Ryan Flournoy Not Startable with Top Wideout Cleared to Return

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy is considered a low-end desperation FLEX play in all standard leagues in Week 15. Flournoy saw his fantasy stock climb in Week 14 when he took on a larger role with CeeDee Lamb (concussion) exiting early with a concussion. In his absence, Flournoy slid in as the team's No. 2 WR opposite of George Pickens and was quite productive, catching nine of his 13 targets for 115 yards and a score. However, with Lamb cleared to return, Flournoy quickly reverts to the No. 3 spot on the WR depth chart, and No. 4 option in the passing game, behind tight Jake Ferguson. During Weeks 11 through 13, with a full complement of Dallas pass catchers in the lineup, Flournoy brought in just four of his five targets for 36 yards and a score. Even if Ferguson (calf) were to face a setback and not suit up, Flournoy would still carry desperation low-end FLEX value in deeper 14-team formats, given his placement on the depth chart. Flournoy has yet to carve out reliable targets with both Lamb and Pickens on the field, and his matchup against the elite Minnesota secondary makes him a high-risk fantasy option.

Ryan Flournoy Back on the Fantasy Radar in Week 15?

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy popped off in Week 14 with nine catches for 115 yards and one touchdown. The production mostly came in a game script that forced the Cowboys to throw a lot, combined with CeeDee Lamb (concussion), who left the game in the first half and did not return. Flournoy showed flashes of production when Lamb was injured earlier in the season and has 249 receiving yards and three touchdowns on the season. If Lamb is set to miss Week 15, Flournoy would be right back on the fantasy radar and would be viewed as a WR3/flex potential against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. The Vikings defense has been stout against wide receivers, allowing the second fewest points to the position. In deeper leagues that have multiple flex spots or three wide receivers, Flournoy could be a good option if Lamb does, in fact, miss Week 15.

Ryan Flournoy a Top Waiver Option With Teammate in Concussion Protocol

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy stepped up during Thursday night's loss to the Detroit Lions after CeeDee Lamb (concussion) exited early due to a concussion. Flournoy collected a team-high nine receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown on a team-leading 13 targets. It marks the 26-year-old's second game this season with over 100 receiving yards, with the other coming back in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers when Lamb was sidelined with an ankle injury. Flournoy's ability to level up with a star teammate out of the lineup is worth paying attention to. His nine receptions and 13 targets in Week 14 are tied for the second-most in a game by a Dallas pass-catcher this season. With Lamb in the concussion protocol, his status for Week 15's game against the Minnesota Vikings is uncertain. If he can't get cleared, Flournoy would be a strong plug-and-play option in Dallas' high-volume passing attack.

Ryan Flournoy Heavily Involved After Teammate's Exit

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy caught nine of his 13 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 14 loss against the Detroit Lions. Flournoy had a steady role from the start of the game, but he carved out an even larger target share after teammate CeeDee Lamb (concussion) exited and was ruled out in the third quarter. The second-year receiver from Southeast Missouri State had the best game of his young career, but it's not the first time he's put himself on the fantasy radar. Earlier in the year, when Lamb missed time with an ankle injury, Flournoy generated some fantasy buzz as a low-end WR3/flex. He should return to the WR3/flex tier in Week 15 against the Minnesota Vikings if Lamb is inactive and Flournoy is tasked with operating as the No. 2 receiver alongside George Pickens.

Ryan Flournoy is a Touchdown-Dependent Option for Week 12

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy has seen his role in the passing game decrease in recent weeks. Last week, Flournoy hauled in his lone target for a two-yard touchdown in the win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Flournoy has finished with two or fewer receptions in four straight games. Sadly, there aren't enough targets to go around with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens seeing a majority of the action. At the moment, Flournoy is just a depth option in this offense. He should be considered a touchdown-dependent option for the upcoming Week 12 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ryan Flournoy Returns To Depth Role For Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy took advantage of his opportunities earlier in the season with CeeDee Lamb missing three weeks due to an ankle injury. Flournoy had a career day in Week 5 against the Jets, catching six of his nine targets for 114 yards. The 26-year-old has since slid back into a rotational role with Lamb back healthy, but he's still finding ways to make an impact. Flournoy caught his first career touchdown in Dallas' Week 9 loss to the Arizona Cardinals while playing 67.2% of the snaps, his most since Week 6, before Lamb returned to the lineup. Flournoy has the size and athleticism to be a part of the Cowboys ' wide receiver sets alongside Lamb and George Pickens, and could still have some deep league fantasy value in the Cowboys' high-volume passing attack. Dallas will be on primetime again on Monday Night Football at the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11 when they return from their bye.

Ryan Flournoy Fades Out of Cowboys' Offense

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy has cooled off after his brief breakout stretch in Weeks 5 and 6, when he totaled nine receptions for 144 yards. In Week 7, Flournoy was held without a target, coinciding with the return of star receiver CeeDee Lamb. Flournoy's snap share dropped from 65% during his productive stretch to just 28% in Week 7, as Lamb reclaimed his dominant role in the offense. With George Pickens and Jake Ferguson also commanding targets, Flournoy is now buried in a crowded depth chart. Fantasy managers can confidently drop Flournoy in all formats moving forward.

Ryan Flournoy Slides Back into Depth Role for Week 7

With CeeDee Lamb set to return from a high-ankle sprain in Week 7 against Washington, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy is expected to revert to a depth role in the Cowboys' receiving rotation. Flournoy played a meaningful role for Dallas in Lamb's absence, most notably in their Week 5 win over the Jets when he caught six of nine targets for 114 yards. Lamb will reassume his role as the top option in the Dallas passing game, with KaVontae Turpin also expected to return after a two-game absence due to a foot sprain. Flournoy's opportunities will likely be limited in Week 7 against Washington, and he is likely best left on waivers.

Has Ryan Flournoy Already Hit his High-Water Mark?

Dallas Cowboys second-year wide receiver Ryan Flournoy went off for six catches and 114 yards on nine targets in the Week 5 win over the New York Jets with both CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot) sidelined. However, he was unable to maintain that momentum in last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers, securing only three of six targets for 30 receiving yards. Flournoy was a short-term waiver-wire option with both Lamb and Turpin injured, but it looks like that window could be closing, with both Lamb and Turpin returning to practice and potentially the field this Sunday against the division-rival Washington Commanders. Quarterback Dak Prescott could prefer Flournoy over Jalen Tolbert in the passing game, but Flournoy won't be a realistic deep-league streaming option in Week 7 if both Lamb and Turpin are back in action.

Ryan Flournoy Could Offer Deep-League Value

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy is coming off a fantastic performance in Week 5. Flournoy hauled in six of his nine targets for 114 yards in the win over the New York Jets. The 25-year-old came out of nowhere and posted a career-game last week. The assumption is that the Cowboys are going to keep him involved going forward. This offense remains without their top option in CeeDee Lamb (ankle) for Week 6. That being said, George Pickens figures to draw the most attention on defense, which could leave Flournoy in favorable coverage. The lack of prior success does make Flournoy a risky choice. He's more of a flex option in deep leagues because it's unclear if he can duplicate that performance.
