Xavier Restrepo in Line for More Playing Time Going Forward?

After spending the first 11 weeks of the 2025 season on the Tennessee Titans' practice squad, rookie wide receiver Xavier Restrepo finally made his NFL debut in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks. The 23-year-old earned six targets from Titans quarterback Cameron Ward and hauled in two receptions for 26 yards. Restrepo's path to game action was aided by injuries to Titans wideouts Calvin Ridley (leg) and Elic Ayomanor (hamstring). Ridley will miss the rest of the season, while Ayomanor could return as soon as Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, if Ayomanor remains sidelined, Restrepo could have another chance to prove himself against Jacksonville. While fantasy managers will need Restrepo to play more than the 19 offensive snaps he played in Week 12, in some ways, it's encouraging that he was able to log six targets despite the limited playing time. Restrepo can't be trusted as a fantasy starter yet, but he could be worth monitoring for deep-league fantasy managers if the wide receiver injuries in Tennessee persist.

Xavier Restrepo Will Be Active For Titans in Week 12

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Xavier Restrepo will be active for Sunday's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, according to Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com. Restrepo will make his NFL debut after being on the practice squad for the first 11 weeks of the season. He will get his first opportunity as a result of Calvin Ridley (leg) being out for the season and rookie Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) being ruled out for Week 12. The undrafted free agent out of the University of Miami will look to make an impact as he takes the field with his college quarterback, Cameron Ward. Restrepo had a monster final season at Miami with Ward, leading the ACC with 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns and being named a first-team All-American. It remains to be seen how much playing time the rookie will see on Sunday, but he is an intriguing stash candidate in deeper formats and dynasty leagues.

Xavier Restrepo Has A Chance to Be Activated This Week

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Xavier Restrepo could be elevated from the practice squad this week. The undrafted free agent out of Miami has prior chemistry with Titans quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward, generating plenty of buzz during training camp. While Restrepo initially landed on the practice squad, an injury to wideout Bryce Oliver (knee) has opened the door for him to see game action against the Indianapolis Colts. If Restrepo can translate his rapport with Ward onto the field, he could work his way into a larger role and become a name to monitor for fantasy managers later in the season.

Xavier Restrepo Still Has Dynasty Value Despite Being Cut

Tennessee Titans practice squad wide receiver Xavier Restrepo remains an intriguing stash in deeper dynasty leagues. Although Restrepo didn't make the Titans' 53-man roster, there are still reasons to be optimistic about his future in Tennessee. First of all, he was a priority target for the Titans as they filled out their practice squad, which means that the front office can still envision him making an impact even though he wasn't selected for the initial roster. Additionally, he has a strong rapport with quarterback Cam Ward, as they were teammates in college. Finally, Tennessee's wide receiver depth is incredibly thin, which means there may be opportunities for non-roster players to step up. Tyler Lockett is likely headed for retirement within the next couple of years, neither Bryce Oliver nor Van Jefferson is a major offensive threat, and rookies Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor both have lower draft capital attached to them after being Day 3 picks. Any Titan receiver not named Calvin Ridley could be replaceable, so Restrepo will have chances to leapfrog other players on the depth chart and earn an elevation to the active roster. Of course, once he gets there, he'll still have to produce. However, at the minimum, there's enough to like about his landing spot to justify stashing him in dynasty leagues. The worst-case scenario is that you cut him mid-season, and that's a risk every fantasy manager can afford to take.

Xavier Restrepo Added to Titans Practice Squad

The Tennessee Titans signed wide receiver Xavier Restrepo to their practice squad after the rookie failed to make the team's initial 53-man roster. Restrepo, who signed with Tennessee as an undrafted free agent in April, appeared in three preseason contests and logged three receptions for 26 yards on six targets. He could eventually reunite on the field with his college quarterback, Cameron Ward, but the 23-year-old still needs to prove he's NFL-ready. It's worth noting that the Titans lack established receiving options outside of Calvin Ridley and Tyler Lockett, but rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike did make the roster heading into Week 1. For now, Restrepo should be viewed strictly as a deep dynasty stash.

Xavier Restrepo on the Bubble to Make the Titans Roster

Justin Melo of Broadway Sports reports that Titan's wide receiver Xavier Restrepo is on the bubble to make the 53-man roster for the Tennessee Titans. In three preseason games, he had three receptions for 26 receiving yards and no touchdowns. Restrepo was added as an undrafted free agent after he was a teammate of Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward at the University of Miami, and was his top target. In 2024, during his final season, he recorded 69 catches for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning consensus All-America First-Team honors. The Titans currently have Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, and Van Jefferson ahead of him on the depth chart, and he is currently battling it out with Elic Ayomanor, James Proche II, and Chimere Dike.

Xavier Restrepo One to Watch Going into Training Camp

TennesseeTitans.com's Jim Wyatt highlights rookie wide receiver Xavier Restrepo as a player to watch heading into training camp this summer. Restrepo was added as an undrafted free agent after he was a teammate of quarterback Cam Ward at the University of Miami. The 23-year-old is a fierce competitor who looked comfortable in spring practices. Wyatt writes that Restrepo's 11 catches led all receivers during the five open practices to the media this offseason. If he continues to play that well during camp, the Titans may find it hard to cut him from the active roster going into the regular season. Restrepo had 1,000 yards receiving in his final two seasons with the Hurricanes. He's merely one to watch because of his chemistry with Ward, but he's not an exceptional athlete and is going to face an uphill battle for a roster spot.

Xavier Restrepo Training With Star Wideouts

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Xavier Restrepo is working out with NFL star pass-catchers Ja'Marr Chase, Tyreek Hill, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and more at Chad Johnson's Wideout Workshop this week. The undrafted free agent out of Miami has impressed this offseason while catching passes from his college quarterback, Cam Ward, and learning from some of the best in the business can't hurt his chances to succeed. The 23-year-old logged back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons to end his Hurricanes career, but his poor NFL Combine performance led to him going undrafted. While any UDFA has an uphill battle to make a 53-man roster, having previous chemistry with Ward gives him a leg up, and the Titans' wideout room is arguably the worst in the NFL behind Calvin Ridley.

Xavier Restrepo Has "Uphill Climb" To Make Active Roster

Rookie wide receiver Xavier Restrepo signed with the Tennessee Titans after going unselected in the 2025 NFL Draft, and he has reportedly had a strong start to practice. The 23-year-old was quarterback Cam Ward's No. 1 wide receiver last season at Miami and tallied 69 receptions for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns. His chemistry with Ward has been evident early, and he's looked like the best rookie wide receiver on the field, but Titans insider Easton Freeze writes, "it's still an uphill climb" for Restrepo to make the team's 53-man roster. "He was a UDFA, not a 4th-round pick like Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor," Freeze wrote. "He's situated to shine this time of year, with a practice-friendly skillset and built-in chemistry with Cam Ward. And his biggest obstacle to making this team is his lack of versatility as a slot-only receiver who doesn't offer much on special teams." While Restrepo is gaining buzz as a potential undrafted steal, expectations should continue to be tempered, as he has a lot working against him.

Xavier Restrepo Reunites With Cam Ward In Tennessee

The Tennessee Titans have signed former Miami Hurricane wide receiver Xavier Restrepo as an undrafted free agent, reuniting him with his college quarterback and first-overall pick Cam Ward. Ward was reportedly a "major advocate" for the wideout, and the two will now get an opportunity to take their collegiate connection to the NFL field. Restrepo spent five seasons in Miami, but didn't break out until 2023 when he recorded an 85/1,092/6 line in 13 games. With the arrival of Ward the following season, the 23-year-old upped his TD total to 11, while notching more yards (1,127) and YPC (16.3) -- leading the Canes in every significant statistical category for pass-catchers. Whether he'll make his way onto the field in three WR sets remains to be seen. However, outside of teammates Calvin Ridley and Tyler Lockett, his other target competition isn't too daunting.
