The Minnesota Vikings agreed to re-sign defensive end Jonathan Bullard to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday, according to a source. Bullard will return to Minnesota after producing 23 tackles (17 solo) and five tackles for loss in 12 games (seven starts) in 2022 in his first season with the team. The 29-year-old should be expected to continue serving in a depth role on the Vikings' defensive line in 2023, which makes him avoidable in IDP leagues. In his seven NFL seasons for the Vikings, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons, Bullard has posted 136 tackles (87 solo), 3.5 sacks, 18 tackles for loss, 16 QB hits, five passes defensed and a forced fumble in 82 games (22 starts).

The hope is that he can return to the field soon. Bullard suffered a biceps injury in the first half on Sunday and never returned to the contest. The 29-year-old has been playing a rotational role along the team's defensive line, but there's a good chance he won't be ready to play in Week 14 against the Detroit Lions.
