Travis Konecny Hurt at Sunday's Practice

Philadelphia Flyers winger Travis Konecny (knee) left Sunday's practice session early, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. The 28-year-old took a puck to his knee. After missing Saturday's loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning due to an upper-body injury, Konecny was back on the ice Sunday wearing a regular jersey. It seems he was on track to suit up for Monday's rematch with the Lightning, but Konecny's status is now uncertain due to the new injury. With Konecny out, Matvei Michkov joined the first line on Saturday but couldn't make a positive impact. He has no points across 17:10 of action, finishing with a minus-three rating.

Thatcher Demko Lands on Injured Reserve

Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (lower body) was placed on Injured Reserve on Sunday. The move came after Demko suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Vancouver's No. 1 will sit out at least four games, beginning with Monday's matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Demko has an 8-10-1 record, a 2.90 goals-against average, a .897 save percentage, and one shutout this season. Kevin Lankinen is set to start the majority of games while Demko is on the mend, with Nikita Tolopilo called up from the AHL to provide cover in the crease.

Colin Miller  • D  •  Jets

Colin Miller Injured Versus Devils

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Colin Miller (lower body) was injured in Sunday's 4-3 win over the New Jersey Devils. He left in the first period with a lower-body injury after crashing hard into the boards. Miller tried to return for the second frame but wasn't able to play, limping to the locker room. The 33-year-old was desperate to return, as he hasn't had many playing opportunities this season. Miller has been a healthy scratch regularly, skating in only 14 games. Miller has recorded one assist, 16 shots, 10 blocks, and 25 hits.

Bryan Rust Remains Out Sunday

Pittsburgh Penguins right wing Bryan Rust (lower body) will miss a second consecutive game on Sunday against the Boston Bruins. The veteran forward is considered day-to-day and will get his next opportunity to return on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Morgan Geekie Won't Play Sunday

Boston Bruins forward Morgan Geekie (personal) won't play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He left Saturday's 10-2 win over the New York Rangers early to attend to a family matter, and Geekie isn't ready to rejoin the lineup against Pittsburgh. Geekie's absence means that Boston won't have its best goal-scorer in the lineup. The 27-year-old has notched 25 goals and 16 assists in 45 appearances. Michael Eyssimont will take Geekie's spot in the lineup.

Mark Stone Extends Goal Streak With Empty-Netter

Vegas Golden Knights right wing Mark Stone matched a franchise record with a seven-game goal streak in Saturday's 4-2 win over the St. Louis Blues. The Golden Knights captain left it late, but he was able to extend his goal-scoring run with an empty-netter 2:24 from the end of regulation. Max Pacioretty established Vegas' record for most consecutive games with a goal in 2021. Stone, whose work on Saturday included a fight with Brayden Schenn, will attempt to break it on Sunday night against the San Jose Sharks. The veteran forward has been in wonderful form throughout 2025-26, going scoreless in only two of his 27 appearances. He has posted 15 goals and 23 assists.

Nikita Kucherov  • RW  •  Lightning

Nikita Kucherov Has Four-Point Outing Saturday

Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov recorded an eighth consecutive multi-point game on Saturday, notching two goals and two assists in a 7-2 road win over the Philadelphia Flyers. He bagged all the points during even-strength play and already had two goals within the opening 6:05 of action. Kucherov has been on a phenomenal run since late December, becoming only the third active player with a multi-point streak of at least eight games. It was last achieved by former Lightning captain Steven Stamkos in 2021-22. The Russian superstar moved to fourth on the NHL's scoring charts, boasting 65 points (22 goals, 43 assists) through 39 appearances.

David Pastrnak  • RW  •  Bruins

David Pastrnak Records Six Assists in Big Win

Boston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak racked up six assists in Saturday's 10-2 victory over the New York Rangers. He became the third player in franchise history with as many as six assists in a single game, joining Bobby Orr and Ken Hodge. A Bruins player hadn't had six points in a game since Ray Bourque in 1990. Pastrnak's line was ruthless against the Rangers, combining for 13 points. Marat Khusnutdinov exploded for four goals and one assist. After a six-game losing skid in December, Boston has started to pick up momentum again, with Pastrnak at the heart of it. He has strung together a five-game point streak, posting four goals and 10 assists. The scoring surge has put Pastrnak on track for a fourth consecutive 100-point campaign. He boasts 55 points (19 goals, 36 assists) after 40 games.

Stefan Noesen  • RW  •  Devils

Stefan Noesen to Have Knee Surgery

New Jersey Devils winger Stefan Noesen (knee) will be out long-term after undergoing knee surgery next week. The veteran forward will be placed on Injured Reserve. Noesen has made 38 appearances this season, scoring three goals and seven points. His effectiveness has dropped off the cliff after Noesen was a 40-point guy a season ago. It's possible that Noesen's decline is related to his lingering knee injury, which he will now get fixed. The Devils announced that fellow forward Zack MacEwen (knee), who hasn't played since Nov. 12, also needed surgery and is out for the season.

Carter Hart Out Week-to-Week

Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Carter Hart (lower body) is considered week-to-week. He is poised to miss several games due to a lower-body injury. Hart has posted a 5-3-3 record during his comeback campaign and holds a 3.28 goals-against average with a .871 save percentage. While Hart hasn't been very effective with his work, the Golden Knights have utilized him often since the start of December. With Hart unavailable, Akira Schmid took on the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night, recording 17 saves in a 4-2 win. Currently, Carl Lindbom is another option between the pipes for the Golden Knights, who have been without regular starter Adin Hill (lower body) since October.

Thatcher Demko Exits With Injury Saturday

Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (lower body) suffered yet another injury setback in Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. He departed the game after the first period due to a lower-body injury. Demko allowed three goals on six shots before being replaced by Kevin Lankinen. Canucks head coach Adam Foote told reporters postgame that Demko would be re-evaluated over the next few days. Unfortunately, it looks like the 2024 Vezina Trophy finalist is set to miss time again. Injuries have limited Demko to 20 starts this season, during which he has posted an 8-10-1 record. He has logged a 2.90 goals-against average, a .897 save percentage, and one shutout.

Philip Broberg  • D  •  Blues

Philip Broberg Suffers Upper-Body Injury Saturday

St. Louis Blues defenseman Philip Broberg (upper body) was limited to 55 seconds of ice time in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. He exited the action due to an upper-body injury shortly after assisting Robert Thomas on the game's opening goal. It was a sad ending to an exciting day for Broberg, who inked a six-year, $48 million extension with the Blues only a few hours before the game. Broberg's new contract demonstrates the organization's continued confidence in him, even after an underwhelming 2025-26 season. The Swedish blue-liner has recorded 15 points (two goals, 13 assists), 58 shots, and 71 blocks.

Jaden Schwartz Replaces Chandler Stephenson in Kraken Lineup

Seattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz (lower body) was activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday and will return to the lineup against the Carolina Hurricanes. In a corresponding move, Chandler Stephenson (personal) was placed on the non-roster list. Stephenson will miss his first game of the season. Fortunately for the Kraken, they will have Schwartz available after a 19-game absence. Before sustaining a lower-body injury, the veteran was having a fine campaign, notching 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) in 23 contests. On Saturday, Schwartz should be part of the top-six group and skate on the first power-play unit.

Brandon Saad Won't Play This Weekend

Vegas Golden Knights left wing Brandon Saad (undisclosed) will miss this weekend's back-to-back set against the St. Louis Blues and San Jose Sharks, per SinBin.vegas. The veteran forward is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. Saad has not had a great campaign with Vegas, posting only seven points (two goals, five assists) in 39 games. In Saad's absence, Cole Reinhardt is projected to enter the lineup on Saturday night. Reinhardt will be limited to a fourth-line role and won't offer fantasy value.

Shea Theodore  • D  •  Golden Knights

Shea Theodore Returns to Golden Knights Lineup Saturday

Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theodore (upper body) was activated from Injured Reserve and is on track to play on Saturday night against the St. Louis Blues, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. The talented rearguard has missed nearly a month of action due to an upper-body injury, sitting out 11 games. Theodore will be part of the second defensive pairing and the second power-play unit. This season, Theodore has managed 20 points (four goals, 16 assists) in 31 games, adding 48 blocks to his tally. With him now available, Dylan Coghlan was reassigned to the minors.

Jaccob Slavin  • D  •  Hurricanes

Jaccob Slavin Returns Against Kraken

Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin (upper body) was activated from Injured Reserve and will end a 10-game absence on Saturday night against the Seattle Kraken. Overall, Slavin has appeared in only five games this season due to health issues. Slavin was paired with Jalen Chatfield during the morning skate, and he will also have a role on the penalty kill. Joel Nystrom will make room for Slavin in the lineup and has been reassigned to the AHL. While Slavin strengthens the Hurricanes' blue line with his experience and steady play, he offers little in terms of fantasy production.

Travis Konecny Ruled Out Saturday

Philadelphia Flyers winger Travis Konecny (upper body) will miss his first game of the season on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He will sit out at least one game due to an upper-body injury sustained in Thursday's loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Meanwhile, Bobby Brink (upper body) will be absent for a second straight game, giving Matvei Michkov a spot on the first line. This enhances Michkov's fantasy value, though Saturday's matchup is a tough one against the third-best defensive team in the NHL.

Brad Marchand Misses Saturday's Game

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) will remain sidelined on Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. The veteran forward was on the ice Saturday morning but will sit out his second consecutive game. With Marchand out of the lineup, the Panthers are without their top scorer. Marchand has registered 46 points (23 goals, 23 assists) in 41 games. Sandis Vilmanis will make his NHL debut on Saturday, while A.J. Greer will continue in a second-line role. Marchand's next opportunity to return will be on Monday when the Panthers face the Buffalo Sabres.

Corey Perry Available Saturday

Los Angeles Kings right wing Corey Perry (personal) will likely play on Saturday against the Edmonton Oilers, Sportsnet's Jack Michaels reports. The veteran was activated from the non-roster list after he missed two games for personal reasons. In a corresponding move, Anze Kopitar (lower body) was placed on Injured Reserve. With Kopitar out and a couple of other forwards also missing, Perry could play a more prominent role on Saturday night against his former team. The veteran forward has notched 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in 35 games this season.

William Nylander  • RW  •  Maple Leafs

William Nylander Returns From Six-Game Absence

Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander (lower body) was activated from Injured Reserve and will return from a six-game absence on Saturday against the Vancouver Canucks. Nylander is available after missing a couple of weeks due to a lower-body injury. Despite missing time, Nylander remains Toronto's top scorer. He has amassed 41 points (14 goals, 27 assists) in 33 games. The Swedish star makes his return in a good matchup, as only the Anaheim Ducks have allowed more goals than the Canucks this season. He'll be on the second line with Matias Maccelli and John Tavares and will also join the first power-play unit.
