Kylen Granson News
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson isn't a lock for the 53-man roster, according to Zac Keefer of The Athletic. The former fourth round pick didn't have a ton of success last season. He hauled in 31 receptions for 302 yards in 13 games (four starts) for the Colts this past season. To be fair, Granson hauled in 31 of his 40 total targets, so he appears to be a reliable pass-catcher, but didn't do much after making the catch. It sounds like Granson will have to earn his spot on the roster coming into camp. He'll compete with Mo Alie-Cox, Jelani Woods, and recently drafted Will Mallory for a spot on the roster this upcoming season.
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin (concussion) and tight end Kylen Granson (ankle) have been ruled out for Week 17 against the New York Giants. Dulin suffered a head injury on Monday night on the same play that got Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James ejected from the contest. The 25-year-old has been well off the fantasy radar in 2022 in Indy's anemic offense, recording 15 catches for 207 yards and a touchdown on 22 targets over 11 games. Granson is missing his second straight game. As such, Jelani Woods has a prime opportunity to make some noise after leading the team with 43 receiving yards on three catches in his first start of the year in Week 16. Still, with quarterback Nick Foles running the show, fantasy managers can find better streaming options at TE.
Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson (illness) is officially inactive for Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Granson was unable to practice all of last week and was listed as doubtful for Week 12. Defensive end Kwity Paye (ankle) also missed practice last week and has been ruled out. With Granson sidelined for this contest, Mo Alie-Cox and Jelani Woods should split most of the tight end snaps for the Colts against Pittsburgh. The 24-year-old Granson will hope to make his return in Week 13 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. None of Indy's tight ends are particularly attractive in fantasy as anything more as a touchdown-dependent TE2 in deeper leagues. Granson has 25 catches on 32 targets for 249 yards and no touchdowns in 11 games this year.
