Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back Tyson Campbell (thigh) is officially deemed questionable for his team's meeting with the Tennessee Titans in Week 14. In last weekend's 23-20 loss to the Houston Texans, Campbell picked up a thigh injury, participating in just 35 snaps (60%). He'd previously been over 90% of the team's snaps in the prior four contests. While the 24-year-old kicked off the week with a DNP, he'd be upgraded to limited sessions on Thursday and Friday before being labeled as questionable. The fourth-year corner has already missed five games this season with a thigh injury. If Campbell cannot play, DB Jarrian Jones projects to pick up the slack in the Jags' defensive backfield.

Tyson Campbell Questionable To Return Sunday
Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell (thigh) exited during the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Houston Texans and is officially questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had made three tackles, bringing his season total to 34. The Jaguars suddenly find themselves shorthanded at cornerback with Campbell sidelined and Jarrian Jones ejected. As a result, Montaric Brown should earn more defensive snaps until Campbell can return.

Tyson Campbell Cleared For Sunday
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back Tyson Campbell (hamstring) is active ahead of the Week 7 matchup against the New England Patriots. Campbell has missed the last four games while being on the injured reserve due to a hamstring issue. Luckily, Campbell was able to practice this week and has been activated ahead of this contest in London. The 24-year-old has been limited to one game this season, but is a difference maker when healthy. Campbell should resume his role as the top defensive back on this team which should give the Jaguars defense a boost on Sunday.

Jaguars Place Tyson Campbell On Injured Reserve, Sign Tre Flowers
The Jacksonville Jaguars placed cornerback Tyson Campbell (hamstring) on Injured Reserve on Thursday, meaning he will miss at least the next four games. Campbell picked up a hamstring injury during the Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins, and he was expected to miss significant time. The 2021 second-round pick out of Georgia has racked up 207 tackles (149 solo), two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, six interceptions, and 30 pass deflections in his first 44 career games. After placing him on IR, the Jaguars signed Tre Flowers to the active roster, who will provide depth in the secondary for the next few games. Rookie fourth-round pick De'Antre Prince could start in Campbell's place in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.

Tyson Campbell Set To Miss Some Time
Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell (hamstring) is set to miss some time after getting injured in the Week 1 season-opening loss in Miami to the Dolphins on Sunday, according to head coach Doug Pederson. When asked if Campbell could be back in time for a trip to London in Week 6, Pederson said he didn't want to put any kind of timeline on his return. We don't have any idea just yet how many weeks the 24-year-old will have to miss, but either way, it's a serious blow to Jacksonville's secondary, as Campbell came into the year as their top corner. For the foreseeable future, the Jags will have to turn to some combination of Deantre Prince and Montaric Brown in the starting lineup, beginning in Week 2 at home against the Cleveland Browns. Campbell, a second-round pick in 2021 out of Georgia, had 145 solo tackles, six interceptions and 30 pass breakups in 43 games (42 starts) in his first three seasons.

Jaguars Sign Tyson Campbell To Four-Year Extension
The Jacksonville Jaguars signed cornerback Tyson Campbell to a four-year, $76.5 million contract extension on Tuesday. The 24-year-old arrived in Jacksonville as the 33rd overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft out of Georgia, and he's been a starter in all three of his years in the league. He missed six games with a hamstring injury in 2023, but the Jaguars think he's going to be healthy moving forward and a big part of their secondary in 2024. In his first three seasons in the NFL, Campbell has totaled 203 tackles (145 solo), six tackles for loss, six interceptions, 30 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, including one returned for a touchdown, in 43 games (42 starts). Three of his interceptions came in his second year in the league in 2022.

Jags Take Tyson Campbell At 33
The Jacksonville Jaguars have used the 33rd pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Georgia defensive back Tyson Campbell. It seems like an odd pick for a Jaguars team that didn't seem to have the biggest need at corner. Campbell had just one interception in college and will need to figure out some things in terms of coverage in the NFL. Jacksonville's defense has been strong in the past and has some strong pieces, so it wouldn't be a shock to see this defense return to the top tier of fantasy defenses.

Tyson Campbell Taken By Jacksonville To Begin Round 2
Jacksonville selected Georgia corner Tyson Campbell with the No. 33 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Friday night. The former Bulldog finished his collegiate career with 55 tackles and was one of the most reliable defenders in college football. His height, speed, and size make him a threat for opposing offenses, and fantasy managers looking for IDP help in Dynasty formats should keep him in mind toward the later rounds.
