Andre Szmyt Fantasy Stats

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt can be counted on as a starting kicker option for fantasy teams in Week 8 at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Szmyt is 14-of-16 on field goals this season and 11-of-12 on extra points. Szmyt has a season-long field goal of 56 yards, which he made against Pittsburgh in Week 4. Szmyt had a good performance against the Steelers in the first matchup, making 2-of-2 field goals and 3-of-3 extra points. The matchup at Pittsburgh should be fairly high scoring, giving Szmyt the opportunity to convert on some field goals and extra points. Szmyt has entered the circle of trusted fantasy kickers and can be counted on this week.

The Cleveland Browns announced on Wednesday that they tendered a contract to exclusive-rights free-agent kicker Andre Szmyt, among others. In his first year in the NFL, Szmyt made 24 of his 27 field-goal tries and missed just one of his 26 extra-point attempts in 17 games played in Cleveland. The 27-year-old will return to Cleveland for the 2026 season and should be expected to open the regular season as their starting placekicker. Szmyt was dependable for the Browns as a rookie, but he was only the No. 26 kicker in terms of overall fantasy points in a Browns offense that didn't create many scoring opportunities. Szmyt averaged only 5.7 fantasy points per game. He was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 3 in 2025. Szmyt is a solid young kicker, but in 12-team fantasy leagues, you can find better, higher-ceiling options at the position.

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szymt made all three of his field-goal attempts in a Week 6 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a rough Week 1 where he missed a field goal and an extra point, Szymt has hit all eight of his field-goal tries in the five games since. He will look to stay hot at home in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have struggled against kickers this season, allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to the position. That being said, the Cleveland offense has not moved the ball consistently enough this season to trust Szymt as a fantasy option. He should not be in starting lineups heading into Week 7.

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szymt hit his lone field-goal attempt and added two extra points in a Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London. Szymt has been up-and-down in his first season as Cleveland's kicker, hitting six of his eight field goals and all but one of his eight extra points. He will now head on the road to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. The Steelers have generally struggled on defense this season, allowing 24.5 points per game, but they have been stingy against fantasy kickers, allowing just the 26th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Szymt is not a strong fantasy choice and should not be in starting lineups this weekend.

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt will head to London to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. Szmyt has been up and down this season, hitting five of his seven field-goal tries while making all but one of his six extra points. The Browns could struggle to move the ball against an excellent Minnesota defense, especially with third-round rookie Dillon Gabriel making his NFL debut on Sunday. Szmyt should not be in starting lineups for fantasy teams in Week 5.

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt did his best to make people forget about a rough start to the season, hitting a game-winning 55-yard field goal to down the Green Bay Packers 13-10 in Week 3. He will look to keep it going on the road against the Detroit Lions in Week 4. Overall, Szmyt has hit four of his five field goals and all but one of his five extra points through three games. That being said, the Browns have not been great on offense this season, which has not afforded Szmyt many scoring chances. He is not a recommended fantasy option heading into Week 4 against Detroit.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver DeAndre Carter (concussion) and kicker Andre Szmyt (calf) are both active and ready to go for Week 3's matchup against the Packers. Carter had to leave last week's game with a concussion, and Szmyt popped up on the injury report on Friday with a calf injury. He underwent an MRI, but everything looked good, so he's available as an emergency option at the position if needed. Carter has not played an offensive snap yet for the Browns, but he is an important special teams contributor, and he should be back in that role on Sunday after clearing the concussion protocol.

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt (calf) is expected to play on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Szmyt had a scare on Friday, but he's cleared to kick in Week 3. The rookie has had an up-and-down start, missing a game-winning attempt in Week 1 and converting his only try in Week 2. Facing a tough Packers defense, the Browns' offense may struggle to generate scoring opportunities, limiting Szmyt's fantasy upside. He should remain off fantasy lineups for Week 3.

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Green Bay Packers. Szmyt was not listed on their injury report on Wednesday and Thursday, but was listed as a limited participant during their final session on Friday. Managers should keep an eye on his status ahead of Sunday's contest, as he may not be able to progress enough to suit up to face the Packers. The 26-year-old signed a contract with the Browns in the offseason and has had mixed results in his first two NFL games. In Week 1, Szmyt went 1-for-2 on field goals and 1-for-2 on extra points. Then in their second game against the Ravens, Szmyt went 1-for-2 and 2-for-2, respectively. The Browns may look to add a kicker to their practice squad prior to Sunday's game if Szmyt continues to remain in a limited capacity. If he were to suit up, he would not carry much fantasy upside facing a potent Green Bay defense.

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt will take on the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 2. Szmyt did not impress in his first game with the Browns last week, missing one of his two field goals and also misfiring on an extra point in a one-point loss. With many putting at least some of the blame on Szmyt's shoulders for the loss, he will look to bounce back against a Ravens defense that allowed the 14th-most fantasy points per game to the position back in 2024. Szmyt has a lot of pressure on him to improve from last week, but he is too hard to trust in fantasy at the moment.
