In the third period he would tally his second assist of the evening, on another primary assist, this time on Noah Hanifin's strike. Stone would then cap off the victory with an empty-net goal. Since returning to action on December 6 due to a lower-body injury, Stone has tallied seven points (one goal, six helpers) across six games while holding a +3 rating with ten total shots. Fantasy managers should expect Stone to continue his productive scoring output playing alongside Jack Eichel on the top line.

Patrik Laine Extends Goal Streak To Three Games
Montreal Canadiens right wing Patrik Laine tallied his eighth goal of the season during Saturday's victory over the Detroit Red Wings. Laine would score on the power-play to beat Detroit goaltender Alex Lyon. This strike extended his scoring streak to three games. Nico Hischier Busy In Saturday's Victory
New Jersey Devils center Nico Hischier tallied three points during their 3-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday evening. Hischier tallied the primary assist on Stefan Noesen's opening goal which eventually served as the game-winner. Connor Hellebuyck Posts Fourth Shutout Of The Season
Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck stopped all 19 shots he faced en route to defeating the Minnesota Wild and tallying his fourth shutout of the campaign. The Jets got out to an early two-goal lead in the opening frame thanks to Nikolaj Ehlers and Morgan Barron which game Hellebuyck a nice cushion early on. The 31-year-old is currently riding a three-game win streak. During this span he has only allowed five goals and held a stellar 1.67 GAA and a .939% SV. Since the start of December, Hellebuyck has posted a 6-2-1 record with a 1.98 GAA and a .927% SV. He will look to extend his winning streak to four games on Monday when facing the high-scoring Toronto Maple Leafs.

Quinn Hughes Posts Three-Point Game In Saturday's Loss
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes tallied high eighth goal of the season with two assists during Saturday's overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators. Even though the Rangers have struggled throughout December, Shesterkin should still be viewed as a high-end goaltender. He will look to continue his win streak on Sunday afternoon against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Toronto Maple Leafs right wing William Nylander enjoyed a three-point night during Friday's victory over the Buffalo Sabres. Later in the second, he tallied another primary assist, this time on Max Pacioretty's fifth tally of the season. In the final minutes, Nylander scored the empty-netter to put the game out of reach. Playing in a potent Toronto top-6 and the top power-play unit, fantasy managers should always lock Nylander in their lineup and view him as a safe lineup anchor for DFS.
