Rome Odunze Fantasy Stats

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze averaged 7.5 targets across 12 games last season but is down to 5.4 through seven outings in 2026. He has drawn only nine targets over his last two games combined, matching his Week 5 total by itself. That decline has come despite Odunze playing approximately 85% of Chicago's offensive snaps, suggesting the problem is where the passes are going rather than how often he is on the field. Luther Burden III leads the Bears with 47 targets, 35 catches, and 491 yards, while tight end Colston Loveland has drawn 42 targets, including 19 over the past two games. Odunze sits at 38 targets and has 24 catches for 381 yards, but has yet to score after finishing 2025 with six touchdowns. Burden's 130-yard touchdown performance against New England in Week 7 further illustrated the shifting passing-game hierarchy. At WR34 in RotoBaller's Week 8 rankings entering Monday's trip to Seattle, Odunze is a matchup-dependent flex option rather than a weekly lineup fixture.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is a viable fantasy play despite a stiff test against the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football. Odunze disappointed owners last week, picking up just three catches and 39 yards (four targets) in the Bears' 31-23 win over the Falcons. The results were undesirable, but Atlanta funneled much of Chicago's passing game to within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage, and even more of that to within five, rendering the 24-year-old ineffective. While it's becoming clear the team prioritizes teammate Luther Burden III when he's on the field, Odunze is the clear snap leader of the Bears' wideouts and ranks eleventh in the league with 163 routes run. Even a New England defense that's been stingy against opposing passing attacks hasn't been enough to shut down fantasy receivers completely. Furthermore, the Patriots have ruled out several players across their defensive backfield, and a 50.5-point over/under doesn't portend too poorly. Odunze is RotoBaller's PPR WR35 for Week 7.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze lines up for a dream Week 6 matchup against the hosting Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Odunze's snap share and target totals have increased with each passing game this season. However, it hasn't amounted to much in the box score for the University of Washington product, as he's averaged just 54.6 receiving yards per game. Odunze is talented, and his profile has some underlying positives, but he'll be nothing more than a volatile WR3 until proven otherwise. Fortunately, Chicago may get Caleb Williams (hamstring) back this Sunday, which would significantly boost the offense's skill players. Atlanta has been stout against the run in 2026, but it's a favorable unit to attack through the air, giving up the sixth-most yards per game (248.4). Moreover, they allow a decent amount of points (24.4). Odunze would obviously be in much better standing for fantasy with Williams at the helm. Still, his high-volume role at least makes him intriguing against softer opposition. The third-year wideout is RotoBaller's PPR WR34.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has struggled to produce to start the 2026 season. In five games, Odunze has caught 17 of 29 targets for 273 yards and no touchdowns, averaging just 6.8 half-PPR fantasy points per game. Despite his lack of production, his usage has been elite, with over 85% of snaps and route participation in four straight games. The situation is crowded, with Luther Burden III, Kalif Raymond, and Colston Loveland all taking targets away from Odunze. However, with their elite rushing attack and quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) missing the last three weeks, none of these weapons have produced fantasy-relevant numbers this season. With Williams gearing up for a return in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons, Odunze is in position to improve his production, but it's unclear whether he can, despite an elite workload.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is coming off his best output of the season in a win over the Jets, and now turns his sights to a beatable Green Bay Packers defense. Despite another quarterback change in Tyson Bagent last Sunday, Odunze led the team in receiving (94 yards) and caught six of seven passes. The former ninth-overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft is the clear snap leader of the WR corps and the only wideout to clear an 80% snap share (three) on the campaign. Consistency will be hard to come by with his talented teammates, but he's in an excellent spot in Week 5 with a vulnerable Packers defense on tap. Odunze is a talented receiver, but currently unstable for fantasy. Fortunately, he's a key cog on a high-powered offense. The 24-year-old is RotoBaller's PPR WR41 for the divisional clash.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has largely underperformed preseason expectations so far in 2026, recording 14 catches for 233 yards on 20 targets across four games. However, the 24-year-old is coming off his best game of the season in Week 4, hauling in six receptions for 94 yards on seven targets against the New York Jets. Week 4 was Chicago's first game with backup quarterback Tyson Bagent under center. Bagent is set to make another start in Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers, which could be a good thing for Odunze's production. Bears QB1 Caleb Williams (hamstring) should also be back from his hamstring injury within the next few weeks, which obviously raises the ceiling of Odunze and the rest of the Bears' pass-catchers. As the Bears offense gets healthier, Odunze could re-establish himself as a top-24 wide receiver for fantasy managers.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is a volatile flex option in this Sunday's home matchup against the New York Jets. Odunze has put a preseason calf issue behind him, but still faces hurdles in the way of targets. Heading into the year, it seemed that this offense would funnel opportunities through Odunze, fellow wideout Luther Burden III, and tight end Colston Loveland in the passing game. Quarterback Caleb Williams' (hamstring) injury aside, it's veteran wide receiver Kalif Raymond standing in the way of Odunze's increased production. As it stands, the third-year pass catcher leads his cohorts in snaps. However, he's very clearly the main downfield threat in the attack, making easier looks harder to come by. Odunze is a talented young receiver, but his current standing in an offense loaded with weapons leaves something to be desired. Despite a tough spot in the Jets this weekend, the 24-year-old lands favorably as RotoBaller's PPR WR38.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze didn't put up a huge game despite his team finding plenty of success against the visiting Eagles. With Case Keenum stepping in as the starting QB, Odunze caught three passes on six targets for a total of 44 receiving yards. Both Kalif Raymond and Luther Burden III had more catches, receiving yards, and targets than Odunze, and each found the end zone, while Odunze is still looking for his first score of the season. He only has eight catches in his first three games and seems to be playing a reduced role. While he leads the team in routes run, he only has a 14.4% target share, which caps his upside going forward in the short term, as the Bears take on the Jets in Week 4.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze will line up against staunch opposition in the visiting Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 3. Despite a scoring outburst in the team's road opener, Chicago's passing offense has begun the season cold. Preseason injuries to Odunze and teammate Luther Burden III may have contributed to the slow start. Either way, the offense takes a hit as long as quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) is sidelined. The silver lining for Odunze is that he appears to be over the calf injury that plagued him after seeing his snap share nearly double to 84% in Week 2. Still, it's challenging to project a productive day for Chicago's attack in the wake of Williams' soft-tissue ailment. Moreover, Philadelphia's defensive squad has stifled opposing passing attacks to the tune of 166 yards per game - the fifth-best mark in the league. Among a few cons in his profile, the third-year pro takes a dip in value, falling to RotoBaller's PPR WR49 preceding their second home outing.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has had an underwhelming start to the 2026 season, recording five catches for 95 yards on seven targets across his team's first two games. The 24-year-old entered the year battling a calf injury, which may explain some of his struggles. However, Odunze now projects to be impacted by a different injury in the games to come. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during Chicago's Week 2 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and his return timeline is currently unclear. For as long as Odunze is catching passes from Bears backup quarterbacks Tyson Bagent (concussion) and/or Case Keenum, it may be difficult for him to provide consistent fantasy production. Even in the best circumstances, Odunze is not guaranteed to see a high volume of targets in a Chicago offense that also features wide receiver Luther Burden III and tight end Colston Loveland. Between his slow start and the Bears' quarterback questions, Odunze profiles outside the top-48 at wide receiver for fantasy managers entering Week 3.
