San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell caught his third touchdown of the season in the team's 21-20 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The five-yard score was his only catch of the day on five targets. The seventh-round pick finishes 2023 with six receptions for 68 yards and three touchdowns. Bell has flashed some skill this season and the 49ers appear to have found a bargain considering Bell's draft slot, but he's unlikely to become fantasy-relevant as long as Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel are still around.

Ronnie Bell Could Be A Sneaky DFS Play In Week 18
San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell is expected to get increased playing time in a Week 18 meaningless home matchup versus the Los Angeles Rams. Having locked up the No. 1 seed last week, the 49ers have elected to rest quarterback Brock Purdy and running back Christian McCaffrey (calf). Head coach Kyle Shanahan hasn't divulged a specific personnel plan for other positions, but it stands to reason that receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel may be protected to some degree. Bell seems to be positioned to benefit the most as Jauan Jennings (concussion) is out and Bell is the only other 49er wideout with a touchdown this season, having received one of his two touchdowns in Week 16 from Darnold. That being said, Ray-Ray McCloud, Willie Snead IV, or even Chris Conley could end up being the sneaky plays. Bell would be a risk and is not recommended for lineups in Week 18 championships, but if worth a DFS look if the price is right.

Ronnie Bell Catches Second Touchdown In Loss
San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell caught his only target for a 12-yard touchdown in Christmas night's 33-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The seventh-round pick caught his second career touchdown on a slot post from backup quarterback Sam Darnold. Bell was in line for increased snaps after usual third receiver Jauan Jennings (concussion) was ruled out earlier in the week. Bell now totals five receptions on seven targets for 63 yards and two touchdowns in 2023. It's possible Bell becomes fantasy-relevant at some point in his career but neither Bell nor Jennings will be useful in Week 17.

Ronnie Bell Could Be Targeted Against Cardinals
San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell may be in line for significant playing time for the second consecutive week when the team hosts the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Last week with Brandon Aiyuk sidelined, Bell caught both of his targets for 24 yards and scored his first NFL touchdown on his first career reception. Although Aiyuk is returning this week, Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee) is questionable, and usual third receiver Jauan Jennings (shin) is doubtful. If both Samuel and Jennings are sidelined, Bell could be a sneaky but risky last-minute pickup and play. However, if at least one of them plays, Bell should not be considered for fantasy lineups.

Ronnie Bell Scores First NFL Touchdown In Primetime
San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell scored his first career touchdown on his first career reception in Thursday night's 30-12 win over the New York Giants. The seventh-round pick in this year's draft had a modest day otherwise, catching both of his two targets for 24 yards. While Bell looks like a good fit in the 49ers offense after tonight and a solid preseason, he probably would have remained catchless if not for starting receiver Brandon Aiyuk being sidelined with a shoulder injury. Bell still has a long way to go before fantasy relevance and should be left in the free-agent pool, except in the deepest dynasty leagues.

Ronnie Bell Leads 49ers In Receiving Again
Rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell paced the San Francisco 49ers in receiving for the second-straight preseason game on Saturday. In the 21-20 defeat of the Denver Broncos, Bell caught seven passes on nine targets for 114 yards, including a 43-yard catch-and-run. He did have a drop that bounced off his face mask and into the air for an interception, but the seventh-round pick appears to be making an excellent case for making the opening-day roster. Bell remains off the fantasy radar for now.

Ronnie Bell Heavily Involved In Offense Against Raiders
San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell had three catches for 58 yards on six targets in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He also chipped in 15 yards rushing on one carry. Bell, a seventh-round pick out of Michigan, made the most of his first NFL action with head coach Kyle Shanahan choosing to rest virtually all of his regular offensive weapons. Bell will hope to continue to see opportunities on Friday night against the Chargers as he competes for a roster spot.
