Bills
The National Football League has suspended Buffalo Bills pass-rusher Von Miller for four games (without pay) on Tuesday for violating the league's personal-conduct policy. Miller will be eligible to be reinstated on Oct. 28 after the team's Week 8 contest against the Seattle Seahawks. The suspension comes from allegations that Miller assaulted his pregnant girlfriend in 2023. At the time, Miller turned himself in on an arrest warrant for a charge of third-degree felony assault on Nov. 30. The 35-year-old former Super Bowl MVP said the allegations are false and "overblown." The NFL apparently disagreed. The eight-time Pro Bowler is no longer in his prime and has dealt with some injury issues in recently seasons, not playing more than 12 games in either of his first two years in Buffalo. Through four games in 2024, Miller has played well, picking up three sacks and five solo tackles. The Bills' defense is losing a valuable piece for the next four games.

Von Miller Determined To Bounce Back In 2024
Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller turned in the worst season of his career last year. The 35-year-old posted just three tackles and zero sacks in 12 games upon his return from a torn ACL that he suffered in 2022. The MVP of Super Bowl 50 said is aiming to get back on the right track in 2024. "My biggest individual goal is just getting back to playing my style of football," he said. "It's crazy how you get injured, and you come back, and you really shouldn't have even been playing," Miller said. "And people judge you by a product on the field. I could have easily sat out all of last season, but I couldn't do my teammates like that. I felt like being later in my career, I didn't want to sacrifice any of my years. But at the same time, I shouldn't have been out there." It sounds like Miller never felt like himself and he is "angry" heading into his 13th NFL campaign. Miller is the active leader in career sacks (123.5) and could move into 16th place all-time with just five sacks this season.

Bills, Von Miller Agree To Renegotiated Contract
The Buffalo Bills and pass-rusher Von Miller agreed to a renegotiated contract on Wednesday, according to a source. The new deal has a base value of $8.855 million in 2024, with the chance for Miller to make up to $20 million with incentives (up from $17.5 million under the old deal). The restructure saves the Bills $8.645 million in salary cap space this year. The 34-year-old eight-time Pro Bowler and former Super Bowl MVP suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2022 and got a late start in 2023 in his second year in Buffalo, ultimately playing in only 12 games while not recording a single sack for the first time in his 12-year NFL career. At this point, Miller is no longer on the IDP fantasy radar and has become a rotational pass-rusher in Buffalo.

Von Miller A Healthy Scratch Against Patriots
Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller is a healthy scratch for Sunday's divisional contest against the New England Patriots. It's been a rough year for Miller in 2023 after missing the first four games of the year while recovering from a season-ending knee injury he suffered on Thanksgiving Day in 2022. He made his debut in the Week 5 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and just hasn't been very effective as a pass-rusher. The 34-year-old eight-time Pro Bowler hasn't recorded a single sack in 11 games in his second year in Buffalo and has only notched three tackles (two solo) and three QB hits. On top of his poor play, he popped up in the news for the wrong reasons during the team's bye week and was faced with a felony domestic-violence charge. At this stage of his career, he's become a rotational pass-rusher.

Von Miller Available To Play In Week 14
Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane said that pass-rusher Von Miller is available to play in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Miller isn't expected to be placed on the commissioner's exempt list after he was charged with felony domestic violence during the team's bye in Week 13. A suspension could be coming for the 34-year-old All-Pro eventually, but for now it looks like Miller will play this weekend in Kansas City. After blowing out his knee on Thanksgiving in 2022, Miller has been a shell of his former self and has become a rotational outside linebacker for Buffalo's defense. In eight games in his second year with the Bills, he has only two tackles (one solo) and no sacks.

Von Miller Being Accused Of Domestic Violence
Buffalo Bills star linebacker Von Miller is accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend at their home in Dallas this week, according to multiple police sources and officials. A warrant for a charge of assaulting a pregnant person has been issued for Miller. A charge of assaulting a pregnant person is a third-degree felony in Texas. "This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point," the Bills said in a statement. Buffalo is on bye in Week 13, but it's unclear if Miller will face any suspension from the NFL for this incident. The 34-year-old three-time All-Pro is still looking for his first sack in his second year in Buffalo in 2023 through eight games played.

Von Miller Limited So Far In Practice This Week
Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Von Miller (knee) was listed as limited in Tuesday's practice for the second straight day as the team continues to manage his workload coming off a torn ACL last Thanksgiving. Miller didn't make his season debut until Week 5 and hasn't played more than 35 percent of the defensive snaps in his three games so far in 2023. He actually played just 10 percent of the snaps (six total) in the Week 7 loss to the New England Patriots and didn't finish with a tackle. The 34-year-old former Super Bowl MVP will not be on the fantasy radar in IDP leagues until he starts seeing a lot more playing time. That's unlikely to suddenly happen this Thursday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Von Miller Active Sunday, Will Make Season Debut
Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller (knee) is active for Week 5 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had been listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week long. Ultimately, the veteran is suiting up Sunday, though he is expected to operate on a snap count. When Miller steps on the field, he'll be making his season debut. The 34-year-old hasn't played in a game since Week 12 in 2022.

Von Miller Activated Off PUP List
Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller (knee) was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Jaguars in London. The 34-year-old has appeared in 162 games throughout his career, totaling 560 tackles, 123.5 sacks, 27 forced fumbles, and two interceptions. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL during the 2022 Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions and has been working his way back since. Assuming Miller plays, IDP managers may play it safe by keeping him out of the starting lineup in Week 5. On the other hand, he can still be a potent fantasy performer even if he sees limited work.

Von Miller Officially Questionable For Week 5
Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller (knee) was limited in practice all week and is officially questionable to play in Week 5 in London on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Miller continues to say that he's a pretty good bet to make his 2023 debut this weekend after tearing his ACL on Thanksgiving last year. However, he technically needs to be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list before he can suit up in London. All signs are pointing towards that happening on Saturday, though, as he's making the trip across the pond with his teammates. Miller's addition to Buffalo's already strong D is a big upgrade, but he's likely to be on some sort of snap count in his first game back if he's active Sunday morning.
