The New York Jets and linebacker Quincy Williams agreed to a three-year, $18 million contract extension on Sunday that maxes out at $21 million with incentives, according to a source. Williams has recorded back-to-back 100-tackles seasons for the Jets while playing with his little brother Quinnen Williams. In his fourth NFL season, the 26-year-old officially had 106 tackles (74 solo), three sacks, 12 tackles for loss and six QB hits in 15 starts for Gang Green in 2022. He's not all that great in coverage, but Williams has proven to be useful the last two seasons in IDP formats because of his ability to play downhill and stop the run.
