Romeo Doubs News
The Green Bay Packers have placed wide receiver Romeo Doubs on the reserve/suspended list for one game due to conduct detrimental to the team. Reports indicate that Doubs missed practice this week out of frustration with his role in the offense. Although he participated in practice on Wednesday, he did not attend on Thursday. Concerned for his well-being, team representatives visited him at home. Doubs currently ranks second on the team in receiving yards and receptions, trailing only Jayden Reed in those categories. He has recorded 12 catches for 169 yards this season but has yet to score a touchdown. With fellow receiver Christian Watson also expected to miss tomorrow's game against the Rams, the Packers will rely on Reed and Dontayvion Wicks to step up in a more significant capacity for Sunday's matchup in Los Angeles.

Romeo Doubs Unhappy With His Role
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs skipped practices on Thursday and Friday because he is upset with his opportunities in the passing game through the first four weeks of the 2024 season, according to sources. Because of Doubs' skipped practices, he's now doubtful to play in Week 5 against the Los Angeles Rams due to personal reasons. "It's still day-to-day," head coach Matt LaFleur said after Friday's practice. Doubs is third on the team with 20 targets, only two behind Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks, who have 22 apiece. Last year, he had a team-high 96 targets -- two more than Reed and well ahead of Wicks (58) and Christian Watson (53). Green Bay didn't throw as much with quarterback Jordan Love (knee) missing two games due to injury. With Watson (ankle) and Doubs doubtful to play in Week 5, Reed and Wicks and tight end Tucker Kraft will be more attractive in fantasy.

Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson Listed As Doubtful For Week 5
Green Bay Packers wide receivers Romeo Doubs (personal) and Christian Watson (ankle) are both listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Doubs missed Thursday and Friday's practice due to a personal issue and Watson left last weekend's game early with a high ankle sprain and did not practice once this week. Fantasy managers should monitor their status over the weekend in case they are able to suit up. If not, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks should serve as the No.1 and 2 pass catchers for Jordan Love in a favorable matchup against a weak Los Angeles secondary. Tight end Tucker Kraft should also see an uptick in targets if both Doubs and Watson are unable to play.

Romeo Doubs Remains Absent On Friday
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (personal) was absent for the second straight practice on Friday. Doubs remains away from the team due to a personal matter. Head coach Matt LaFleur said the organization is hopeful to get Doubs back in time for Sunday's game. If not, Bo Melton could be asked to take on a bigger role with the Packers already shorthanded at wideout. Melton hauled in one of his three targets for 28 yards last week. Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks figure to benefit the most in the receiving game.

Romeo Doubs Misses Practice Thursday Due To Personal Matter, Remains Day-To-Day
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (personal) did not practice on Thursday due to personal reasons, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal. Silverstein further reported that the team is taking it "day-to-day" regarding Doubs' status for Sunday's game. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to any updates regarding Doubs during Friday's practice, as they should provide clarity on his status during the weekend. The Packers will likely be without Christian Watson (ankle) this weekend, as he suffered a high ankle sprain last week and has yet to return to practice. If the Packers are without both Watson and Doubs this weekend, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks could be in store for a high volume of targets in a favorable matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Romeo Doubs Puts Up Just 39 Receiving Yards In Packers’ Loss
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs earned eight targets in the Packers' narrow 31-29 loss to the division-rival Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. Despite Doubs' targeted involvement from returning starting quarterback Jordan Love, Doubs could only bring in four of those eight targets for 39 receiving yards. The Packers threw the ball a whopping 54 times and Doubs was on the field for 65-of-76 snaps per PFF's Nathan Jahnke, but Doubs could not find the end zone or provide some relief for fantasy managers that started him. The injury to Christian Watson (ankle) could condense some targets for the Packers if Watson misses time, but with the Packers heading west to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5, Doubs is a middle-of-the-road flex option.

Romeo Doubs On The Flex Radar For Week 4
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs will face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4 and getting Jordan Love (knee) back at quarterback will be a huge coup for the Packers' pass-catchers, including Doubs. After a Week 3 where Doubs caught just one ball for 18 yards on two targets, Doubs has been a bit lost in the shuffle since Malik Willis has been quarterback over the past two weeks. A feather in his cap though is that Doubs routinely runs the highest percentage of routes per dropback amongst Packers wide receivers, so you know he's going to be on the field more than any other receiver. Consider Doubs a low-end flex option, even if Love returns under center for the Packers at home against the Vikings.

Romeo Doubs Held In Check In Week 3
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs was a non-factor in Green Bay's 30-14 victory against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Doubs earned just two targets from Packers starting quarterback Malik Willis and corralled one of the targets for 18 yards as Doubs' only contribution toward the win. With just 19 pass attempts available for the pass catchers on the afternoon, targets were at a premium with a run-heavy approach to the game plan. Doubs' fantasy value heading into Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings is tied to the availability of Jordan Love (knee), who was unable to suit up in Week 3. Doubs would be a viable flex option for fantasy managers if Love returns to start for the Packers. If Willis remains the quarterback for Green Bay in Week 4, Doubs would be a recommended sit.

Romeo Doubs A Volatile Flex Option In Week 3
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs travels with the Packers to Nashville to take on the Titans in Week 3, where he'll be considered a flex option for fantasy managers. Doubs led the Packers in receiving yards with 62 in Green Bay's 16-10 win, but overall, the passing game was a distant second in importance to the run game. With just 14 pass attempts, passing volume was extremely hard to come by as the Packers employed a very conservative run-heavy approach to the game plan against the Colts in Week 2. That's the likely game plan in Week 3 should Willis get the starting nod. Starting quarterback Jordan Love (knee) has left the door open a crack with his availability this week, entering the weekend on the injury report with a questionable designation. If Love does end up playing, the offense is immediately upgraded. If Willis is starting, then consider Doubs a low-end flex option in Week 3.

Romeo Doubs Leads Packers With 62 Receiving Yards In Week 2
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs had a solid day given the lack of passing volume afforded to the Packers' pass-catchers in their 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. Doubs caught all three of his targets for a team-leading 62 receiving yards, capped by a 39-yard strike from starting quarterback Malik Willis early in the fourth quarter. With the Packers only dropping back to pass 19 times and throwing only 14 times, the pass-catchers didn't have too much to work with thanks to the game plan by head coach Matt LaFleur to lean heavily on the run game and an opportunistic defense that forced three turnovers. Doubs and the Packers will head southeast to Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, but Doubs will merely be a flex play in fantasy.
