Greg Dortch Misses Another Practice on Thursday

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch (chest) missed a second straight day of practice this week on Thursday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Dortch apparently suffered a chest injury in last week's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is firmly in danger of missing the Week 14 contest this Sunday against the division-rival Los Angeles Rams. In addition to Dortch, Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) looks iffy to play this weekend as well, which would leave Michael Wilson as the target hog once again in Arizona's passing game. Xavier Weaver and Andre Baccellia would be included in the starting lineup if both Dortch and Harrison are ruled out. Dortch is extremely hard to trust when he's the WR3 for the Cardinals, but he did deliver fantasy-relevant numbers in the two games that Harrison missed after having an appendectomy in Weeks 11 and 12, catching 12 of 15 targets for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

Greg Dortch Misses Wednesday's Practice With Chest Injury

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch (chest) was a non-participant during Wednesday's practice session. Dortch joined fellow wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) on the injury report to begin Week 14. The 27-year-old gave fantasy managers a dud last week after two straight strong performances when Harrison was sidelined following an appendectomy. Dortch hauled in 12 receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns while Harrison missed two games due to injury. Last week, Dortch was held to two receptions for 14 yards with Harrison back on the field. If Dortch and Harrison are unable to play in Week 14, Xavier Weaver figures to see increased playing time. The second-year wideout has been a non-factor in fantasy leagues to this point. If both Dortch and Harrison are out, Michael Wilson will likely handle as many targets as he can.

Greg Dortch a Name to Monitor With Teammate Injured Again

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch returned to Earth on Sunday after back-to-back games in which he caught at least six passes for over 50 yards and a score. Not coincidentally, these games coincided with the two-game absence of Marvin Harrison Jr. following the second-year wideout's emergency appendectomy. With Harrison back in the lineup for a Week 13 loss to the Buccaneers, Dortch caught only two passes for 14 yards. However, Harrison finished the game with a heel injury that now threatens to sideline him yet again. Fantasy managers need to monitor Arizona's injury report heading into their Week 14 matchup with the Rams, but should Harrison miss any time, Dortch enters back into the flex conversation, while Michael Wilson slots back in as the WR1 in a fantasy-friendly Cardinals offense.

Greg Dortch Has a Limited Role in Cardinals Offense in Week 13 Loss to Tampa Bay

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch had two catches for 14 yards on two targets in Sunday's crushing 20-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13. The 27-year-old had seen 15 targets in his previous two games. Dortch was the odd man out of the Cardinals' passing attack in Marvin Harrison Jr.'s first game back from his appendectomy surgery. With Harrison's return, the Cardinals' pass-catching room has become crowded with over five different receiving options for quarterback Jacoby Brissett to get the ball to. Dortch will be a touchdown-dependent flex option in deeper leagues heading into a difficult Week 14 matchup against rival Los Angeles Rams.

Greg Dortch Could Lose Most of his Fantasy Intrigue if Teammate Returns

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch could be in for a downtick in production this Sunday if teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) returns to action. Dortch has been solid over Arizona's previous two contests, racking up six catches and a touchdown in each, with Harrison Jr. sidelined due to an appendectomy. For as serviceable as the former's been, his workload is set to taper off significantly upon Harrison Jr.'s return. Despite Arizona airing it out at a pace of 50 pass attempts per game over their last three, the presence of an emerging Michael Wilson and superstar tight end Trey McBride will make it too tricky for quarterback Jacoby Brissett to support four fantasy-worthy options. If Harrison Jr. sits another week, Dortch would be a nice PPR play against the hosting Buccaneers.

Greg Dortch Offering Starting Value With Teammate Out

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch has delivered back-to-back productive games with Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) sidelined. Over the past two weeks, Dortch has caught 12 passes on 15 targets for 119 yards and a touchdown in each game. Dortch has played 65% of the snaps during this period, more than doubling the snaps he previously played. Head coach Jonathan Gannon stated that there is no timetable for Harrison's return, which gives Dortch the opportunity to continue producing. The Cardinals face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13, who have allowed the tenth most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. If Harrison remains out, Dortch should remain a valuable asset for fantasy managers.

Greg Dortch Drawing More Attention in Fantasy After Scoring Another TD

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch has caught 12 of his 15 targets for 119 yards and two touchdowns in the last two games, with Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) sidelined after undergoing an appendectomy. In the Week 12 overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, the 27-year-old caught six of a season-high nine targets for 53 yards and scored for the second week in a row. He also carried the ball twice but lost five yards as a runner. Dortch has come alive the last two weeks with Harrison sidelined, and with Harrison's status unknown for a Week 13 date with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dortch is worth a look on the waiver wire this week as WR depth. In deeper leagues, Dortch could continue to be an option as a WR4/flex play, even when Harrison returns, as the Cardinals' offense has become very pass-heavy with Jacoby Brissett under center.

Greg Dortch Offers Flex Value for Week 12

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch should once again see an expanded role in the receiving game this weekend. Fellow wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) has been ruled out for a second straight game. Last week, Dortch hauled in all six of his targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Prior to that, Dortch went two straight games without a catch. That being said, Dortch doesn't seem to carry much long-term value, but is worth a look while Harrison is out. Given his success last week, Dortch should once again see a good volume in the passing game. He'll get a favorable matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has struggled to contain the passing game. Dortch should be viewed as a flex option for this weekend.

Greg Dortch is a Viable Flex Option in Deeper PPR Leagues in Week 12

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch is coming off his best fantasy performance this year with six catches for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Heading into Week 12 in a favorable matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Dortch is RotoBaller's 40th-ranked wide receiver in PPR Leagues. The 27-year-old will see an extended role in a pass-happy offense for a second straight week, with teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) ruled out. He will face a Jaguars defense that has allowed the 10th most receiving yards and the fifth most receiving touchdowns this season. Dortch should be viewed as a WR4 with upside in Week 12 and a viable flex option in deeper leagues.

Greg Dortch Emerging As Fantasy Option?

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch stepped up in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers with Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) out, catching all six targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the loss. It marked the second touchdown of the season for Dortch and his second game playing close to a full-time role with a 66.2% snap share. His next highest came back in Week 4, playing 65.6% of the snaps and hauling in four of his five targets for 35 yards against the Seahawks. The 27-year-old's playing time has been inconsistent otherwise, ranging from 7.8% one week to as high as 42.9% in another. However, with Harrison already ruled out for Week 12 against the Jaguars, Dortch should be expected to see more reps again. He could be worth plugging in as a potential flex in deeper leagues with the pass volume Arizona has had over the past few weeks.
