Pat Bryant Pops Up on Injury Report With Hamstring Injury

Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant (hamstring) was added to the injury report on Thursday and was listed as a limited practice participant with a hamstring injury, according to Mike Klis of 9 News. Bryant was fully healthy on Wednesday, so this means that the 22-year-old likely suffered an injury in practice on Thursday. It's definitely something to watch for fantasy managers as the Broncos head into a rematch against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on the road this Sunday. Bryant has become much more involved in the offense in the last five games, and he had eight catches on 13 targets for 124 yards in the last two contests. In his first 12 NFL games, Bryant has recorded an 18-273-1 line as the WR3 for the Broncos behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. If Bryant is unable to play in Week 14, Franklin would become a much more attractive WR4/flex play in fantasy, with Marvin Mims Jr. also becoming a more attractive big-play threat in deeper formats.

Broncos QB Says Pat Bryant is an "Every Down Receiver"

After back-to-back productive games, Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant is earning praise from his quarterback, Bo Nix. Nix said that Bryant is "an every-down receiver and is getting better and better each week." In the last two games, Bryant has made eight catches on 13 targets for 124 yards, playing a 58% and 70% snap share in those games. The third-round pick from Illinois is becoming a top target for Nix, and he played the second-most snaps of any receiver for the Broncos after their bye week. Bryant and the Broncos face an easy matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14, who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. While Bryant is not yet a regular starter, with high praise from his quarterback and a growing role, the rookie receiver is a name to watch this week.

Pat Bryant Earning More Consistent Role in Denver

Across 12 games this season, Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant has recorded just 18 catches for 273 yards and a touchdown on 32 targets. However, the 22-year-old has played some of his best football in recent weeks. Over his last three games, Bryant has recorded nine catches for 167 yards on 15 targets. Bryant has earned at least six targets in each of the last two weeks, and he played a season-high 70% of Denver's offensive snaps in the team's Week 13 win over the Washington Commanders. While Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin are relatively established as the top two wide receivers in Denver, it appears Bryant is carving out a role down the stretch of the season. In fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams, Bryant is worth targeting on the waiver wire and stashing through Denver's Week 14 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Pat Bryant is Tough to Trust for Week 13

Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant is coming off his best performance of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11. The rookie wideout hauled in five of his six targets for 82 yards in the win. This was a solid showing from Bryant who has been a non-factor in the offense outside of that. Bryant has been held to two receptions or less in every game besides his most recent performance. It remains to be seen what kind of involvement Bryant will have coming out of the bye week. He'll likely be a distant third option behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. Bryant is worth a stash in dynasty formats, but isn't a recommended starting option against the Washington Commanders this weekend.

Pat Bryant Not Worth Starting in Week 11 Against Chiefs

Through the first nine games of his NFL career, Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant has recorded 10 catches for 149 yards and a touchdown on 19 targets. With Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) sidelined by a concussion, Bryant has stepped into the WR3 role in Denver over the past two weeks. However, Mims Jr. logged three full practices this week and does not carry an injury designation into the team's Week 11 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Bryant should still see some snaps against Kansas City, but the return of Mims Jr. limits his breakout potential. The Chiefs are also a difficult matchup, as they have allowed the fifth-fewest passing yards (1,763) in the NFL so far this season. Bryant should remain off the radar of fantasy managers in Week 11.

Pat Bryant Catches Long Pass Against Las Vegas

Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant saw two targets during Thursday's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He finished with one catch -- a 43-yard reception -- and was the Broncos' receiving yards leader in an underwhelming performance from the passing game. Bryant now has five catches, 103 yards, and one touchdown over his last three games. He has maintained very steady involvement in the offensive attack, logging around 50 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the last six weeks. The rookie out of Illinois doesn't have standalone fantasy value quite yet, but he is one step closer to establishing himself as the full-time No. 3 receiver behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. If Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion) continues to miss time, Bryant will see more meaningful involvement.

Pat Bryant a Touchdown-Dependent Streamer on Thursday

Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant should be left out of lineups in most formats when his team takes on the Las Vegas Raiders in the Thursday Night Football game for Week 10. The rookie from Illinois has earned more playing time as the season has progressed, appearing in more than half of Denver's offensive snaps five weeks in a row, but he has yet to catch more than two passes in a game. He scored his first touchdown in Week 8 against Dallas and has been the Broncos' preferred replacement with Marvin Mims (concussion) out, though Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin have continued as quarterback Bo Nix's most-targeted options. Bryant has a solid matchup against a bad Vegas defense, but he'll be touchdown-dependent in a secondary role.

Pat Bryant Seeing Steady Increase in Playing Time in Denver

Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant has had a quiet start to his first year in the NFL. Through seven games, the 22-year-old has recorded five catches for 46 yards on 10 targets. On the bright side, Bryant has seen a clear increase in playing time in recent weeks. After failing to play more than 33% of Denver's offensive snaps in any of the team's first four games, Bryant has played more than 50% of the snaps in each of the last three weeks. He also saw a career-high four targets in Week 7 against the New York Giants, but turned them into just one catch for six yards. Despite the encouraging trends, Bryant has a ways to go before he's worth rostering in redraft fantasy leagues. He maintains dynasty appeal, but can remain off the radar of redraft fantasy managers for the time being.

Pat Bryant Working Into More Snaps on Offense?

Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant played the third-most snaps among the team's receivers in Week 5 against the Eagles, trailing only Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. The rotation at wide receiver for Denver has been inconsistent week to week, outside of Sutton and Franklin. But Bryant has earned more snaps on offense for doing the dirty work as a blocker. The rookie out of Illinois got a lot of recognition for his block in the Bengals game that sprung Marvin Mims for a touchdown. Bryant got up a season high 54% of the routes in Week 5, jumping significantly from his high of 32% in the previous week. For the season, he's only caught two of four targets for 18 yards. It's still a very crowded Denver passing attack, and Bryant would need a lot to happen to be fantasy relevant in redraft leagues.

Pat Bryant Could Be in Line for More Snaps

Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant could see a modest uptick in snaps this week when his team squares off against the Cincinnati Bengals at home on Monday Night Football. Bryant is currently a distant option in Denver's WR corps, ranking fifth in snaps and amassing just two receptions for 18 yards (three targets) through three weeks. He could see the field a bit more in Week 4 with the news that fellow wideout Marvin Mims Jr. (hip) is questionable with a hip injury. The 22-year-old was highly touted in camp, but for the time being, teammates Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin are the only Broncos' pass catchers worth starting. He'll land as RotoBaller's PPR WR105 ahead of Monday night's doubleheader.
