The Las Vegas Raiders officially re-signed exclusive-rights free-agent defensive end Charles Snowden, defensive tackle Matthew Butler, linebacker Kana'i Mauga, offensive guard Jordan Meredith and cornerback Sam Webb on Monday. Snowden will return for a second season with the Raiders after recording 39 tackles (18 solo), 1.5 sacks, seven QB hits and four pass breakups in 16 games (nine starts). The 27-year-old went undrafted out of the University of Virginia before latching on with the Chicago Bears for his rookie season in 2021. He appeared in only two games that year and didn't record a single tackle in the Windy City. Snowden will merely be hoping to stand out again in a rotational role at defensive end in 2025 behind Maxx Crosby and Malcolm Koonce.

The Raiders are in contact with the NFL and local authorities about the incident. Snowden has played in all 13 games this season and has racked up 30 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and three pass deflections. It's unknown at this time if he will face discipline this season from the team or the NFL.
