Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs Taking Part in OTAs

Green Bay Packers wide receivers Jayden Reed (shoulder) and Romeo Doubs (concussion) were both seen participating in voluntary organized team activities on Wednesday, according to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman. Reed suffered a dislocated shoulder in the team's wild-card loss to the Philadelphia Eagles but didn't require surgery and is ready to go for 2025. Doubs, meanwhile, suffered a concussion in the same playoff game and should also be 100% ready this fall. Both Reed and Doubs should have more target competition in 2025, even with Christian Watson (knee) potentially missing over half the season, after the team took Matthew Golden (first round) and Savion Williams (third round) in this year's draft. The 25-year-old Red is the more attractive receiver in fantasy, but he's probably going to be an unpredictable, boom/bust WR3/flex.

No Long-Term Concerns For Romeo Doubs

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said that he doesn't think wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) has any long-term concern with his head health despite the fact that he suffered multiple concussions in the second half of the 2024 season, including in the wild-card loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. "Any time a guy has a couple concussions back-to-back, there's some concern there, not necessarily his long-term liability or anything, just for him," Gutekunst said. "I would expect him to bounce back and be at his best." The 24-year-old took a step back in 2024 in his third year in the NFL, but it didn't help that he played in only 13 regular-season games (12 starts). After going for 674 receiving yards and eight TDs in 2023, Doubs finished with a 46-601-4 line. With Christian Watson (knee) expected to miss at least half the 2025 season, Doubs should be in line for an expanded role if he's healthy.

Romeo Doubs Suffers Concussion In Wild-Card Loss

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) officially suffered a concussion in the third quarter of the team's 22-10 loss to the hosting Philadelphia Eagles in the wild-card round on Sunday and never returned. Doubs fell hard on his head in the end zone after a potential touchdown pass was broken up by two defenders. It was Doubs' second concussion of the season, but the good news is he'll have all offseason to recover. In addition to Doubs, the Packers lost Christian Watson (knee) to a torn ACL in Week 18 and Jayden Reed to a dislocated shoulder on Sunday. The 24-year-old finished Sunday's game with only two catches for 13 yards on two targets. The third-year wideout finished the regular season fourth on the team with 601 receiving yards and four TDs on 72 receptions in 13 games played. Doubs will remain a big part of the offense in 2025, albeit in a crowded Green Bay receiver room.

Romeo Doubs Tallies Two Receptions, Leaves Game In Second Half

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) left the game and did not return during the third quarter of the Packers' 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Doubs hit his head on the ground when trying to make a catch in the end zone on a deep shot from quarterback Jordan Love. Doubs was ruled questionable to return, but he never re-entered Sunday's contest. Prior to his departure, Doubs caught both of his targets for 13 yards on the afternoon. Heading into the final season of his rookie contract, Doubs tallied 46 receptions, 601 receiving yards, and four touchdowns this season. He should remain an integral part of the Packers' passing game in 2025.

Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs Questionable To Return

According to Lauren Helmbrecht, Green Bay Packers wide receivers Jayden Reed (shoulder) and Romeo Doubs (concussion) are both questionable to return to Sunday's wild-card game. Both sustained injuries during the second half. Doubs suffered a concussion earlier this season and had to miss two games. With Christian Watson (knee) already out for the season after tearing his ACL in the Week 18 regular-season finale, this leaves receivers Dontayvion Wicks and Bo Melton and tight end Tucker Kraft as quarterback Jordan Love's lone pass-catchers for the rest of this game. Reed was leading the team in receiving yards (46) before leaving, while Doubs had tallied 23 yards.

Romeo Doubs A WR2 Sleeper On Wild-Card Weekend

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (illness) practiced in full all week and was removed from Friday's final injury report. After sitting out for rest purposes in the Week 18 loss to the division-rival Chicago Bears in the regular-season finale, Doubs will be ready to play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road on wild-card weekend. And with Christian Watson (knee) now done for the year with a torn ACL, the 24-year-old Doubs will have a higher fantasy ceiling, albeit against an Eagles secondary that won't be an easy matchup. And while Doubs should have slightly more opportunities, he will still be battling for targets with Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. During the regular season, Doubs was outside the top-50 wideouts in half-PPR points per game with a 46-601-4 line in 13 games. Consider him a boom/bust WR2 sleeper in DFS and playoff formats this weekend.

Romeo Doubs Back At Practice

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (illness) is feeling better this week and returned to the practice field on Wednesday as the team begins preparing to face the Philadelphia Eagles on the road in the wild-card playoff game this Sunday. Doubs popped up on the team's Week 18 injury report on Saturday with an illness and was held out of Sunday's loss to the division-rival Chicago Bears with the Packers already locked into a playoff spot. Now that the 24-year-old has had time to rest up, he should be good to go for Sunday's contest in Philly, where Doubs will be a more attractive fantasy sleeper play with teammate Christian Watson (knee) done for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in Week 18. The third-year pass-catcher has scored only four TDs in 13 games this year, but his trips to the end zone came in bunches with a pair of two-touchdown performances. UPDATE: Doubs practiced in full on Wednesday.

Romeo Doubs Won't Suit Up Against Chicago

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (illness) is inactive for Sunday's Week 18 contest against the Chicago Bears. He had been listed as questionable after his late addition to the injury report on Saturday. The 24-year-old finishes the regular season as the overall WR52 in PPR leagues, catching 46 passes for 601 yards and four touchdowns over the course of 16 games. He has been one of several impactful pass-catchers in the Packers' offense, commanding targets amidst a committee of low-end fantasy receivers. His absence in Week 18 leaves Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, and Dontayvion Wicks as the Packers' top healthy wide receivers.

Romeo Doubs With Flex Appeal In Week 18 Against Bears

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs looks to keep up the momentum following a voluminous Week 17 to the Packers' Week 18 contest with the Chicago Bears. Doubs led the Packers with 11 targets in Week 17's loss to the Minnesota Vikings and brought in seven of those targets for 58 yards. Over the last seven games since the Packers' Week 10 bye, the Packers have focused more on a ground-and-pound approach with Josh Jacobs leading the charge, but even with the passing volume lacking, Doubs still maintained a solid target floor last week. If Doubs continues to get featured with the status of Christian Watson (knee) up in the air, that should make him the most desirable Packers pass-catcher. However, that only equates to flex-level fantasy value in Week 18 against the Bears.

Romeo Doubs Leads Packers’ Receivers In Week 17 Defeat

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs led the Packers in targets, receptions, and receiving yards in the Packers' 27-25 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17. Doubs was the Packers' most consistent passing-game option on the afternoon, catching 7-of-11 targets for 58 yards from quarterback Jordan Love. The Packers had the most passing attempts they've had since before their Week 10 bye and Doubs was a big part of that in Week 17. With the Packers' regular season finale in Week 18 where they will host the Chicago Bears, Doubs should be considered a low-end flex option for fantasy managers.
