Dustin Wolf Looks To Return To Winning Ways Versus Stars
Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will attempt to end a two-game losing streak in Sunday's matchup against Dallas. Following an impressive 5-0-1 run, Wolf has allowed four goals in back-to-back games, taking a pair of beating from Ottawa and Columbus. He has yet to lose three starts on the trot this season. Wolf's consistency has given him an 8-4-1 record with a 2.60 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage, and one shutout. However, to get back to winning ways on Sunday, Wolf has to outplay Jake Oettinger, whose work has helped the Stars to a 10-2-0 home record and who's tied for the second-most wins in the league (13).

Nikita Kucherov Returns With Three-Point Effort
Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov had a big comeback game on Sunday against Vancouver, notching three points in a 4-2 road win. Kucherov, who had missed the previous two games with an undisclosed injury, went for a goal and two assists in the contest, logging both of his helpers on the power play. Tampa's Russian star has now finished half of his last six appearances with three points. The injury tried to slow down Kucherov, but it looks like it didn't have any impact on his form. Kucherov is closing in on 40 points for the season, sitting on 13 goals and 24 assists through 23 outings.

Petr Mrazek Placed On injured Reserve

The Blackhawks remain without Laurent Brossoit (knee), meaning Arvid Soderblom, who's gone 1-6-1 so far, will be in line for a lot of extra work. Jaxson Stauber Faces Flyers Sunday
Utah Hockey Club goaltender Jaxson Stauber will get the start for Sunday's matchup against Philadelphia. This marks only his second appearance of the season. Philadelphia has produced 2.89 goals per game this season, so Stauber finds himself in a decent spot to log another victory on Sunday.

Leon Draisaitl Logs Two Helpers On Saturday
Edmonton Oilers center Leon Draisaitl tallied two helpers in Saturday's victory over the St. Louis Blues. Draisaitl tallied his first point on a secondary assist on Corey Perry's opening goal. Later in the second, Draisaitl tallied his second helper, this time on the power-play on Zach Hyman's strike. This was the 29-year-old's second-straight contest tallying at least two points. Over his past eight games, Draisaitl has only been held off the scoresheet twice and has tallied 12 points in this span. Through 27 total games, Draisaitl has scored 19 times and added 17 assists. Darcy Kuemper Sharp In Return
Los Angeles Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper was sharp in his return to action on Saturday as he stopped 22 of the 23 shots he faced en route to defeating the Minnesota Wild. The Wild's lone goal came on a Yakov Trenin wrist shot late in the final frame. Before his injury, Kuemper lost his previous three outings. Overall, through his first 11 games in Los Angeles, the 34-year-old has posted a .904% SV with a 2.50 GAA. Alexandar Georgiev Busy In Saturday's Victory
Colorado Avalanche goaltender Alexandar Georgiev stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced during his victory over the Detroit Red Wings. The Avalanche got out to a two-goal lead, and Georgiev was able to keep Detroit contained. His lone blemish came late in the second period on a deflection by Lucas Raymond. Overall, Georgiev sits with a 3.38 GAA and .874% SV. Despite this promising showing, fantasy managers should continue to view Georgiev as a high-risk streaming option in favorable matchups, given his struggles throughout the opening months of the season.

Cam Talbot To Miss At Least Two More Games
Detroit Red Wings goaltender Cam Talbot (lower body) will remain on the shelf Saturday versus Colorado and won't be ready to return on Monday against Buffalo, either. The veteran has already sat out two games with a lower-body injury. Per Ansar Khan of MLive.com, Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde has confirmed that Alex Lyon (lower body) also isn't ready to return, so the team will continue to lean on Ville Husso between the sticks. The Finnish netminder has yet to taste victory in 2024-25, going 0-3-2 with a 3.69 goals-against average and a .877 save percentage. It's been a nightmare so far for Husso, and things could get ugly for him again on Saturday against an Avalanche offense that Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen power. Sebastian Cossa, who has yet to make his NHL debut, will continue to work as the Red Wings backup.
