Chandler Zavala Fantasy Stats

The Carolina Panthers opened offensive guard Chandler Zavala's (calf) 21-day practice window on Tuesday, according to Darin Gantt of Panthers.com. Zavala was placed on Injured Reserve on Nov. 29 with a calf injury, his second time on IR in 2025 after originally going on IR in Week 5 due to a knee injury. Zavala started three games for the Panthers after recovering from his knee injury before hurting his calf and going back on the shelf. The 26-year-old offensive lineman can be activated from IR at any time, but it remains to be seen if that will happen before the team's Wild-Card playoff game this Saturday against the visiting Los Angeles Rams. Before injuring his calf, Zavala was starting at right guard for Carolina. With Zavala out, Austin Corbett has started the last four games at the position. Zavala hasn't played since Week 12.

Carolina Panthers rookie offensive guard Chandler Zavala (neck) had a scary situation in the first half of the Week 5 game against the Detroit Lions when he went down with a neck injury. Zavala had to be carted off and will not return to the contest. The 24-year-old will be taken to a local hospital, but the good news is that he gave a thumbs up as he was being carted off the field in Detroit. Hopefully, Zavala is able to avoid a serious injury that would knock him out for an extended period of time. As of right now, he's probably a long shot to be able to play in Week 6 on the road in Miami against the Dolphins on Sunday, Oct. 15.
