Taj Bradley's Next Start Pushed to Friday Against Bucs

Minnesota Twins right-hander Taj Bradley's next start has been pushed back to the series opener on Friday in Pittsburgh against the Pirates, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Kendry Rojas will re-enter the Twins' starting rotation to pitch on Thursday in the series finale against the Chicago White Sox. The move doesn't change all that much for Bradley, who has been really strong for fantasy managers in 2026, going 5-1 with a 2.77 ERA (3.26 FIP) and 1.17 WHIP with 59 strikeouts and 19 walks in 52 innings across his nine starts. In his return from the injured list last week after missing time with a pectoral injury, Bradley allowed an earned run with two walks and seven strikeouts in five innings against the Boston Red Sox for his fifth win of the year. The Pirates are no cake walk of a matchup, but Bradley has earned the trust of fantasy managers at this point and should be in most starting lineups to kick off the weekend at PNC Park. He has had at least seven K's in each of his last three outings, and the Pirates rank second in baseball in strikeouts (520).

Taj Bradley Reinstated From Injured List, Starting Against Boston

The Minnesota Twins announced on Saturday that they reinstated right-hander Taj Bradley (pectoral) from the 15-day injured list and designated right-handed reliever Luis Garcia for assignment in a corresponding move. Bradley will make his return and start on Saturday at Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox after spending just over two weeks on the shelf with a pectoral injury. The 25-year-old former fifth-round pick by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018 was in the midst of a breakout campaign with Minnesota through his first eight starts before getting hurt, going 4-1 with a .287 ERA (3.48 FIP) and 1.19 WHIP with 52 strikeouts and 17 walks across 47 innings pitched. Fantasy managers searching for a starting pitching upgrade should be looking at Bradley, who is rostered in 76% of Yahoo leagues. He threw only 42 pitches in a 1 2/3 innings with Triple-A St. Paul in his lone minor-league rehab start, though, so expect him to be limited from a pitch-count perspective in his return in Boston on Saturday.

Taj Bradley to Return From IL to Start on Saturday?

Minnesota Twins right-hander Taj Bradley (pectoral) is throwing a bullpen session on Wednesday, so he may return from the 15-day injured list to make a start on Saturday in Boston against the Red Sox if everything goes well with his bullpen session, according to Matthew Leach of MLB.com. Bradley threw 65 pitches in a minor-league rehab outing with Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday and could return to Minnesota's starting rotation this weekend. This is a reminder for fantasy managers to check their waiver wires to see if Bradley is available. If he is, he's certainly worth a pickup, especially with a potential matchup this weekend against the last-place Red Sox, who currently rank 27th in baseball with a .675 OPS. The 25-year-old Bradley was pitching very well before suffering from pectoral inflammation, going 4-1 with a 2.87 ERA (3.50 FIP) and 1.19 WHIP with 52 strikeouts and 17 walks in 47 innings across his eight starts. He's currently rostered in 75% of Yahoo leagues.

Taj Bradley Goes 1 2/3 Innings in Rehab Start on Sunday

Minnesota Twins right-hander Taj Bradley (pectoral) only went 1 2/3 innings in his minor-league rehab start on Sunday with Triple-A St. Paul, allowing an earned run on two hits while walking two and striking out three. Bradley threw 42 of his 65 pitches for strikes on the day and could be ready to return to the Twins' starting rotation soon after he was placed on the 15-day injured list on May 9 with inflammation in his right pectoral muscle. The Twins will re-evaluate Bradley on Monday before determining if they want him to make another rehab start in the minors before rejoining the big-league starting rotation. If Bradley doesn't require another tune-up game in the minors, he could be looking at making his next start for the Twins this weekend against the struggling Boston Red Sox. The 25-year-old former fifth-round pick by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018 has had a strong first full season in Minnesota before his injury, going 4-1 with a 2.87 ERA (3.48 FIP) and 1.19 WHIP with 52 strikeouts and 17 walks in 47 innings across his eight starts. Fantasy managers looking for rotation help need to look no further than Bradley, who is rostered in 75% of Yahoo leagues right now.

Taj Bradley to Make a Rehab Start on Sunday

Minnesota Twins right-hander Taj Bradley (pectoral) is scheduled to make a minor-league rehab start on Sunday with Triple-A St. Paul, according to Twins reporter Audra Martin. Bradley has already been cleared to begin a rehab assignment on the farm after landing on the 15-day injured list on May 9 with right-pectoral inflammation. The 25-year-old had a successful 20-pitch bullpen session on Friday. Barring a setback, he will likely be activated to rejoin the Twins' starting rotation in late May after a couple of rehab outings. The 25-year-old former fifth-round selection by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018 was having the best stretch of his young career across eight starts for Minnesota before his injury, going 4-1 with a 2.87 ERA (3.48 FIP), 1.19 WHIP, and 52:17 K:BB in 47 innings pitched. Bradley's hot start is the reason why the former top prospect in Tampa's system is rostered in 75% of Yahoo leagues right now. He's allowed more than two earned runs in just one of his eight starts so far this season and has had at least seven strikeouts in five of his outings.

Taj Bradley Throws Successful Bullpen Session

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Taj Bradley (pectoral) threw a successful 20-pitch bullpen session on Friday. This is the first time that Bradley has taken the mound since going down with right pectoral inflammation on May 6. The expectation is that he'll throw another bullpen session at some point next week. After that, Bradley should progress to facing live hitters. It doesn't sound liike he's too far away from being activated from the Injured List. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Bradley, with him possibly being able to return by the end of May.

Taj Bradley Hits the Injured List With Pectoral Inflammation

The Minnesota Twins have placed starting pitcher Taj Bradley (pectoral) on the 15-day injured list because of right-pectoral inflammation. The right-handed hurler has had a fantastic start to the 2026 season, posting a 2.82 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, all while striking out 52 batters in just 47 innings pitched. He looked dominant in his last start last weekend, but he has since developed an injury that will require time off. He was set to start on Sunday in Cleveland, but now the team will be searching for answers. It is also unclear if he will be ready to return when first eligible, giving the Twins quite a hole to fill in their rotation long term.

Taj Bradley Dominant Again on Tuesday, Strikes Out 10 in Quality Start

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Taj Bradley earned his second win of the season on Tuesday, allowing just one earned run across 6 1/3 innings in his team's 4-2 win over the Detroit Tigers. Bradley allowed six hits but did not walk a batter and struck out 10. The 25-year-old former top prospect is off to a strong start to his 2026 campaign, as he's recorded a 1.08 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 22 strikeouts across his first three starts (16 2/3 innings). Bradley is averaging a career-best 97.7 mph on his fastball and has yet to allow a home run, a major development considering he owns an elevated 1.43 HR/9 across 402 career MLB innings. Raw arm talent has never been Bradley's issue, so the young right-hander could finally be putting it all together in his first full season with the Twins. He profiles as a prime waiver-wire target in most fantasy formats.

Taj Bradley Solid Through Two Starts, Worth a Waiver-Wire Add in Week 3?

Minnesota Twins right-handed pitcher Taj Bradley has been fantastic through two starts this season, throwing 10 1/3 scoreless innings in two starts while giving up eight hits, one earned run, and four walks, and striking out 12 for a 0.87 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. Bradley has shown significant upside throughout his first couple of seasons at the big-league level with the Tampa Bay Rays before being dealt to the Twins this past offseason. The issue with Bradley has been the lack of consistency in stringing multiple outings together and providing any level of consistency over a long period of time. Heading into Week 3 of the fantasy season, Bradley is lined up for a two-start week against much stiffer competition, Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers and Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Because he has a two-start week, he works his way into the fantasy radar for Week 3. Fantasy managers should understand that with Bradley, there is some risk involved, but the upside you could get with strikeouts should be worth it during a two-start week.

Taj Bradley Continues Impressive Run, Worth Trusting Going Forward?

Minnesota Twins' right-handed pitcher Taj Bradley has performed well through two starts this season, throwing 10 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing eight hits, one earned run, four walks, 12 strikeouts, and posting a 0.87 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. Bradley has shown flashes in the pan throughout his first couple of seasons at the big league level with the Tampa Bay Rays before being dealt to Minnesota this past offseason, but has not been able to consistently string starts together throughout his four-year MLB career. So much so that it resulted in a trip to Triple-A last season with the Rays organization. Pitching for the Twins, who are currently 2-4 to start the season, likely aren't going to be serious contenders in 2026, which will likely give Bradley a longer leash to see what he can really do, considering he's 25-years young, making him worth a waiver-wire add because of his potential strikeout upside. In his first season in MLB back in 2023, Bradley posted a 28.3 percent strike rate. Bradley's next turn in the rotation is lining up to be a much tougher matchup against their other AL Central opponent, the Detroit Tigers, early next week.
