Noah Fant Remains Tough to Trust in Week 12

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant has enjoyed an uptick in production of late. He scored a touchdown in two of his previous four appearances. The 28-year-old is also coming off his second five-catch game of the season. With that said, Mike Gesicki (pectoral) was activated from the Injured Reserve list and is set to make his return for Sunday's matchup with the Patriots. With Ja'Marr Chase sidelined for that one in order to serve a one-game suspension, there will be additional targets up for grabs behind Tee Higgins. Although Gesicki is reportedly in line for a more prominent role in Week 12, it appears Fant has a good thing going with Joe Flacco, meaning the duo may continue to connect. While Gesicki's presence significantly lowers Fants' ceiling, it's hard to imagine he'll go away completely, giving him some upside for desperate, deep-league fantasy managers.

Noah Fant a Desperation Streaming Option in Week 11

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant has had a small uptick in fantasy production of late. While the volume hasn't been there, the veteran has at least found the end zone in two of the Bengals' previous three contests. With Mike Gesicki (pectoral) still on the shelf, Fant remains the favorite to stay the team's go-to tight end for Joe Flacco (shoulder), at least for the next few games. However, that doesn't mean Fant is a starting fantasy option for the Week 11 meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers, although he can be viewed as a dart-throw streamer for those participating in deep league, multi-tight end formats.

Noah Fant Emerging as a Red-Zone Threat in Cincinnati

Before a Week 10 bye, Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant had begun to emerge as a more consistent feature of his team's passing game. In his final three games played before the bye, Fant recorded nine catches for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 10 targets. In Week 11, the Bengals will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Fant arguably had his best game of the season in Week 7 against Pittsburgh, hauling in four catches for 44 yards and a score. If the Week 11 matchup between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh proves to be another shootout, Fant could have an opportunity to find the end zone again. In deep fantasy leagues, Fant could be a decent streaming option for managers navigating injuries at the tight end position.

Noah Fant Emerging As Fantasy Option at Tight End?

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant caught two of his three targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in a thrilling 47-42 loss against the Chicago Bears in Week 9. Fant caught his third touchdown of the season and has now recorded multiple receptions in four straight games. Fant had little involvement in this game despite it being one of the highest scoring games we will see all season. Since posting a season high 73.5% route share in Week 7, the 27-year-old has dipped to 33.3% and 44% in each of the past two weeks. The targets in Cincinnati's offense are heavily consolidated around the top two wideouts in Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase, and with Fant's route share being limited in back-to-back games, fantasy managers should likely look elsewhere if searching for a streamer at tight end for Week 10.

Noah Fant Still Hard to Trust in Week 8

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant finished the Week 7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers by catching all four targets for 44 yards. He also scored a touchdown, his first visit to the end zone since the Week 1 meeting with the Cleveland Browns. With Mike Gesicki (pectoral) out of commission and sitting on the Injured Reserve list, Fant should continue to see the most snaps at the position for the foreseeable future. The Bengals offense looked fantastic in Week 7, totaling 33 points. However, even if Joe Flacco and company stay as hot in the Week 8 encounter with the New York Jets, Fant is still hard to trust as long as Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are in the equation. As result, the 27-year-old should be viewed as nothing more than a risky streaming option for managers in all fantasy formats.

Noah Fant Catches Touchdown in Win Thursday Against Steelers

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant caught all four of his targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Thursday night's 33-31 win over the Steelers. Fant expectedly played his highest snap share of the season so far (68.4%) with top tight ends Mike Gesicki (pectoral) and Tanner Hudson (concussion) both ruled out for this game. The 27-year-old capitalized on a Pittsburgh defense that has struggled against tight ends, finding the end zone for the first time since Week 1 and recording a season-high in receiving yards. The Bengals' offense looked much improved with newly acquired Joe Flacco under center, putting Fant back into streamer consideration next week if he gets another start.

Is Noah Fant Worth a Look With Increased Role Coming on Thursday?

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant could see an uptick in usage following the injury to Mike Gesicki (pectoral). In his first season with the Bengals, Fant has caught 16 of 18 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown through five games but has been held back by the team's tight end committee, playing only 35% of the offensive snaps. With Gesicki now on injured reserve, Fant's snap share should increase, though Tanner Hudson may also see expanded involvement as well. The Week 7 matchup is an intriguing one, as the Pittsburgh Steelers have surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, including a breakout performance by rookie Harold Fannin Jr. in Week 6. While Fant remains too risky to start this week, he's a name to monitor moving forward if his role grows within the Bengals offense.

Noah Fant Still Off the Radar in Week 6

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant had four catches (five targets) for 26 yards in the Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns. He also had a touchdown in that one. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old hasn't done anything meaningful since then, catching eight passes for 54 yards. In Fant's defense, the entire offense hasn't looked the best, and it didn't matter whether it was Joe Burrow (toe) or Jake Browning under center. With the recently acquired Joe Flacco getting the start versus the Packers, it's unknown how his presence will impact the offense. However, until the offense can turn things around, Fant shouldn't be anywhere near a fantasy lineup. That will still apply if Ja'Marr Chase (illness) ends up getting ruled out in Week 6.

Noah Fant Will Play in Week 5

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that tight end Noah Fant (concussion) will play in Week 5 on Sunday against the visiting Detroit Lions, according to Jay Morrison of BengalsTalk.com. Fant suffered a concussion in the Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and did not get clearance to play in the Monday night loss to his former team, the Denver Broncos, in Week 4. He was able to return to practice this week, though, and he'll be available this weekend as the Bengals look to put an end to their two-game losing streak. Fant had a decent start to the year with 12 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets in his first three games, but he lacks any kind of real fantasy upside now that quarterback Joe Burrow (toe) is lost for most, if not all, of the 2025 season. Cincy should have a positive game script on Sunday versus Detroit, but Fant is a TE2 option to avoid.

Noah Fant Practices in Full on Thursday

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant (concussion) practiced in full on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday as he attempts to return from a concussion for his team's Week 5 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Fant has recorded 12 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets across three games so far in 2025. The Bengals' offense has struggled in the two full games it has played without Joe Burrow (toe), scoring a combined 13 points over the last two weeks against the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos. That could limit Fant's fantasy appeal even if he is healthy enough to play in Week 5.
