even when healthy, Granson has been more of a desperation TE2 streamer for fantasy managers, catching 16 passes for 170 yards and one touchdown through the first six weeks of the 2023 campaign. If he doesn't get the green light, Drew Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox will have bigger roles sharing the pass-catching duties for the Colts in a tough matchup against Cleveland.

Kylen Granson Doesn’t Practice Wednesday
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson (concussion) did not practice with the team on Wednesday. This was likely expected after Granson was placed in the concussion protocol following the Colts' 37-20 loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. The tight end will need to complete the five-step concussion protocol in order to play in Week 7, which remains highly unlikely. The 25-year-old playmaker is in jeopardy of missing his first game of the season against the Cleveland Browns. However, he likely isn't on fantasy radars except in tight end premium leagues.

Kylen Granson In Concussion Protocol
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol, according to head coach Shane Steichen. The 25-year-old had a semi-productive day in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching four passes on six targets for 39 yards. However, there's a chance he could miss the Week 7 contest against the Cleveland Browns. Granson is not on the fantasy radar except in deep tight end premium leagues, but his potential absence could mean more targets for Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs. That said, all Colts players will be in a tough spot against arguably the best defense in the NFL on Sunday.
