Washington Capitals right wing Aliaksei Protas scored twice to lead Washington to a victory on Sunday afternoon against the Los Angeles Kings. Protas opened the scoring in the first period on a snap shot which beat Los Angeles netminder David Rittich. His linemates, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Conner McMichael tallied the assists. Protas would then put the game out of reach by scoring the empty-netter. This goal was unassisted. This performance snapped a three-game scoreless drought for the 23-year-old. Utah Hockey Club right wing Clayton Keller tallied two goals and two assists during their shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday evening. Linus Ullmark Leaves Sunday's Game With Upper Body Injury
According to the Ottawa Senators, goaltender Linus Ullmark (upper body) left Sunday's game early with an upper body injury and was replaced by Leevi Merilainen at the start of the second period. Before exiting, Ullmark stopped six of the seven shots he faced. His lone blemish came on a Viktor Arvidsson snap shot. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Ullmark's status throughout the week as his next start would be on Saturday evening against the Winnipeg Jets. Kakko could be worth a look as a streaming option if he can continue to be productive in the scoring department. He will look to continue this performance on Saturday, in Vancouver.

Pyotr Kochetkov Achieves Rare Feat In Sunday's Win
Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov collected assists on two goals in Sunday's 3-1 victory over the Rangers, becoming the second netminder in Hurricanes/Whalers history to post multiple points in a single regular-season game. He's the first goaltender this season to achieve the feat. New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe has received an eight-game suspension. The 22-year-old was handed the suspension for boarding and elbowing Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen in Friday's 3-1 win. Rempe racked up 17 penalty minutes and was tossed from the game. The 31-year-old is currently riding a three-game win streak. During this span he has only allowed five goals and held a stellar 1.67 GAA and a .939% SV. Since the start of December, Hellebuyck has posted a 6-2-1 record with a 1.98 GAA and a .927% SV. He will look to extend his winning streak to four games on Monday when facing the high-scoring Toronto Maple Leafs.
