Mike Gesicki News
Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki hauled in two of six targets for 15 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills. Much like his fellow pass-catchers, Gesicki struggled to form a rapport with third-string quarterback Skylar Thompson. However, he salvaged his performance by scoring a touchdown for the second time over the last three weeks. Despite a strong end to the season, this was a tough year for Gesicki, whose 32 catches and 362 yards were his lowest marks since he was a rookie in 2018. He is scheduled to hit free agency in March and could quite possibly find a new home for next season and beyond.
Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki finds himself back in DFS consideration ahead of Wild Card Weekend versus the Buffalo Bills. Gesicki underwhelmed for most of the season, but he has totaled six catches, 64 yards, and one touchdown through the last two games that Tua Tagovailoa (head) has missed. Miami will start Skylar Thompson once again this week, and it remains likely that he continues to rely on Gesicki as a trustworthy option in the passing game. The tight end is definitely worth considering as you place bets and set your lineups this weekend.
Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki turned six targets into four catches for 46 yards during Sunday's win over the New York Jets. He led all Miami pass-catchers in targets and receiving yards. Gesicki was held without a catch from Weeks 12 to 14, so it has been refreshing to see him get more involved in the offense. In fact, the 27-year-old now has six catches, 64 yards, one touchdown, and 18.4 fantasy points over his last two games. He seems to have benefited from the Dolphins playing their backup quarterbacks. If Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) remains sidelined next week, Gesicki could have some DFS appeal while catching passes from Thompson or Teddy Bridgewater (finger).

Gesicki gets better every year, and 2021 was no exception. Miami's starting tight end set career-highs with 73 receptions, 112 targets, and 780 receiving yards. Even though rookie receiver Jaylen Waddle topped the team with 140 targets, Gesicki was easily the No. 2 option in the Tua Tagovailoa-led passing attack thanks to a lack of depth and playmakers in the Dolphins receiving corps. That will not be the case in 2022, though. Ownership ponied up multimillions to bring Tyreek Hill and his fleet...
