If he can't suit up against the Niners, Dee Williams and Nehemiah Pritchett would be in line to earn more opportunities on defense.

Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl cornerback Tariq Woolen (knee), a 2022 fifth-round pick who tied for the league lead in interceptions in his rookie year, had arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday that is expected to keep him out until training camp, according to league sources. The 24-year-old finished his first year in the NFL with 63 tackles (46 solo), 16 passes defensed and six interceptions for the Seahawks, but he might not be ready for Week 1 now. Woolen proved to be an elite NFL cornerback in his first year and even put himself in the Defensive Rookie of the Year conversation, so any time missed in 2023 would be a big blow to Seattle's secondary.
