Saints Agree With Dillon Radunz On One-Year Deal

The New Orleans Saints agreed to terms with unrestricted free-agent offensive lineman Dillon Radunz on Monday on an undisclosed one-year deal, the team announced. Radunz will head to the NFC South after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans, where he started 31 of the 54 games that he appeared in. The 26-year-old was originally selected by the Titans in the second round (53rd overall) in 2021 out of North Dakota State. Radunz will now have the opportunity to compete with the likes of Nick Saldiveri, Landon Young and Kyle Hergel for a guard spot on New Orleans' offensive line under new head coach Kellen Moore in 2025. He proved his versatility in his four years with the Titans, seeing time at both guard spots and both tackle positions. However, he made all 15 of his starts a year ago at right guard.

Dillon Radunz Visiting With Saints

The New Orleans Saints are bringing in free-agent offensive guard Dillon Radunz for a visit. Radunz is a former second-round pick of the Tennessee Titans from 2021. He began his career as a rotational player, but was a full-time starter with the Titans this past season. Radunz moved around the o-line quite a bit, so he does have experience at both the guard and tackle spots. He earned a 63.9 PFF pass-blocking grade last season. The Saints are exploring possible replacement options for Lucas Patrick who is currently a free agent. Radunz isn't an elite option, but he could be serviceable and affordable for the Saints.

Titans Select Tackle Dillon Radunz

With the 53rd pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans have selected North Dakota State offensive tackle Dillon Radunz. Coming from the FCS level, Radunz will have a lot of work to do to adjust to the size of NFL pass rushers, but he's a tough player who should be able to crack this starting unit at some point. In 2021, he'll likely play more of a reserve role for the Titans, but having played in a similar scheme in college should help him transition to the NFL. His quickness should also help create room for quarterback Ryan Tannehill when Radunz is on the field for pass protection.
