Von Miller News
Linebacker Von Miller is heading to Buffalo, securing a six-year, $120 million deal. After there were rumblings of retirement, the 32-year-old will join the Bills, which had one of the best fantasy defenses last season. Miller began the 2021-22 campaign in Denver, where he played his entire NFL career before ending up in Los Angeles, helping the Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals by compiling two sacks in Super Bowl LVI. While the veteran's production may decline gradually as he begins to get up there in age, fantasy managers in IDP formats will likely continue to benefit from his production, at least for a few more years. He's also remained relatively healthy during his tenure in the league, adding another feather to his cap.
Free-agent linebacker Von Miller has been linked to several teams over the past few days, including the Dallas Cowboys and his former team, the Denver Broncos. However, as of now, all signs seem to be pointing toward Miller returning to the Los Angeles Rams. Ian Rapoport reports that other teams are "convinced he's headed back" to Los Angeles. The 32-year-old was instrumental in the Rams Super Bowl run last year. In his eight regular season games with the Rams in 2021, he compiled 31 tackles and five sacks. He went on to add four more sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the postseason.
Free-agent pass-rusher Von Miller has strong interest in joining the Dallas Cowboys after the team whiffed on re-signing Randy Gregory on Tuesday. Miller has a home very close to the Cowboys facilities and played his college ball in Texas at Texas A&M. The Los Angeles Rams are very much interested in re-signing Miller after he helped the team win the Super Bowl after a midseason trade. The Super Bowl 50 MVP also expressed interest in returning to the Denver Broncos, but their signing of Gregory on Tuesday may complicate that. Miller is no longer in his prime, but the 32-year-old former second overall pick in 2011 did have 9.5 sacks in 15 starts in 2021. He'd form a daunting pass-rush presence alongside Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence in Dallas.
