A.T. Perry Catches Two Touchdowns In Week 18

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry had the best game of his career in Week 18's win over the Atlanta Falcons. Perry caught all three targets for 53 yards and two touchdowns, showing off a rapport with quarterback Derek Carr. The rookie receiver out of Wake Forest has proven to be a productive red zone target and could see his role in the offense increase with another offseason in the system. He is a solid dynasty stash who flashed his capabilities on Sunday.

A.T. Perry Suiting Up Sunday

New Orleans Saints wide receiver A.T. Perry (illness) is officially active for Week 18 versus the Atlanta Falcons. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after logging a full practice on Friday. The rookie has delivered nine catches, 193 yards, and two touchdowns through nine games, but he remains off the fantasy radar as the Saints' No. 3 receiver behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.

A.T. Perry Returns To Practice Friday

New Orleans Saints wide receiver A.T. Perry (illness) returned to practice on Friday and participated in full. The rookie did not practice on Thursday due to an illness. He is officially tagged as questionable for Week 18's game against the Atlanta Falcons but his return to practice suggests he will be available. Despite numerous injuries to the Saints' other receivers throughout the season, Perry has drawn just 15 targets, making nine catches for 193 yards and two touchdowns. His chances to make his mark in the season finale are slim but could improve if Juwan Johnson (chest) or Alvin Kamara (ankle) sit, leaving Derek Carr short a receiving option or two. In that case, Perry would be a bargain bin DFS play but otherwise would not hold any fantasy value.

A.T. Perry Comes Down With Illness

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry (illness) wasn't feeling well on Thursday and was held out of the team's practice. Perry has several days to rest up and get ready for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. It's a must-win for the Saints to get into the postseason as well, so Perry will likely do everything in his power to be available for the team. The 24-year-old first-year player hasn't really moved the needle in fantasy all year despite several opportunities for increased targets with some of his teammates injured. All in all, Perry has only nine catches all year for 193 yards and two touchdowns on 15 targets, so he'll be a DFS long shot if he's active in Week 18.

A.T. Perry Grabs Touchdown Late In Loss

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry only saw one target on Thursday night late in the game, but he made the most of his volume, as he turned the target into a 35-yard touchdown reception to cut Los Angeles' lead to 10 (then cut to eight with a Chris Olave two-point conversion). Operating as New Orleans' third receiver, Perry has not had significant volume in any game this season but makes the most of his opportunities with explosive plays down the field. The touchdown was Perry's second on the season. Avoid rostering him in season-long formats, but the rookie is an intriguing stash in dynasty.

A.T. Perry Holds Deep-League Value In Week 15

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry has partially filled in for Michael Thomas (knee) in the offense over the past four games, but has made little impact with limited volume (10 total targets). With Chris Olave (ankle) trending towards missing Week 15's tilt against the New York Giants and Rashid Shaheed (thigh) still recovering, Perry could be in line for the biggest workload of his young career. Even if Olave does miss Sunday's contest, Perry still cannot be trusted as a surefire option despite the Giants giving up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing receivers. He has not shown any ability to draw targets, making him a non-trustworthy option. He can be considered as a flex option in deep leagues, but beware his low floor.

A.T. Perry Hauls In 44-Yard Reception In Win

New Orleans Saints wide receiver A.T. Perry only saw one target in the Week 14 win over Carolina, but he hauled the pass in for a 44-yard reception. Despite just having one catch, Perry led New Orleans in receiving yards in the win. The rookie has now made splash plays in back-to-back games, as he hauled in a 30-yard catch in Week 13. While his low target volume does not warrant fantasy consideration at this time, the rookie has a clear talent and is worth monitoring in the event that he does begin to carve out a more consistent role in the passing game. Perry's next opportunity to shine will be in Week 15 against the New York Giants.

A.T. Perry Not On Fantasy Radar In Week 14

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry has seen an uptick in playing time over the past three games with the position group banged up, but it has not translated to significant enough volume to warrant starting him in fantasy lineups. Perry saw three targets in Week 13's loss to Detroit, hauling in a single 30-yard reception. His snap count has decreased each week since seeing 84% of snaps in Week 11, and no New Orleans pass catcher outside of Chris Olave should be trusted against a Carolina defense that limits opposing receiver production (9th).

A.T. Perry Not Very Involved Against Lions

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry was expected to have an expanded role in the passing game in Week 13 against the visiting Detroit Lions with Rashid Shaheed (thigh) ruled out. That wasn't the case in the 33-28 loss on Sunday, as Perry was targeted three times and caught just one of them for a 30-yard pickup. As has been the case for most of the year, top receiver Chris Olave and running back Alvin Kamara were the primary weapons through the air and combined for 16 targets and 11 receptions. The 24-year-old sixth-round pick out of Wake Forest has only four receptions on nine targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in his first five NFL games in 2023. Even if Shaheed misses the Week 14 game against the Carolina Panthers, Perry will be hard to recommend as a deep-league flex, although he could have more upside if quarterback Jameis Winston gets a start over the injured Derek Carr.

A.T. Perry Warrants Flex Consideration In Deep Leagues

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry has only been active in five games this season but has stepped into the starting outside receiver role with Michael Thomas (knee) on injured reserve. Perry played 84% of snaps in Week 10 and caught his first career touchdown, and played 74% of snaps in Week 12 but only saw two targets. With Chris Olave (concussion protocol) and Rashid Shaheed (thigh) banged up, Perry can be considered in deep leagues against a Detroit defense that ranks 29th against opposing receivers in fantasy points per game. Monitor Olave's status - if he can't clear protocol prior to Sunday, the sixth-rounder out of Wake Forest should see significant enough volume to be thrust into lineups.
