Alec Ingold Fantasy

Miami Dolphins fullback Alec Ingold said on ESPN's Adam Schefter's podcast that he expects quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) to be back healthy in 2023. Ingold also said that Tagovailoa will be taking Judo classes in the offseason in order to learn how to fall better to prevent injuries like the ones that led to two concussions during the 2022 season. Tagovailoa is expected to be deliberate and determined about his comeback in 2023 after playing in only 13 games last season for the second year in a row due to injuries. The 24-year-old had his best NFL campaign in his third season, throwing for 3,548 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions. His 8.9 yard-per-attempt average and 13.7 yards per completion led the league. If he can stay healthy, Tagovailoa should have some QB1 appeal in the right matchups in 2023.

Miami Dolphins fullback Alec Ingold was productive against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10, catching four passes for 45 yards and one touchdown. This was the best fantasy outing of the 26-year-old's career, but don't expect him to repeat this type of production anytime soon. The Dolphins are on bye in Week 11.

Fullback Alec Ingold has agreed to a two-year deal with Miami, paying him up to $7.5 million. Ingold played his entire career with the Raiders, accumulating just three touchdowns throughout the last three seasons. He tore his ACL during the Week 10 AFC West matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, although he's expected to recover fully. Nevertheless, Ingold doesn't directly offer much from a fantasy standpoint. Yet, his blocking prowess could do wonders for Tua Tagovailoa's development while also opening up some holes for his teammates out of the backfield.
