Olamide Zaccheaus Inks Deal With Chicago

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that free-agent wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus is signing a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears. The amount has not yet been disclosed. The 27-year-old bounced around the NFC East over the prior two seasons, spending time with the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. He will link up with his fourth team since joining the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2019. Zaccheaus notched a career-high with 45 receptions on 63 targets last season while playing with rookie signal-caller Jayden Daniels and serving as a punt returner for Washington. He projects to slot in as the Bears' third receiver, playing alongside incumbent starters DJ Moore and Rome Odunze. Despite the change in scenery, the Virginia alum can be safely avoided sans deep best-ball formats.

Olamide Zaccheaus Sees Five Targets In NFC Championship

Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus caught four of his five targets for 26 yards during their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Title game. Zaccheaus also caught a two-point conversion in the third quarter. Zaccheaus' five targets matched him with No.2 wideout Dyami Brown. His yardage total was the fourth-most among Washington pass catchers. This was a nice bounce-back showing for Zaccheaus, as he caught just three passes for 19 yards in the wild-card round and did not get on the scoresheet in the divisional round. However, during the final three weeks of the regular season, Zacchaeus was a key part of the offense as he tallied 68.7 yards per game with three touchdowns. Zaccheaus will likely continue to operate as a depth wide receiver if he returns to Washington in 2025.

Olamide Zaccheaus A Low-End WR3 Facing Philadelphia

Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (hip) is off the injury report and good to go for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Zaccheaus opened the week as a limited participant but was able to log a full session on Friday to avoid a designation. During the playoffs, Zaccheaus has taken a step back as Dyami Brown has grown into the No.2 WR role. As a result, Zacchaeus has caught just three passes for 19 yards. However, during the final three weeks of the regular season, Zaccheaus averaged 68.7 yards per game with three touchdowns. With the Commanders entering this game as underdogs, they may find themselves trailing at times, which could set up a positive game script for the slot receiver. He is a WR3 at a value price in DFS on Sunday.

Olamide Zaccheaus Remains Limited On Thursday

According to the team, Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (hip) remained a limited participant during Thursday's practice. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status on Friday. If he is unable to upgrade to full participation, he may carry a questionable tag into Sunday's conference championship. Last weekend, during their upset victory over the Detroit Lions, Zacchaeus could not catch any of his two targets. During the wild-card round, Zaccheaus caught three passes for 19 yards. However, during the final three weeks of the regular season, Zacchaeus was a key part of the Washington air attack, averaging 68.7 yards per game with five receptions per contest and three touchdowns. Dyami Brown has surpassed him as the No.2 option on the depth chart, but Zaccheaus still carries flex value in DFS at a much lower price.

Olamide Zaccheaus Limited To Start The Week

Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (hip) put in a limited practice in the first session of the week on Wednesday. Zaccheaus had to come out of the Divisional Round win on Saturday against the Detroit Lions briefly with a hip ailment, but he was able to return and finish out the game. The 27-year-old was targeted only once in the upset victory but didn't come down with a catch. As long as he doesn't have any setbacks the next two days, Zaccheaus should be available for Washington as they look to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl by beating the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game on Sunday. Zaccheaus had one catch for 10 yards in the first meeting with the Eagles on Nov. 14, but he went off for five catches, 70 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets in the second meeting on Dec. 22. He'll be a boom/bust DFS sleeper play at the receiver position this weekend.

Olamide Zaccheaus Returns To Saturday's Game

According to Ben Standig of The Athletic, Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (groin) has returned to Saturday's playoff game against the Detroit Lions. Zaccheaus exited the contest during the second quarter. Before leaving, he was targeted two times but was unable to catch any of them. He should continue to operate as the No.3 wide receiver in the Washington passing attack.

Olamide Zaccheaus Questionable To Return

According to the team, Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus (groin) is questionable to return to Saturday's playoff game against the Detroit Lions. Zaccheaus sustained this injury during the second quarter. Before exiting, Zaccheaus was targeted twice but was unable to catch any of them. While sidelined, Terry McLaurin and Dyami Brown will lead the Washington passing attack.

Olamide Zaccheaus Poised To Bounce Back In Divisional Round

Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus had a disappointing showing last weekend but should be poised for a bounce back showing in Detroit on Saturday night. Last weekend, Zaccheaus caught all three of his targets for a mere 19 yards. However, during his previous three games (Weeks 16 through 18), Zacchaeus averaged an impressive 68.7 yards per game and scored three touchdowns. While Dyami Brown (hamstring) has returned from his injury and should continue to have a role in the starting lineup, fantasy managers should expect Zaccheaus to return to form in a potential high-scoring affair in Detroit. Zacchaeus is a viable WR3 play in DFS, as the Lions have allowed the second-most PPR points per game to opposing wideouts.

Olamide Zaccheaus Has Quiet Showing In Wild-Card Victory

Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus had a quiet showing during their wild-card victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In this game, Zaccheaus brought in all three of his targets for just 19 yards. His three targets were the lowest among other Washington wide receivers. The 27-year-old found a role in the passing attack late in the season with Noah Brown (kidney) on the injured reserve. During the final three weeks of the season, Zaccheaus averaged a solid 68.7 yards per game and found the end zone three times but hit a skid in the wild-card game. Zaccheaus should have a good opportunity to bounce back next Saturday evening, facing a struggling Detroit secondary that has allowed the second-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.

Olamide Zaccheaus Carries Upside At Low Cost Against Tampa Bay

Washington Commanders wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus is an intriguing value play in DFS formats this weekend, facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Since Noah Brown (kidney) has been placed on the injured reserve, Zaccheaus has grown into the No.2 wide receiver over the past four weeks. During this span, Zaccheaus has seen a solid 6.5 targets per game and averaged 15.3 PPR points per game. After tallying just 36 yards in Week 15, he averaged an impressive 68.7 yards per game over the final three games of the season. During this three-game stint, he found the end zone three times. Facing a Tampa Bay secondary that has allowed the seventh-most PPR points to opposing wideouts makes Zaccheaus a strong value play in DFS formats this weekend.
