Isaiah Oliver Fantasy Stats

The San Francisco 49ers agreed to terms on an undisclosed two-year deal with free-agent cornerback Isaiah Oliver on Wednesday, according to a source. The second-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in 2018 will head to the Bay Area after spending the last five years in Atlanta. Oliver was limited to 16 games in the last two years combined due to a torn right ACL that he suffered in 2021, but he has played well in the slot and should have a chance to compete with Sam Womack in San Fran. He played well in 2022 despite seeing action in only 12 games (five starts), recording 37 tackles (25 solo), one sack, one interception and seven passes defensed.

Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith isn't giving a timetable for the return of cornerback Isaiah Oliver (knee), but Smith did say that Oliver is working extremely hard to get back. The 25-year-old underwent surgery after suffering a season-ending knee injury last October, and he hasn't been able to practice with the team this spring. Oliver was only able to play in four games for the Falcons last year before his injury, and he had 11 tackles (seven solo), three passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. The former second-round pick in 2018 out of Colorado has 166 tackles (128 solo), four tackles for loss, four QB hits, one sack, one interception, 27 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in his four NFL seasons with Atlanta.
