Kendrick Bourne News
New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne finished with seven catches for 77 yards and two touchdowns during the blowout loss to the Bills on Saturday night. It was a frigid affair for all involved, and while the rest of the Pats' offense struggled, the wideout was the only bright spot. Nevertheless, the 26-year-old, former San Francisco 49er wasn't the most potent fantasy option this season. However, if Mac Jones can keep progressing and Jakobi Meyers, who is a restricted free agent, doesn't return, Bourne could see an uptick in production during the 2022-23 season.
New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne was able to make his presence known in Week 17. He hauled in five of his six targets for 76 yards in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. This game was a blowout early otherwise Bourne could've seen an even bigger day. Regardless, fantasy managers in PPR formats will take this performance from Bourne. Those 76 yards were the most for Bourne since Week 10. He could put himself into the flex conversation in deep league heading into the regular season finale against the Miami Dolphins.
New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne could be looking at an increased workload in Week 17. Fellow wideout Jakobi Meyers (thigh) is uncertain for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That means, Bourne could be asked to step up in the receiving game. It's worth noting that Bourne hasn't hauled in more than three receptions in a game since Week 12. Although, Bourne does normally catch whatever is thrown at him. Sadly, Bourne doesn't normally do much after the catch, which hurts his value. Luckily, the Jaguars currently rank 31st in pass DVOA this season. That being said, Bourne could find himself as a low-end flex option in PPR formats, assuming Meyers does sit out.
