Puka Nacua Wants To Retire At An Early Age

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua said on the "Join The Lobby" podcast that he would like to retire from the NFL at the age of 30. It would mean that the 23-year-old (24 in May) pass-catcher would have six or seven more years of football left in him. After being selected in the fifth round (177th overall) in 2023, Nacua has been lights-out his first two professional seasons with a combined 184 catches on 266 targets for 2,476 yards and nine touchdowns in 28 regular-season starts. Barring an injury, he should be an elite receiver in the NFL for years to come, especially now that Cooper Kupp is no longer in L.A. Nacua did miss five games in the first half of the 2025 campaign due to a knee injury, but on a per-game basis, he was even more productive for fantasy managers. Even with Davante Adams essentially replacing Kupp, Nacua should be a target hog and a strong WR1 target in fantasy drafts.

Puka Nacua Comes Up Just Short Of 100 Yards

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was heavily involved in the Rams' 28-22 loss to the Eagles. He was targeted a team-high 14 times and finished with six catches for 97 yards, including an acrobatic, sliding catch in the snow that will be part of his highlight reel for seasons to come. That catch kept the Rams potential game-winning drive alive, but they came up short in the red zone with under one minute left. Nacua established himself as one of the best fantasy receivers in the game after returning from his early season knee injury. He clearly became the go-to option in the Rams passing game and will be one of the top fantasy receivers going into next season.

Puka Nacua Continues To Be A Target Monster

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is the clear focus of the Rams' passing game and was targeted nine times on Monday Night Football when his Rams knocked off the Vikings 27-9. He has at least eight targets in each of his last nine games, and the only games this season in which he was targeted less was when he left early due to injury or ejection. Last week, he only had five catches for 44 yards, which was his lowest total for any full game this season. However, his high volume and big-play ability keep him a strong fantasy option against Philadelphia in the Divisional Round. He had nine catches on 13 targets for 117 yards against the Eagles in the regular season, and he'll likely have a good opportunity to post similar totals this week as long as the weather isn't too much of a factor. However, even if conditions are difficult, head coach Sean McVay will be able to find ways to get the ball into his hands since he's one of the team's top playmakers.

Puka Nacua Commands Nine Targets Against Minnesota

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua caught five of his nine targets for 44 yards during Monday's Wild Card win over the Minnesota Vikings. He also added a seven-yard rush. Nacua did lead the team in targets and tied for the most receptions, but his production was somewhat modest relative to some of his recent games. For context, he hadn't finished with fewer than 50 receiving yards in a single game since Week 9. Amidst his slightly less explosive showing on Monday night, Nacua still managed to show that he is Matthew Stafford's preferred option in the passing game. Not only did he fetch a team-most nine targets, but he was also far more involved than Cooper Kupp, who once again struggled to the tune of one catch for 29 yards through the air. Moving forward, Nacua is the top fantasy option in Los Angeles and an intriguing play ahead of next week's battle with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Puka Nacua Set For Primary Role In Great Matchup

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been outstanding this season and has managed to put up consistent numbers despite the offense bogging down the past few weeks. He'll likely be busy again on Monday Night Football as the Rams open their playoffs with a home game against the Vikings. The Vikings allowed the most fantasy points per game in the NFL this season to wide receivers, who scored 18 touchdowns and averaged over 180 receiving yards per week. Nacua will look to attack that matchup after racking up 990 receiving yards on 79 catches in just 11 games. He had at least seven catches in seven of his last eight games while averaging 104.8 yards per contest. Earlier in the season, he lit up the Vikings for seven catches on 106 yards and two touchdowns in Week 8. Nacua is a great play with both a high floor and a high ceiling in this matchup since he should have plenty of volume and space to work against Minnesota.

Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp Won't Play Against Seahawks

The Los Angeles Rams will sit wide receivers Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp in the Week 18 regular-season finale on Sunday at home against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Sean McVay. Even though the Rams could drop to the No. 4 seed in the NFC postseason picture with a loss coupled by a win by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the Rams are prioritizing rest for their key players on both sides of the ball. Without Nacua and Kupp on the field this weekend in the season finale, the Rams will likely be rolling with Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson and rookie Jordan Whittington in starting three-wide sets with backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo running the offense. Fantasy managers should obviously temper expectations for the Rams' offense without their best players, but Robinson could be a sneaky sleeper play in DFS lineups.

Puka Nacua Posts Strong Stats Against Arizona

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua continues to post big numbers even when the rest of the offense struggles. On Saturday night, Nacua hauled in 10 passes against the Cardinals for 129 yards on a team-high 14 targets. Nacua's line in the box score stands out even more when compared to the rest of the Rams' offense which couldn't get much going against the Cardinals. Matthew Stafford completed only 17 passes for 189 yards, meaning Nacua had 59% of the team's completions and 68% of the Rams' receiving yards. For the season, Nacua is up to 79 catches for 990 yards this season in just 11 games. He should reach 1,000 yards despite his injury-plagued campaign next week against the Seahawks in the regular season finale. However, he may have a reduced workload if the Rams clinch the division before kickoff, which could happen this Sunday depending on multiple results that impact their strength of schedule tiebreaker with Seattle.

Puka Nacua Remains A Top-Five WR

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua continues to establish himself as one of the top fantasy wide receivers on a weekly basis due to his heavy volume and high ceiling, regardless of game script. The former BYU Cougar has at least seven catches in six of his last seven games and has totaled 15 catches for 153 yards the last two weeks, even though the Rams have been in low-scoring run-heavy contests. Nacua has at least eight targets in every full game he has played this season and should be heavily involved as the Rams come home to face the Cardinals. He didn't face Arizona earlier this season, but the Cardinals have allowed four WR touchdowns in the last four weeks and an average of 144.1 receiving yards per game to the position. Nacua is RotoBaller's WR4 this week, making him a must-start in most formats on Saturday night.

Puka Nacua Stays Busy With Modest Stats Against New York

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua caught eight of his nine targets on Sunday in New York and led the team with 56 receiving yards. While that total isn't impressive overall, he did have 45.9% of Matthew Stafford's total of 110 passing yards on a down day for the Rams' offense in the cold. Nacua didn't get into the end zone or hit 100 receiving yards for the second straight week, but he continues to get enough receptions to remain a strong play in PPR leagues. He has totaled 861 yards on 69 catches in his 10 games this season. He and the Rams come home for matchups against the Cardinals and Seahawks to close out the season.

Puka Nacua Looking For Another Solid Outing Versus The Jets

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has missed time this season due to injury. However, he's been a quality wideout when healthy, as expected, catching 61 passes for 805 yards and three touchdowns in nine appearances. Although a few more end zone trips from the 23-year-old would be nice, fantasy managers are happy as long as he stays on the field. With the Rams currently sitting atop the NFC West, the team needs a win against the Jets in Week 16 to enhance their chances of earning a postseason berth. While the Jets defense can be a problem at times, that shouldn't keep Nacua out of any fantasy lineup on Sunday. Keep him starting.
