Puka Nacua Checks Into Rehab Facility

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has checked into a rehab facility. Per the star wide receiver's attorney, Levi McCathern, he has been in rehab for a "substantial period" before previous allegations of assault, and "he's scheduled to be there for a while longer." Earlier in the offseason, Nacua was accused of biting a woman in Los Angeles and had charges pressed against him. In these charges, the victim claimed Nacua made serious, vulgar, antisemitic remarks before biting her forcefully several times. While the wideout has denied all accusations regarding this incident, he is seeking additional help and support at this facility. Managers should continue to monitor this situation in the offseason, as a court hearing regarding this incident is scheduled for April 14.

Rams Want Puka Nacua to Stick Around for a "Really Long Time"

The Los Angeles Rams remain confident in star wide receiver Puka Nacua, who is in line for a lucrative contract extension, despite some poor judgment he has recently displayed off the field. "You guys know, I trust this kid's heart," head coach Sean McVay said. "This is an opportunity for him to learn and grow, and we are hopeful that he's a Ram for a really long time." The 24-year-old from BYU has turned out to be a major value pick for the Rams after they selected him in the fifth round (177th overall) in 2023. Nacua has quickly become one of the top receivers in the NFL after just three seasons, making the Pro Bowl twice and leading the league in 2025 in catches (129), while adding a career-high 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 regular-season games. He even outscored Jaxon Smith-Njigba in fantasy to take home the WR1 crown. Nacua has a ridiculous total of 313 catches, 4,191 yards, and 19 touchdowns in just 44 career games. He's the real deal and will be a first-round fantasy asset in 2026 redrafts.

Puka Nacua Accused of Biting a Woman, Making Antisemitic Remarks

Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua has been accused of biting a woman in Los Angeles and making antisemitic remarks. The alleged victim detailed the situation in an application for a temporary restraining order on the wide receiver. The victim claimed Nauca made serious vulgar remarks regarding the Jewish community and stated, "first act in what became an escalating course of rude or vulgar, threatening, violent, and harassing conduct." The woman then claimed Nacua "dropped his head into her lap and crotch area and bit her thumb so forcefully that she screamed in acute pain," while in a Sprinter van shortly after. Earlier in March, a mediation conference between both sides was offered, but Nacua's team threatened to contact "other press and media outlets" to "disseminate false, inaccurate, and/or deliberately exaggerated public statements about the events." During the 2025 regular season, Nacua apologized for making previous antisemitic remarks and gestures during a livestream. The 24-year-old wide receiver has denied all allegations of this incident. A judge in the Los Angeles area has also denied the women's request for a restraining order. A hearing is currently scheduled for April 14.

Extension for Puka Nacua isn't Expected Soon

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is now eligible for a contract extension, but the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo says that the expectation is that an extension for Nacua with the Rams "could take a while." Seattle Seahawks wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who was neck-and-neck with Nacua in 2025, for Offensive Player of the Year honors, just signed a four-year, $168.6 million extension on Monday, becoming the highest-paid receiver in NFL history. It might not be until later in the summer before we see any movement between the Rams and Nacua on a possible extension. The 24-year-old former fifth-rounder in 2023 out of BYU has quickly emerged as an elite fantasy football receiver in his three years in the NFL. In 2025, he was the WR1 in half-PPR scoring with a league-high 129 receptions for a career-high 1,715 yards and a career-high 10 touchdowns in 16 regular-season games played. Nacua now has already 4,191 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns on 313 catches in his first three NFL seasons. Contract situation aside, Nacua should be one of the first wideouts off the board in the first round of fantasy drafts this fall.

Puka Nacua Appears Poised to Dominate for Years to Come

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua took his game to new heights in 2025, recording 129 catches for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns on 166 targets across 16 games played. The 24-year-old led the NFL in receptions and receiving first downs despite missing a contest and is now the league's all-time leader in receiving yards per game (95.3). With the Rams' elite play-caller/quarterback combination of Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford likely back in the mix in Los Angeles in 2026, Nacua should be well-positioned for another monster season. There's little doubt that Nacua is a fantasy WR1, so the real question is where he ranks among the truly elite players at his position. In dynasty startups, Nacua's combination of age and proven production track record makes him a viable choice as the number one wide receiver off the board. If he can stay healthy, Nacua seems like a safe bet to be among the league leaders in PPR points per game every year for the remainder of the decade.

Should Puka Nacua Be the WR1 in Dynasty Startups?

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua finished as the WR1 in Half-PPR formats in 2025, and the 24-year-old wideout belongs in the conversation at the top of the position in dynasty startups. His 95.3 receiving yards per game since his record-breaking 2023 rookie campaign is the highest in NFL history, and with quarterback Matthew Stafford insinuating his return during NFL Honors, the Rams appear poised for another all-in title push in 2026. Nacua, Ja'Marr Chase, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba comprise the top tier at the position. While youth slightly favors Smith-Njigba, and long-term quarterback stability belongs to Chase, Nacua enters 2026 in the most favorable overall position and is the most likely to see his value rise throughout the season. While drafters can't go wrong with any of the three, Nacua makes sense at the top of the draft for those building both an instant contender or long-term juggernaut.

Puka Nacua Remains a High-End WR Despite Tough NFC Championship Matchup

By his own lofty standards, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was held in check by the Chicago Bears in the NFC Divisional Round, hauling in just five catches for 56 yards on 10 targets. Things may not get any easier for Nacua in the NFC Championship Game, as he will face one of the best pass defenses in the NFL in the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle finished the regular season ranked first in yards per pass attempt allowed (6.0) and fifth in interceptions (18). Still, Nacua remains an elite wide receiver option for fantasy managers. Dating back to the regular season, the 24-year-old has earned double-digit targets in seven straight contests, recording seven touchdowns in that span. Nacua also had success in the regular season against Seattle, recording a combined 19 catches for 300 yards and two touchdowns on 24 targets across two matchups. Even against a tough opponent, Nacua carries high-end upside at the wide receiver position. heading into the NFC Championship Game.

Puka Nacua Cools Off in Divisional Round

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua had some clutch catches to move the chains in Sunday's snowy Divisional Round win over the Chicago Bears, but he didn't exactly go off for fantasy managers in playoff leagues. Nacua caught five of his 10 targets for 56 yards while rushing the ball twice for six yards in the overtime victory. It was the 24-year-old's third-lowest yardage total of the year, and he failed to find the end zone for the first time since Dec. 14 against the Detroit Lions. Nacua had 10 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown in last week's Wild-Card win over the Carolina Panthers. He's one of the best all-around players in the NFL and will take on the division-rival Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship this Sunday. The last time he faced Seattle in Week 16, Nacua went off for 12 catches, a season-high 225 yards, and two touchdowns. Nacua will most likely bounce back against Seattle.

Puka Nacua Scores Twice in Narrow Wild-Card Win

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua caught 10 of 18 targets for 111 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's Wild Card win over the Carolina Panthers. He also had three carries, 14 rushing yards, and an additional rushing touchdown. Nacua's historic year continues; he has 139 catches, 1,826 receiving yards, 119 rushing yards, and 13 total touchdowns through 16 regular-season games and one playoff game. The BYU product is in the midst of the best season of his young career, and he has a very strong chance to win the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year award. He has developed a terrific rapport with MVP candidate Matthew Stafford while showing that he has no trouble co-existing with dependable veteran Davante Adams. He'll head into 2025 fantasy drafts as a consensus top-two receiver and top-four draft pick.
