Darius Rush Expected To Be Signed By Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers plan to sign cornerback Darius Rush off of the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad. Rush will take the roster spot of cornerback Desmond King, who the Steelers plan to trade or release in the next day or two. Pittsburgh showed interest in the rookie Rush during the pre-draft process but it was the Indianapolis Colts who wound up taking Rush in the fifth round of the draft. The Colts then cut him to get their roster down to 53 before the season and the Chiefs scooped him up and placed him on their practice squad. Rush should get a chance to get on the field for a Pittsburgh secondary that has not been a team strength in 2023.
