Tyler Biadasz Injures Groin In Week 17 Win

Washington Commanders center Tyler Biadasz (groin) exited Sunday's Week 17 contest against the Atlanta Falcons and did not return. Washington left the door open for him to re-enter by listing him as questionable, and he did join his teammates on the sideline. However, he stayed off the field while Michael Deiter took over as the Commanders' center. Biadasz's status is worth monitoring given his integral role in snapping the football and protecting Jayden Daniels.

Commanders Expected To Sign Tyler Biadasz

The Washington Commanders are expected to sign former Dallas Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz in free agency this week, according to sources. It's yet another former Cowboys player that former Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is bringing to D.C. as the new head coach of the Commanders in 2024. The former fourth-round selection in 2020 by Dallas out of Wisconsin started all but two games in the last two seasons for the Cowboys and earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2022. He has started 53 of the 61 games he's appeared in for Dallas the last four years. The 26-year-old should help provide stability at center for the Commanders and pave the way for running backs Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler in his first year in Washington.

Tyler Biadasz, Zack Martin Officially Active Versus Patriots

Dallas Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz (hamstring) and guard Zack Martin (ankle) are officially active for Week 4 against the New England Patriots. The Cowboys will be without offensive tackle Tyron Smith (ankle) on Sunday, so getting Biadasz and Martin back is huge news against a solid Patriots defense. Their presence bodes well for running back Tony Pollard, who could be a fantasy RB1 on Sunday. Dak Prescott, who also benefits, ranks as a high-end QB2.

Tyler Biadasz, Zack Martin Expected To Play

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to have center Tyler Biadasz (hamstring) and offensive guard Zack Martin (ankle) for the Week 4 contest against the New England Patriots on Sunday, according to a source. It's a big boost for a Cowboys offensive line that will be without offensive tackle Tyron Smith (ankle) as they look to bounce back from a disappointing loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3. Both Biadasz and Martin missed the game last Sunday. Their returns are great news for quarterback Dak Prescott and the rest of the Dallas offense against a tough Patriots defense.

Tyler Biadasz Injured In Practice Thursday

It was a costly practice session for the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, as they lost star cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) to a torn ACL. Pro Bowl center Tyler Biadasz (hamstring) was also hurt and is undergoing an MRI exam to determine the extent of the injury, according to a source. Another source said that "Tyler will be OK." The 25-year-old center's availability for the Week 3 game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday is now firmly in question. Zack Martin (ankle) was also hurt in the Week 2 win over the New York Jets and could be questionable for this weekend, so Dallas' offensive line is a little beat up early this year.

Tyler Biadasz Injured Thursday Night

Dallas Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz (ankle) was injured in the second half of the Thursday night game against the Tennessee Titans and is being listed as questionable to return. He left the field after being rolled up on and was carted to the locker room, so there's a good chance we won't see him again for the remainder of the contest. With the 25-year-old hurt, the Cowboys moved Connor McGovern to center and Tyler Smith to left guard, while Jason Peters entered the game to play left tackle on quarterback Dak Prescott's blind side. The last thing the Cowboys need heading into the playoffs in a couple weeks is injuries to key players on their offensive line.
