The Jacksonville Jaguars placed offensive lineman Walker Little on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday. If he's vaccinated, Little will have a chance to pass through the league's protocols and be active for the Week 3 contest against the Arizona Cardinals. He was the 45th overall pick in the second round this year but hasn't seen any action in the first two weeks of the 2021 season. With very few experience with football after he started playing in 2019 in college, the Jaguars are hoping to develop Little during his rookie season. Even if Little is able to clear the league's COVID-19 protocols, it's unlikely that he'll see the field this week to make his NFL debut.

A highly-touted prospect out of high school, injury and opt out have essentially sidelined him for the past two seasons. He'll have to readjust to playing football, but if Little is healthy, he projects to be a strong pass blocker who can keep No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence upright. Don't expect to see Little on the field from day one, but he could wind up being one of the top linemen from this year's draft.
