Ja'Marr Chase Projected to See More Targets in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is having a down year compared to last. However, he still ranks among the top wideouts in the National Football League, which isn't much of surprise to anyone. The former LSU Tiger is coming off a rough showing in the Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills, catching only five passes (eight targets) for 44 yards. Instead, it was Tee Higgins (concussion) who led the way on the receiving end, finding the end zone twice. Unfortunately, Higgins won't play in Sunday's meeting with the Ravens, just like when these clubs met in Week 13. Chase was certainly more productive in that one, ending with seven grabs for 110 yards. More importantly, he was targeted 14 times. While Chase is always a must-start, his ceiling is much higher without Higgins in the mix in Week 15.

Ja'Marr Chase Looking to Keep Cincinnati on the Winning Path Versus Buffalo

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase didn't find the end zone in the win over the Ravens in Week 13. However, the wideout still finished with seven catches for 110 yards while being targeted 14 times. Tee Higgins (concussion) wasn't available for that one, so Chase had to pick up most of the slack in Joe Burrow's first game in over two months. With Higgins back for the Week 14 showdown with the Buffalo Bills, the 25-year-old will presumably see less attention on the receiving end. Still, there should be more than enough opportunities for Chase to finish as a top fantasy producer in a contest that could feature plenty of offense from both sides, assuming the weather in Buffalo cooperates.

Ja'Marr Chase Helps Bengals Snap Four-Game Skid on Thanksgiving

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase returned from his one-game suspension in the Thanksgiving win over the Baltimore Ravens. The wideout played well, amassing seven catches off a team-high 14 targets for 110 yards (15.7 YPC). With Joe Burrow (toe) back on the field after two-plus months on the shelf, it didn't take the duo long to reconnect to help the Bengals snap their four-game skid. Granted, with Tee Higgins (concussion) sidelined, there were a few extra targets up for grabs. However, Burrow should continue to look in Chase's direction often in Week 14 versus the Bills, a club that has struggled defensively of late. That likely won't change even if Higgins is back in the equation.

Ja'Marr Chase Ready to Roll on Thanksgiving After Suspension

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase will return from a one-game absence for the Thanksgiving AFC North showdown versus Baltimore. The wideout remains a top fantasy option at the position. Although he has only five touchdowns, he has made up for it by totaling 79 catches for 861 yards, doing so without Joe Burrow (toe) for most of the season. Fortunately, Burrow will be back after suffering a toe injury in the Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. While the 25-year-old and Joe Flacco (shoulder) appeared to have a good thing going, Burrow is considered an upgrade, even if he struggled in his brief time on the field this season. The absence of Tee Higgins (concussion) might make Chase even more productive despite the expectation of increased attention from the Ravens defense, giving him plenty of upside for fantasy managers on Thursday night.

Ja'Marr Chase Set to Return on Thanksgiving

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase will return on Thanksgiving night against the Baltimore Ravens after serving a one-game suspension for spitting on Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey. Chase unsuccessfully appealed the suspension after clearly being caught on video doing the unsportsmanlike act. The superstar wideout is back, however, and will be joined by his star quarterback, Joe Burrow, in a big Week 13 divisional game. In two games against Baltimore last season, Chase caught 10 of 12 targets for 193 yards and two touchdowns, and then 11 of 17 targets for 264 yards and three touchdowns. With fellow star wideout Tee Higgins (concussion) ruled out, Chase should be in for a huge game on Thanksgiving night.

Ja'Marr Chase Being Suspended for One Game for Unsportsmanlike Conduct

The NFL is suspending Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase for one game for unsportsmanlike conduct after he was caught on video spitting on Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey on Sunday, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Barring a successful appeal of his suspension, Chase will miss the Week 12 contest on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Chase's conduct led to an altercation in which Ramsey threw punches at Chase, causing him to be ejected from the Week 11 game. The 25-year-old will now most likely miss this weekend's game against the Pats, so fantasy managers should shift him to their bench this week. Tee Higgins will operate as quarterback Joe Flacco's top target for that one and will draw the attention of Pats cornerback Christian Gonzalez. Andrei Iosivas will be the No. 2 this Sunday, making him worth flex consideration. Tight end Noah Fant will also be more attractive as a TE streamer in Week 12.

NFL Will Review Week 11 Scuffle Between Ja'Marr Chase and Jalen Ramsey

The NFL will be reviewing the on-field incident that occurred between Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and Pittsburgh Steelers safety Jalen Ramsey towards the end of the Week 11 matchup between the two teams, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Ramsey was ejected from the game after throwing a punch at Chase, and after the game, he told reporters that Chase spat on him. There's a video circulating where it certainly looks as though that may have been the case, although it will be up to the NFL to make that final determination. Rapoport mentions that "precedent is there" for a suspension to be levied for spitting on an opponent, referencing the incident from earlier this season where Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter spat on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. While nothing has been determined yet, fantasy managers should be aware that Chase could be in danger of missing Cincinnati's Week 12 matchup against the New England Patriots.

Ja'Marr Chase Ready for Another Productive Outing Versus Pittsburgh

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was quiet in three of his first four games to begin the 2025 campaign. However, it's been a different story since the Week 5 loss to the Detroit Lions, with the wideout combining for 50 grabs (72 targets) for 567 yards and four touchdowns in his last five appearances. Most assumed Chase would lose his fantasy luster once Joe Burrow (toe) went on the Injured Reserve list. While that was mostly true when Jake Browning was under center, it didn't take him long to build strong on-field chemistry with Joe Flacco. The veteran signal-caller should continue to pepper Chase with targets moving ahead, including in Sunday's AFC North clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the former LSU Tiger looks to reclaim his spot as the top fantasy receiver.

Ja'Marr Chase Still Leads League in Targets After Bye Week

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase remains the league-leader in targets following the team's Week 10 bye, building a sizable lead with Joe Flacco at quarterback. Chase has been peppered with targets in Flacco's four starts, recording 44 receptions for 457 yards and two touchdowns on a whopping 62 targets. The 25-year-old has 107 targets on the year, with Chris Olave the next closest at 95. The superstar wideout could also be getting his star QB back soon, with Joe Burrow (toe) having his 21-day practice window opened on Monday. Burrow could be returning soon and pick up where Flacco has left off, as the offense has still thrived in his absence. Chase remains one of the top fantasy options regardless of position every week and will look for another dominant performance in Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ja'Marr Chase Still a Top Fantasy Option No Matter Who is Under Center

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase entered the Week 8 loss to the New York Jets by catching at least one touchdown in each of his previous three games. While the former LSU Tiger didn't find the end zone in that one, he still had 12 catches for 91 yards. With the Bengals coming off a disappointing loss, they will try to get on track on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) didn't practice on Wednesday, which is not uncommon for older players, before being limited in Thursday's session. However, panic set in for fantasy managers when he didn't practice on Friday and was slapped with a questionable designation for Week 9. Fortunately, there's reason to believe the signal-caller will be out there on Sunday. It appears Flacco and Chase have quickly developed strong on-field chemistry in a short span, so the duo should continue to connect in the meeting with the Bears. If Flacco can't suit up, Jake Browning would be back under center. Although Browning's presence would presumably lower Chase's ceiling, the wideout remains a must-start for obvious reasons.
