According to the team, Washington Commanders defensive end Javontae Jean-Baptiste (shoulder) is officially active for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jean-Baptiste was a limited participant during practice throughout the week and carried a questionable tag on the final injury report. However, the 24-year-old lineman was able to turn the corner. Jean-Baptiste has been deployed as a rotational piece on the defensive one throughout the regular season but could have a slightly increased role in this contest with defensive tackle Daron Payne (finger) inactive.
