Peter Skoronski Likely To Serve As Interior Offensive Lineman
Tennessee Titans rookie offensive lineman Peter Skoronski saw valuable repetitions in offseason practices against Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. Skoronski already stepped into the starting lineup at left guard, which is a position he hasn't played since he was in the sixth grade, and the Titans have also given him snaps at left tackle this offseason. However, he'll likely serve as an interior lineman in his first year in the NFL in 2023. "He's a guy that we think can play any position up front," offensive line coach Jason Houghtaling said. "He's continuing to hone in. It doesn't really matter what the position is. It's just getting the skill set and trying to perfect his craft."
The Titans took Northwestern offensive tackle Peter Skoronski with the No. 11 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. At 6'4'', 313 lbs, the 21-year-old is coming off an efficient collegiate career and is considered ready to go right out the gate heading into the 2023-24 campaign. Skoronski will help bolster an offensive line that needed an upgrade, especially with issues surrounding the quarterback spot.
