Joel Wilson Signs With Saints
The New Orleans Saints signed Central Michigan tight end Joel Wilson to an undrafted free agent contract on May 1. The 22-year-old started his final two seasons at Central Michigan, catching 75 passes for 812 yards and 12 touchdowns. His six touchdowns in 2021 were the eighth-most in the Mid-American Conference. As a fifth-year senior in 2022, he tied for No. 14 in receiving yards and No. 8 in touchdowns amongst all FBS tight ends. Wilson will compete against Lucas Krull and Miller Forristall for a roster spot.
