Denver Broncos tight end Nate Adkins scored his first touchdown of the season on Sunday to help his team defeat the New York Jets 13-11 in London. The third-year tight end finished the day having caught both of his targets for 23 yards, and his 16-yard scoring connection with quarterback Bo Nix proved to be the only touchdown of the game. Even with his first touchdown in the books, Adkins has just four catches on the season. Behind fellow tight end Evan Engram, who led the team in targets on Sunday, Adkins is unlikely to receive enough volume to be considered for fantasy lineups going forward.

Trautman and Adkins hauled in rookie quarterback Bo Nix's first two touchdown passes of the day in a huge victory that boosts Denver's chances of making the postseason for the first time since they won Super Bowl 50 with Peyton Manning. Trautman finished with two catches on two targets for 20 yards and the score, while Adkins only caught the one TD pass of 15 yards on the day. The Broncos haven't utilized their tight ends much in the offense this year, so neither Trautman nor Adkins should be in consideration for a waiver-wire pickup in the fantasy playoffs. Trautman has 11 catches for 178 yards and two TDs in 14 games, while Adkins has only eight grabs for 65 yards and three scores on the year.

In the 38-6 blowout victory, Adkins caught his only target for a 12-yard touchdown score that put the Broncos on the scoreboard early in the first quarter. They would never look back, with rookie quarterback Bo Nix throwing for over 300 yards and a career-high four touchdowns. Adkins' first touchdown of the year came in the Week 8 win over the Carolina Panthers. The 25-year-old shouldn't be a waiver-wire consideration at all this upcoming week after his second score, as he now has only six receptions for 34 yards and two TDs on seven targets in 11 games in 2024. There's a good chance we won't hear from the second-year TE again.
